Evurn prepares for the end. With their Captain gone, the crew looks to him.
The oceans are dying and the sky burns as Misla looms over The North. But Rungar, the Rusis who fought against the City-Island Aieclo, has a plan. They must journey West, to a place of the Rusis people before their fall, in search of a weapon of true terror he believes will bring down Misla.
If it even works. If they can even complete the journey itself and as a great disaster is revealed in the shadow of the Keva mountains. What were the Rusis really building there?
Valrin's choice to go to Misla alone confuses Evurn. Rungar's focused path on destroying Misla and saving the thousands of innocent lives at risk is what Valrin would want but what about their Captain? As the navies and monsters of Misla launches their deadly attack, he must trust the Stormborn.
In the Great Bay of the North, a combined armada of men, elves, dwarves rise up against the threat of Marog as even new friends have a few secrets of their own and old friends return. But will it be enough?
Prepare for battle and take your place with the Stormborn's crew in Cataclysm, the second to last book in the Stormborn Saga!
This is definitely a story for all ages. An amazing continuation and even better than the others if possible. From the beginning you are pulled into the story and never realize when you’re done.
HOW CAN YOU HAVE AN ENTIRE STORMBORN BOOK WITHOUT THE STORMBORN?!?!
*clears throat*
After 11 books that have been action packed, nothing but hoping from misadventure to misadventure with many questions waiting to be answered, books 12 & 13 have been a breathe of fresh air when it comes to getting answers.
This one killed my anxiety because for over 70% of the book we KNOW an epic battle is coming. All of the happenings in the past few books are finally coming together, it's there. You can feel the anxious pre battle jitters throughout the crew. But the saving grace, was that while we waited for death and destruction (and hopefully victory! + the saving the bloody Stormborn) we get sooo much world building. All of these books are making so much stuff click within the universe and I feel like YES YES YES TELL ME ALL THE SECRETS!
Though the book ends mid-battle, massive cliffhanger, and grrr. So we'll see. Make sure you have book 14 handy because you'll regret it if you don't.
I am excited to keep reading from this series onto the next, and see all the nods that were here, playout in future books.
JT what are you doing to your readers? You are blowing our minds! This is part of the Stormborn Saga and it is NOT one to be missed. JT has created such a wonderful story that it gets better with every book! I love this saga and I am so excited to let all my friends know about it to. If you like Fantasy and space this is one of those series that you just do not want to leave! Yes it seems as if the younger generations would love this and they DO! But us oldies can enjoy this universe just as well! I have followed this series from the beginning and I can not tell you how good it is! Go check it out you will not be sorry that you did! It will grab you and hold on.
I can't get enough of this entire Dwemhar world- each book makes me want more. This book shows the strength of character in the crew and their loyalty to each other. Like all the other books, there many subtle words and suggestions pointed at what takes place in our world today, and makes you think of how we live. But when you reach the end of the book all comes down to getting the next book after getting the Stormborn back with his ship and crew.
A battle to destroy Marog The detail and the complexity of the battle to save as many lives as possible. Man, elves, dwarves and the Stormborn must work together! An awesome non stop read!
