They dragged the boy I loved from my arms and accused him of a murder I know he didn't commit. Now all I want is revenge.
But with secrets from my past dredged up at every turn, I have no idea who to trust.
We’ve lived through the lies. It’s time for the truth to be revealed. No matter the cost.
They say the truth will set you free. But in Saint View, it might just kill you first.
The explosive conclusion to the Saint View High trilogy. Twisted Little Truths is the story of three bad boys and a girl who knows how to stand her ground. It is a mature high school/new adult, #whychoose romance, meaning the main character has more than one love interest. This book contains enemies-to-lovers and bullying themes and there may be triggers for some readers. It is the third and final book in an ongoing trilogy and cannot be read as a standalone.
USA Today Bestselling author Elle Thorpe is the author of over thirty romance titles, including Amazon top ten books, Start a War and Locked Up Liars. She is best known for her dark reverse harems, and sexy small town romances.
When she's not writing, she's probably out on her family's alpaca farm in rural Australia.
This was such a good series! I normally don't like reading high school romances but this wasn't annoying at all and I loved the four main characters. Colt, Rafe, and Banjo were the sweetest when it came to Lacey. I loved how protective they all grew to be over her and it was great seeing how each guy brought something a little different to their forgy relationship. The suspense was well done, the steam was on fire, and I already can't wait to read more from Elle Thorpe! She's definitely a new fav for me for reverse harem romances.
This last book while it wrapped everything up, literally wrapped a large amount of questions and issues up during thanksgiving dinner. Her mom issues, the one guys parental issues including a fire and homeless shelter, the one guy’s brother issue with pimping included and the inclusion of selinas best friend. It just felt like so much at once and then there was still her uncle’s killer and fire, her would be rapist/stalker, the mean girl who’s getting abused by said rapist stalker, her best friend that was having an affair with her uncle, the surprise pregnancy, and I’m sure I’m forgetting the other little tropes.
There was too many plot points at once and side stories it was a little hard to keep up with them all. What ever happened to the FMC learning how to fight? You went to a fight night where you learned colt is a fighter and is supposed to be good, and then that was it. There wasn’t that much about the growth of banjo and Rafe, you get that one scene of them playing football and that’s it and then a little limo action, and that’s basically it. that was disappointing. If you’re gonna include some m/m don’t half-ass it.
The female lead wasn’t my favorite. She would find some facts out and then shut off. She got to be a little wish-washy. This series just didn’t seem realistic. It’s like all of a sudden “I don’t feel like going to school” “okay cool” . And then it’s like you go to read and it’s like “we skipped Monday and Tuesday” 🧐? There was a lot of skipping, not a lot of school, idk. This is high school not college.
The real MVP of the series was her aunt Selina. Literally super accepting, willing to take in all of FMC’s guys when they get kicked out, willing to fund basically anything.
Not my favorite series, I’m glad it’s over and I didn’t pay for it.
Twisted Little Truths is the third and final full length novel in Elle Thorpe's Saint View High series. Spoken in multiple perspectives, this is the conclusion to Colt, Rafe, Banjo and Lacey's story. I usually steer clear of reverse harem because it's a little out of my comfort zone, but I'm so glad that I took a chance on it. From start to finish, this series delivered plenty of drama, suspense, angst, thrills and steam.
With the boys by her side, Lacey is still on the hunt for her uncle's killer. But the deeper she digs, the more dangerous things become. And when memories from a long forgotten past resurface, she quickly learns that not everyone is who they claim to be. What follows is a twisted turn of events as secrets are revealed and lies are uncovered.
I absolutely fell in love with Colt, Rafe, Banjo and Lacey. Although their relationship was unconventional, this forgy had an amazing connection that ran deep. I loved each and every second of their journey. It ticked off all of my boxes from the unique storyline, to the characters, to the feels, to the sizzling hot sexy times, to the twists and turns. Seconds, minutes, hours of my life ceased to exist as I devoured every single word of it. Five stars for Colt, Rafe, Banjo, Lacey and Twisted Little Truths!
This was seriously bad for my blood pressure. It frustrated me so much with the constant miscommunication trope, it ruined the mystery and suspense for me.
I just already knew what was going on before the main character decided to pull her head outta her ass and listen. It was just so obvious!!
I honestly wanted to bitch slap everyone at some point in the story.
An attend was made with the mm relationship but oh god it was still 85% fetishization. Not cool.
