And she must come forward and claim her place in this world or all her efforts will have been for nothing…Will Lucifer and his pack overcome the damage they’ve done, or is it already too late?Raise the Dead is Book 8 of the Hell Hound Harem series and Book 2 in the third trilogy.
Briana Michaels grew up and still lives on the East Coast. When taking a break from the crazy adventures in her head, she enjoys running around with her two children. If there is time to spare, she loves to read, cook, hike in the woods, and sit outside with a fire. She does all of this with the love and support of her amazing husband who always has her back, encouraging her to go for her dreams. Aye, she’s a lucky girl indeed.
Book 8 of this reverse harem series, and book 2 of Lucifers trilogy. All books must be read in order.
My my, they just get better and better. Watching these angels story play out is a sick addiction of mine. So captivating and it’s keeping me on the edge of my seat. I watched these angels fall apart and now I get to watch them come back together, all while trying to find a way to save all of humanity. I’m so anxious to see get to the big show down but dang I’m soooo sad to be moving on to the final book of the series. I don’t want this to be over. All of these characters have buried themselves into my heart and I just want to howl right along with them. I want to fight their battles with them. This series will forever be a favorite of mine. So here I go... off to the series finale.
I’m really annoyed with this book, I didn’t enjoy it all. After the last book where were clued into how awful the H’s & h backstory, I was very much looking forward to some reuniting, explanations, romancing, heartfelt forgiveness, understanding and EPIC sexy scenes. What I got was more of Eve being punished by a truly awful existence, yes it can be argued she made some bad decisions but DAMN her life has sucked HUGE donkey B@!!$. Also throughout both books there wasn’t the same romantic love story as the trilogies. You never got scenes where the characters developed there relationship in a positive way. All the H’s including Lucy (who I really do love) treated her terribly even after all she’s been through. Gabriel was the WORST, the things he says to her are so hurtful. There is very little to like about this character. Lucifer treats his Darling Sara so wonderfully and Eve like a traitor that he has no time for, expect to ask Eve to save Sara’s baby....then he has time. Constantine is a robot that uses Eve like a sex toy when he’s desperate then walks away disdaining her because it’s all her fault. All they seem to care about is having sex with her and blaming her for their weakness or decisions they make. Even though before, sometimes during and after they question her motives, feelings and loyalty. Also during all those years she was desperately trying to get to hell so is could be ALL instead of None, the 3 H did nothing to try and figure out a solution? But now they’re willing to share HELLs reign? But it’s her fault for everything? So basically...
Eve lives, dies trying to get to Lucy, heals, dies, heals, riiiiiinse, reeeeeepeat..... Lucifer didn’t know Gabe, Uri, Con knew
All or None was a beautifully heart wrenching decision by Eve
Gabe & Con are weak and won’t own there shit so let’s blame and punish Eve instead
But hey she loves them no matter what so just expect it as ok so the “epic” sex scene can happen at the end
Yeah....so very disappointed with this book. I’ll read the last to finish the series hoping it gets better. So far books 1-3 are the best, 4-6 are ok, but the ending trilogy so far is a let down.
Raise the Dead – Hell Hounds Harem: Lucifer’s Trilogy (Book 2) – Briana Michaels
Love, lust, loneliness and lament. Can an Angelic Harem find unity?
We jump feet first into this second instalment of the Hell Hounds Trilogy of Lucifer’s Harem. I’d like to say the author gives us some breathing space along the way. But this ride, the journey, the battles, the lust, the steam, the fractured relationships and emotions all blend to make this book a page turner that you will not be able to put down.
If you can catch your breath as we are tossed headfirst kicking and gasping into the danger that comes with the heartbreaking trials involved in the formation of the truly fated pack that is Eve, Lucifer, Gabriel, Constantine and Uriel, then you are made of strong stuff indeed.
The steamy scenes in this book are next level and the final scenes of unification that bring this Angel Harem to the pinnacle of blissful and pure oneness is nothing short of heart stopping.
There are some hugely descriptive fight and torture scenes and the gore levels can be a bit confronting when you’re reading a love story, but the necessity of this gruesomeness is IMO absolute. We could not feel all the emotion of this roller coaster ride without them.
Well written and executed as we would expect from this author who’s storytelling technique leaves us without any doubts in her ability to reach into our souls and cage our hearts. We can only hope that she is merciful in her completion of this final story arc for this Hell Hounds Harem Series…
Again, the usual warnings for sex scenes, RH themes (including MM) and blood and gore. I gave this book five stars!
