How much are you willing to take in the name of “love”?
Are you willing to put up with anything and everything for the sake of keeping your family together?
Chile, My Husband’s Mistress 1 & 2 is a lot and then some! All I could do is side eye, yell the audacity, the disrespect, suck my teeth and laugh throughout this whole book.. This was definitely a ride!

Format: Kindle Unlimited & Hoopla (Audiobook)
I finished this book at 2 a.m., and let’s just say my mouth hit the floor with some of these plot twists.
The amount of drama Hassan caused was ridiculous. Destiny should’ve filed for divorce a long time ago. I honestly don’t understand why it took her so long. Then again, some wives feel like they can’t lose the race, no matter how bad things get.
Now Destiny I didn’t think she had it in her. I was losing hope like, “Girl, beat Imani’s ass already!” But when the time came, she handled what she had to handle.
Imani whew. I already knew what it was, but I’m still wondering when she found out. Was it at the hospital? When I heard it, I screamed, “She got that package!” On top of that, she and Hassan really didn’t have enough sense to stop and smell themselves lol. Imani was a delusional fool a faithful side chick who ended up with nothing but multiple diseases and bullet holes.
Josiah, you should’ve minded your business and let your mama rest in hell.
The mama and sister were trash as hell. I’m glad Destiny whooped the mama. I was hoping she’d beat the sister up too.
Amaiya big dummy. Why are you worried about a man who just assaulted you?
Tanya, chileeeee. When that white lady said she’d had it for 20 years, I literally spit out my drink. I wasn’t expecting that at all. She was dirty for that. Now the baby situation was heartbreaking. My question is, why didn’t her parents look for that child after her body was found?
As for Hassan I’m glad he’s dead. You can’t spend your life playing with people and expect no consequences. In the end, he got exactly what he deserved.
Ms. Williams, why couldn’t you let Destiny make it to “I do”? I was really hoping she and Spencer would finally become husband and wife before she died. Finding out she had full-blown AIDS completely caught me off guard. My heart dropped hearing that.
I’m glad Spencer stayed by Amaiya and Destiny’s mother after everything. That was really sweet of him. He proved he was a good man who handled business.
Overall: This book had me yelling, laughing, mad, and completely shocked. The twists kept coming, and I definitely wasn’t prepared for that ending.
The narration might not be for everyone, but it worked for me. The male narrator had me laughing every time he voiced Hassan. I’m not sure why he chose that particular voice for him, but it fit in a funny way and made Hassan’s scenes even more entertaining.

This is the second book in the series. It was good, so many things happened. I realized that I didn't really like the main character of Destiny. She was so delusional and just frustrating. All of the characters in this book were delusional, and the ending? Eh, not horrible.

I really tried with this sequel bcuz I hate quitting things but this was just painful and tacky. should have known from the first book but I was determined to see the outcome. sadly disappointed 😞 I now feel like I could write a book 📖 😕

Suspenful and capativing. Unbelievablly phenomenal writing techniques. Shockingly vile with highly motivate volience... The author did an excellent job of creating so much unexpected anticipation which was quite incredibly intriguing.
I was fascinated on how strong Destiny Clark was...although she contracted HIV and AIDS from Hassism Clark. She constantly stayed positive, focused, and compassionate. I love the powerful storyline and how supportive Spencer and her Mom was.
I also admired the authenticity of overflowing genuineness of the creation of the supporting characters, Amiyna, Josiah, Imani, and Tanya.