But Colt was amazing and I'm giving him one extra star just for him lol
Let me start by saying I read a lot of new adult romance, but I felt the way these characters behaved in some situations made it even harder to feel as though this story was “believable.”
Obviously not in a “real life” sort of way, but in the world the author created in the pages of the story. In order to enjoy a story, I need the author to pull me into the fictional world, and from there the events that take place inside that world need to feel as though they take place in ways that feel authentic to the world and the characters.
That isn’t the feeling I had while reading this series.
I love nothing more than to be lost inside a fictional world, but in order for that to happen the words on the page need to offer a “believable” world, and that wasn’t the case here.
The wait is over! Twisted Little Truths the third and the final book in the Saint View High series is out now. I was new to Elle's work before this series and I'm so so glad I jumped in and gave these books a go they are AMAZING!!! The series is connected and must be read in order.
Drama, intrigue, hot sexy times with three guys and one girl, check, check, check.
We finally get the conclusion of Banjo, Rafe, Colt and Lacey. As with all the books in the series, this one isn't without its struggles, twists and turns.
I seriously could not get enough of these four or this series. One of my favourites this year for sure.
The book is an enemies-to-lovers with bullying themes. There may be triggers for some readers. If this sounds like your kind of book and you haven't started this series do your self a favour and go and get yourself a copy!
For an extra dish of these fantastic characters head over to Elle's website to get a bonus scene for each book in the trilogy (so worth it, you don't want to miss these).
I like this one better. I LOVE Aria and Willa. Even though everything was super predictable it was interesting and easy to enjoy. This one was my favorite
i was honestly going to give this 4/5 stars, but there was a trope at 80% that i absolutely despise, so i dropped this down to 3 stars. overall, i enjoyed this trilogy but i did feel like this last book got drawn out quite a lot and feel that the same amount of story could have been achieved in a shorter book. i liked the chemistry and connections between all of the guys and lacey and there were a few plot twists that i didn’t see coming. i felt that the largest storyline regarding lawson felt a little bit predictable, especially regarding who actually killed me, but regardless i still enjoyed the story. overall, a pretty decent read!
“who we come from doesn’t define us. they can only take our happiness if we let them.”
“You lie,” Banjo accused, “Colt couldn’t even love a teacup pig. And they’re the cutest, most lovable things in the world.”
This was such a good binge read. Some twists I did not see coming, some I did. It kept me on my toes. I basically finished the whole trilogy in 24hours aha.
There’s nothing wrong with this series, but also nothing very memorable. The underlying suspense plot kept this going for me, even though it was predictable.
By this book Colt was definitely my favorite 😍 The spice was pretty good, but I wasn’t very connected to these characters as a harem so it didn’t really get me as hot and bothered as it should 🤷🏻♀️ For some reason it was very clear to me that these kids are in HS so I think that was always in the back of my mind, whereas in other series I tend to forget it.
Also, I’m not really into a pregnancy trope in a RH 🙄. Save that for the epilogue.
I think that if you are in the mood for a spicy high school RH, that is not too dark and light on the bully factor then this would be a great series.
This is third and final book in the series. It only took 2.5 days to devour all three.
As excited as I am that all my questions were answered, I don’t know that I’m ready to let this crew go.
Thorpe dives deeper into each character a little more in this book. It’s hard to pick a favorite guy, I mean I totally see why Lacey couldn’t choose. I don’t blame her there. Each guy brings their own piece of the puzzle to their foursome or as Banjo calls it forgy!
I have to say that ending I did NOT see coming. My jaw dropped and I blinked a few times at my kindle making sure that’s what I read.
The title is perfect because every truth revealed had been twisted with lies. Justice was finally served and hopefully happily ever afters for all.
The spice level in this book was definitely turned up a few notches!
Three stars for this one. I like the plot basically the same as the other two but I had to give this three stars because .
Aside from that, which I really didn't like, I enjoyed this as a conclusion. We learn a lot about Lacey's background and I enjoyed that. It isn't always delivered in the most subtle way and sometimes I didn't feel like the characters were reacting to new information like real people would but mostly I enjoyed this. The conclusion to the mystery that has been the overarching plot in this series was a bit of a rough spot in this. It was wrapped up a bit too quickly for my taste and I wasn't completely satisfied but it wasn't bad.
The focus for me was the relationship anyways and I did like that. Not just the romantic relationships but also the familial relationships were really good. I really enjoyed the role of parents across this series. In other RH books, parents are almost exclusively horrible, dead, or otherwise out of the picture. You have a bit of that here but there are also really supportive families and I really enjoyed that element.