This book takes place in modern times after centuries of building and ruling Hell. We see the characters we know from the 2 prior trilogies. We learn more about Eve’s life after the Battle from book 1 which was actually heartbreaking. The conflicts and inner turmoils of all 5 of our angels are highlighted. The book showcased what each of Eve’s men struggled with in the aftermath of the battle while trying to protect Lucifer and Eve. I just love the dynamic the author has created with all 5 of them. They each have different needs which extends to their relationship with Eve and each other.
I had a feeling I knew who the dark angel would be and I’m glad to see I was finally right. This author always manages to throw me off with her twists and it seems like my theories are never right. I cannot wait to read the final book of this trilogy so EVERYONE can have their happy ending, unless the author allows her world to end 😭😭😭
WOW ok so I don't even know where to begin with this book? This story is so freaking unbelievable, the world building, the little hints back to things that happened in the other books, that now make complete sense and open up another piece of the puzzle. I am seriously so freaking happy that Briana put out these books in sets of 3, because the cliffhanger on this bad boy would have made me cry. Thankfully here I go on to book 9, jumping in with both feet!! I adored the transformation of Eve and the pack and that they are finally fighting for each other and together as they were always meant to. This next book is going to have the most epic battle of all time and be so worth the wait!!! Here I go!!
I’m really in to the story with all of these books. I love Lucifers story so far but the editing still needs work, some parts of the story contradict other parts and I should be ok with the formatting issues by now because I’ve made it to book 8 however it’s still winding me up. I would have given up at book 2 but honestly I’ve been sucked in and need to see it through which tells me If this book was edited and proof read properly it would be amazing. Despite all the little oopsies it’s still well worth a read.
We're back in the now in this second book and omg who would have guessed it after the ending of the first one.
Now they have another thing to worry about.
The Michael pov annoy me, because he annoys the living sh*t out of me, which is a good thing because it means she wrote him well, but damn can't he just you know unalive himself or something, big pain in the ass. And that ending darn, after the explanation by Michael how is that even possible and is it a good or a bad thing?
Lucifer's story is just as engaging, detailed, and sweet as the previous three harem's have been, with a lot more heat!
The reader finds out why Lucy is the way he is, how the world and its parts came into being, and how all the angels came into play. Briana does a great job tying up all the loose ends into a complete story.
This entire series has fast become one of my favorites, and the characters will stick with me for a long time!
Brianna Michaels fully captures your heart and attention as she continues the saga of Lucifer's love and wrath. The intertwining web of dedication and deceit, is skillfully weaved with desire and mystery. Michael's ability to maintain a balance of tension and release amongst her characters and plot, ensures a reader's longing and desire to turn the next page, and pick up the next book.
The unfathomable strength of women ✅ The devil gets his due and it’s delicious ✅ We become the strength we need to survive each other ✅ This is a wild story and I am so glad to be graced with the privilege to read it. Lazarus better not have convinced Constantine to mess with the ending because the is the last before the end, and I need to know!!
Can't say much about the 8th book of this series without giving away spoilers. Im glad Tilley has made a come back a long with a few of our other favourite characters. This book grasps how hard we must become to survive our heartache. Some mentally, some physically. All or none.
This series just sucks you in from start to finish. I can't wait to read the final book of this series, but im so sad it's nearly the end because i love all these hounds and angels. I want their stories to continue. I would definitely recommend this whole series it's amazing.
The level of awesomeness in this book is off the charts. The trials the characters go through to some deep revelations is edge of my seat wanting to know more! But that twist at tbe end of the book threw me for a loop.
The agony, the secrets, the past, the present, is there a future? We finally get to see them come together as a pack and step up to equally take responsibility for Hell but what is Michael's plan? Was this really all fate from the beginning of the end?
I feel a sleepless night ahead of me. I can’t wait to read what happens next. The story is so gripping. My heart is ensnared! The characters are bad ass, the story is full of action and the Devil is hot as Hell.
Exciting. Thrilling. Suspenseful. Sexy. I love it. I’m anxious to read the last book and give my palms a chance to dry. I hope they get to tear out Michaels throat
What a ride. I don’t think I’ve ever hated a book character more than I do Michael. I don’t think I’ve ever prayed more for a happy ending but it looks like I’m going to have to wait for book 3.
This book is so good I couldn’t put it down until I finished it. I really love all the characters and the story. I would definitely recommend reading this book.
This is wow. I’m loving Lucy’s book. Getting to know him and see my favorite characters are a bonus. This was a really good read tho I’m not sure I like Gabriel. I love Lucy.
Okay so many things now make sense and dang do I love Lucifer even more now! Eve is wicked and the group is hot! I can’t believe how fast I’ve blazed through these books. TW/18+ 4.25/stars
I am at a loss for words, this is one epic series and Briana has outdone herself with Lucy's story. I am the edge of my seat for the battle. Howl for your pack hounds!!
