I don't know what to think about this book. Honestly, it could have been both 1 star and 5 stars; so I went in the middle-ish. I really do not know. It's like half horror/half comedy gold. I think it's like worryingly funny and hilariously alarming. -That's the only way I can try to express it. I wasn't in it for the romantic relationship at all, just the author's humor.
I think I read this like 2 years ago but I STILL get replies on my comments on wattpad. I just got reminded of this when someone tried to argue with me on wattpad. I remember very little of this but i remember hating this.
The author was racist, homophobic and I think abliest as well. I also remember this one scene where the MMC had sex with a drunk FMC knowing full well she wouldn't be happy with it if she was sober. I remember commenting that he raped her and people trying to start shit with me.
The author also replied to one of my comments telling people not to read this and I remember being so mortified but they actually agreed with me. I don't think the author is ignorant anymore but these books should be held accountable and just because its dark romance and the mafia, it doesn't excuse all the bigotry in this.
I just really hope the author is more informed about certain topics now.
The author could have done so much more to the story. I mean the back story of the main character and the ending, don't even talk about it. Either the story could have been long but at least it should have some end. I was so much into the story but it disappointed me.
In fact, the author could have spiced up the end scene.
Dnf at 26%. Some of the dialogues were too primitive and childish to read. The storyline developed too rapidly, it felt weak and unnatural, like skipping 20 pages and then continuing on.
i read this on wattpad like two or three months ago and i didn’t even finish the book cause i got bored after they got married or engaged(idk, i don’t remember which one) but i’m still going to write a review. i kinda hated all the male characters cause they mistreated women but at least the writing was good and i think i liked the protagonist but idk cause i did read it a while ago and i’ve read so many books since then.

I had actually no idea that there are wattpad books on goodreads lmao. I've read this book a while ago, but it had me good. It's a classical mafia story, but the tension between Calla and Sinister makes up for it. And her character develops so much and she becomes so powerful that I really enjoyed this book. One think I didn't like about it was her "friendship" with Afanas, and the sexism of the male characters, but as I've said before it is a classical mafia wattpad story
Calla and Sinister!!!😫 If you're into mafia romance, do read this book. Once I started reading it, I couldn't keep it down. So engaging story and very strong protagonists. The perfect amount of drama, romance and steamy scenes. One more thing that I love about this book is the development of Calla's character, she becomes so powerful. A classic mafia romance. I really enjoyed the book.💯
It was great. I couldn't believe a Wattpad book could be soo good. It is worth the hype. But... Why can't things end well in Wattpad books? Ik, I've read only two, but still, why can't I read a happily ever after. It's been so long. Thank God that there is a second book. I hope Sin and Calla patch things up. Also I love Calla so effing much. Now I gotta go and munch(food).

This story was slow to begin with, but became increasingly enticing to the point where I could not put it down. I feel like the ending was incomplete, I wanted- for lack of a better word- more. I wanted to know more than what I was told; it came to a point where I just couldn't put this book down. Over all, this novel deserves a high rating because it was deliciously good.
Definitely a rollercoaster of emotions, with an interesting beginning that drew me in. As a few things transpired more than once though, I had to remind myself this character was still slightly young. All in all, this book held my attention, with no skipping forward boredly, and left me looking forward to the sequel.
one of my favourite mafia stories. this book had smut 🌶, adventure, comedy, romance and sadness mixed together and i loved it. i can’t even describe the jokes i remember that i couldn’t breathe because of laughing so hard.
I remember reading this book on Wattpad and just being... OBSESSED. Calla is such a strong lead character and such a captivating story, constantly keeps you on your toes
Started soo good. I was loving it. Calla gets kidnapped and sold to a mafia leader. Everyone treats her like a slut and the plot revolves around her standing up for herself amongst these hungry men, emphasising on how she is not a prostitute to be used and thrown away. Until one day the male character touches her and she starts behaving like a slut, degrading herself and begging him to fuck her by justifying how she is a prostitute and she was bought to do this, she is meant to do this.
I still gave this book a room for character development, for some improvement, but stupid enough for me to assume that wattpad writers for once will focus on plot and emotions rather than smut.