I would definitely consider reading more books from this author. The writing in these books was pretty good and these books were just so readable. I really enjoyed my time reading this series and I'm glad I picked it up.
The conclusion to the Saint View High trilogy is here.......and oh what a finale it was!! We get the answer to who killed Lawson, which has been a mystery since the beginning. There were just so many twists and turns and jaw-dropping moments, and I just couldn't get enough. I had to start reading slowly because I didn't want the story to end. And when I did get to the end, there was so much emotion in those pages that I didn't expect and it brought some tears to my eyes.
Lacey, Rafe, Banjo, and Colt - they have become some of my most favorite characters ever. I just love how they all are together, apart, in couples, or in their forgy. They just have an amazing connection, and no matter how unconventional their relationship is - it works. Even those around them, especially Selina (who is just the best), could see that they were happy and in love - and that was what was most important.
I am so glad that I went outside my comfort zone and took a chance on this series. It's become one of my all-time favorites and I'm so excited that she'll be continuing on in the Saint High world with another series coming soon!
I think I’m still in shock from this book and this series as a whole. Twisted Little Truths answered so many questions, but also had a few unexpected turns.
Things pick up right where things ended in Dangerous Little Secrets and trust me this is the conclusion you have been waiting for!! We learn who killed Lawson, which had my jaw on the floor. I was completely SHOCKED!!!!!
I continued to fall more and more in love with the relationship between Lacey, Banjo, Rafe and Colt. There is so much chemistry between this group and their friendship adds a whole other level to it. There are some sweet moments, some emotional moments, some funny moments and some rather steamy moments. The bond they all share is hands down one of my favorite things.
The Saint View series is addictive, captivating, full of twists and turns, a beautiful bond between four people and packs the heat. Twisted Little Truths is a MUST READ and I HIGHLY recommend this entire series!
SPOILER WARNING I'm not going to go into a speel about everything wrong with this book and series. I'll start with how Lacey had a plan this whole series to find the person who murdered her uncle and then does nothing about it when she meets her three LIs except get them to pick her up and find a specific tee-shirt. When she realizes that's obviously not gonna be enough to find a killer, she decided to "make a better plan." Spoiler, she never does. Just like with Owen, she mentions figuring out how to deal with him and NEVER does. She lets everyone else do the heavy lifting and comes back to the main plot when they do.
Also, unplanned pregnancy was ridiculous. This whole series felt like it was trying to put as much random angst together and loosely sew it together for a story.
Makes me so sad to have wasted all this time for a barely there plot that not even the characters care we about.
Hello, newest addition to my paperback collection!! No joke, it's that good.
This book was AMAZEBALLS. It was - as the title suggests - twisted. Super steamy, surprising, and such a satisfying way to finish the series. All my questions were answered, all the truths revealed. I have so much love for this forgy (read the book to get the joke) that I will absolutely read anything else pertaining to this world.
And, because I love clichés, I have to throw out these gems: Throw another shrimp on the barby, it's sizzling! Holy, hot, scorching bonus scene, Batman! Make sure to grab that goodie.
I went through this series at an unprecedented rate, and enjoyed every minute of it.
Loved Lacey and her guys. After so many bully and enemies to lovers books, having one where the guys are amazing, loving, and supportive was a nice change of pace.
There's loads going on, secrets and mysteries, danger and murder. But it doesn't stop the feel-good factor, and I was left happy and smiling over the HEA.
Will definitely be checking out the author's other books.
Twisted Little Truths by Elle Thorpe is a why choose romance.
What I didn’t like about the book was it was a high school romance, which I know you can tell by it clearly saying Sinner High or whatever it was called. I read Wife Number One and fell in love with the story and the characters, and because that’s not the first book, I dove into the beginning of the reading order.
While I realize you don’t need to read the other books to enjoy the one I read, I looked forward to their origin story. I feel like I could have skipped this story
I enjoyed the characters, not the setting.
Be aware because this will contain spoilers.
Normally my reviews contain little to no spoilers but it was hard to write a review without it. I’m sure many saw from book one where things with her Uncle was going. This part was gross (as in not my thing) but understandable with the story line. I felt the story could itself could have been told as if they were in college, referencing the incidents from high school. The book had so much underage sex that I found myself skipping past it because it felt pervy.
Overall this book was much better than book 2 but the series itself was just an ok to me. This book in itself would be a 4 but the overall series is only a three.
