bought this because i liked the cover but i didn’t really enjoy the story at all 😕. there were a lot of references to songs by The Cure who i don’t listen to so maybe that’s why i didn’t like it 🤷🏼‍♀️.

This was the first book by Hurd/Gill, and probably my favorite. It's simpler than its longer prequel, and perhaps a little lighter on plot, but it's very emotional, in that tight-as-a-drum, loose-as-a-goose way that adolescence can be.