I’m hoping this isn’t the norm for her because I loved Wife Number One and already picked up The next book in the collection to start tomorrow. I would recommend giving her a chance, just make sure to look at the subject matter on this one.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
Perfect. There is definitely no other word for it. This series is perfect.
If you like dark romance, why choose, and ☠️ mysteries, then you need to read this series. At least if you don't mind high school setting 😎
It's full of everything. And it's thrilling till the end. Not just the ☠️ mystery. It's all the other things, too. The hate between Lacey and the guys. All the secrets. The intrigues. All the side characters. I can't even say what side character was my favorite 🙈 The chemistry between Lacey and her guys. And don't let me even start about the three 😎 I wished there were such 🔥 guys when I went to school. Do I have a favorite? That's a really difficult question, they are all so different. But if I had to choose, I might choose Colt. I love the snarky banter he and Lacey have with each other. He might not he the one who shows his love for her the way Banjo and Rafe do, but there is this very deep love between them. When I just talk about Banjo and Rafe... I'm normally more of an MFMM kind of girl, but these two are so cute together 🥰 And they make a few things very funny 😎
And about the solving of the ☠️ WOW. I switched my culprit multiple times between the suspects. There are quite a few 🙈
I definitely found another favorite author in Elle Thorpe. And I'm going to read more of her books. And as far as I realized, it's for the best to read them all in the suggested order, because some of the characters will appear in the next series 🤩
OMG…I loved the finale of Twisted Little Truths. It has all of my faves when looking for the best book of all. First, I have to love the writing style (can’t be boring) and have me wanting to talk all about what I read. In other words, I have to feel like I don’t want the story to end. Next, it has to make me feel a bunch of emotions and be engaging. Then, it has to have surprises, twist, turns, and things going sideways. Twisted Little Truths has it all. Absolutely, loved this book. Elle Thorpe did a wonderful job of grabbing my attention and holding it till the very end. Then, of course, the bonus scenes really did tie up some things nicely. Elle has a way of engaging readers and keeping us engrossed from beginning to end. Highly recommend Twisted Little Truths. There is so much I want to say but don’t want to spoil Twisted Little Truths for anyone. Let’s see, what do I want future readers to know…Saint View High series has it all, emotions, engaging, engrossing, hot, explosive chemistry, and so much more. Will leave you wanting more and with your emotions all in a whirlwind. Will never leave you bored. Well, actually, the whole trilogy was great from the first book till the finale. Elle did mention at the end that she will be writing more in Saint View with a whole new trilogy. Can’t wait!! Will be reading her other books in the meantime.
OMG I've loved this entire series but this final book in the series blew me away! There are so many twists and turns in this finale that I was totally blindsided by the conclusion of the suspense arc of the story. I love a plot point that has me pause and reread to make sure I know what the heck I read: the WTF moment. I may have had more than one of those in this book. Lacey, Rafe, Banjo, and Colt, who would have thought they could all co-exist and form an unbreakable bond at the beginning of this journey? But that is exactly what happens, the author weaves together their pasts, present, and futures in such a way that the forgy becomes an entity of its own. I'm not going to touch on the plot in this review because there is so much going on and spoilers abound in this book. Ms. Thorpe is a master at developing her characters and storylines into a book that draws the reader in from page one and hangs on to those heartstrings long after the story is over. This author gave me a series, and a finale, I didn't know I would like, let alone love. Prior to this series reverse harem/bully romance wasn't on my TBR but Elle Thorpe made me love the series and these characters have become old friends. Grab a comfy chair, a warm blanket and your favorite beverage and dive in to Twisted Little Truths to find the all the emotions and hotness Elle Thorpe delivers.
Twisted Little Truths by Elle Thorpe is a gripping, emotionally charged read that leans hard into found family, buried trauma,l and slow-burning suspense. This installment doesn’t hold back, layer by layer, it peels away the lies and half-truths surrounding Lacey’s past, constantly reshaping what you think you know.
The story balances intense, high-stakes moments with quieter, deeply emotional ones. Relationships continue to evolve in meaningful ways, especially within the found-family dynamic, bringing moments of warmth, loyalty and unconditional support amid the chaos. Why choose romance, friendship and love are all tested as external threats close in and long-buried wounds resurface.
Music becomes an emotional outlet, chosen family becomes a lifeline and resilience shines through even the darkest moments. The tension steadily escalates, keeping you guessing while emotional revelations hit just as hard as the suspense.
By the end, Twisted Little Truths delivers a satisfying blend of mystery, heartbreak, healing and love. Some twists you may see coming, others hit out of nowhere, but the emotional payoff makes it all worthwhile. A strong read that proves sometimes the truth hurts… but it also sets you free. 📚💔✨
Her mother is back. But where has she been for the past thirteen years?
Did the principle kill her uncle?
She's full of questions, but how many hearts will break along the way when the truths are set free..?
This is the third book and conclusion to the much loved saint view high series.
Nothing has been straight forward and simple in Laceys story, and that's one of the reasons I've loved it so much.
This book continues that theme, and I can honestly say I didnt know what was going to happen next. Each chapter, each page was more dramatic than the one before.
There's tension and tears, frustration and deviousness, mixed together with a love like no other. It's a read I for one won't forget in a long time.
Lacey surpassed herself and totally outgrew her "princess" title. She became their queen and it looked so good on her.
The boys, Rafe, Banjo and Colt carried on wooing my heart and stealing my breath. I'm very much in the why choose camp as they are all utterly scrumptious.
Elle Thorpe has captured my heart with this series, and I really and truly hope she continues to write in this trope.
I was loving it until my least favourite trope appeared. I was enjoying the mystery, even though I guessed the killer in book 1. This series was just 3 books of miscommunication trope. Honestly, it felt like it didn't need to be 3 books. Could have been done in 2. Anyhow, some loose ends were never fully tied up. Was Lawson exposed and did more girls come forward? What happened to Pam and Augie? Did Augie get arrested? He did record these kids having sex and posted it without them knowing. Also, I really didn't see a need for Selina to go to jail. I mean guessing from her character, she's so nice guilt was probably eating her alive, but honestly, she didn't need to confess. The important people knew, and they understood why. She should be living happily in her house without that nasty man with her. Also, seriously? Surprise Pregnancy trope? I mean it's probably realistic because these three 18 year old boys were raw dogging her but still. I feel like the book could have worked without her getting pregnant, should have just let her stay on birth control.
This book has def ruined me the Love all four had for eachother was just wow.
Lacey went through so many heartbreaking moments in this last book and it had you hooked.
Colt was even more of a hot alpha in this book then he was in the other two. He had you all hot and bothered the moment words came out of his mouth haha.
Banjo oh my sweet Banjo what is there not to love about him. Hes so sweet and thoughtful. Always wanting everything to go right. The love and protectivness he had for Lacey and the boys even Laceys aunt had me swooning all over him.
Rafe well what can i say he just had you HOT under the collar straight away. He was so protective of what was his and his anger showed when he wasnt liking a situation.
This book is full of action and has you not wanting to put it down. You MUST READ!!! ITS A TOP 20 BOOK OF THE YEAR!!!!!
Elle you have knocked it out of the park and if i could give this series 100 out of 10 i would haha 5 STAR!!!!!
Boom! Now that’s how you end a series! Elle Thorpe has once again delivered an exceptional read
Twisted Little Truths is the third and final book in this series. With the support from Rafe, Banjo and Colt, Lacey continues to look for the answers shes been searching for. Unfortunately, with these answers, it became a twisted turn of events.
This book delivers plenty of drama, suspense, and steam to keep you entertained. I read this in one sitting. I’ll admit, I don’t fully understand the whole RH relationships, but holy hotness, the chemistry between this ‘forgy’ was off the fricken charts. I didn’t want her to choose just one. The relationship between this foursome just worked.
The series as a whole was fantastic and I thought she did an excellent job wrapping everything up. Oh, be sure to click the bonus scenes at the end. You definitely don’t want to miss those
It is safe to say Elle Thorpe knows how to write an exciting, suspenseful and oh so hot romance that carries over into three novels. It is so intriguing that it will have the reader on pins and needles and turning pages until they get to the end of the book! It did not take me long to read this book (nor the first two) but it is definitely a series to read multiple times. The characters are strong, smart and courageous enough to fight for the ones they love, and to believe in them. This series is most definitely a MUST READ! THANK. YOU ELLE!!!!
OMG I was so excited to read the final installment of Lacey's story and it was so worth the wait!! There were so many twists that I didn't see coming!! I was on the edge of my seat all the way through it. I loved how Lacey's relationship deepens with all three of her men....it was just perfect watching their relationships grow and of course finally getting all the answers we needed in the plot!! I seriously cannot wait to read more from this author...5 huge stars!!
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
