Was a bit let down with this latest installment in the My Harem Academia series. One thing I hate is for an author to change the facts between one book and another. The timeline of the conception and birth of the egg was changed from the last book to this one and that bothered me. I also felt like the whole series ended anticlimactically. Also, I kept forgetting throughout the series that these students were 30-year-old adults and not teenagers. They were written much younger than their actual ages. All in all, I thought the overall series was okay. Not great and not really worth the money I spent on it.

A great ending to the series

The blurb does not do the story justice. This book has so much more. First there is Lucien guilty and devastated that his two mates are petrified and Tiberius and Wade holding him together. Then there is Lucien giving birth to an egg, everyone protecting the egg and their secret till they can change the academy rules. There is hate a fear toward Lucien for what he is and what happened during the trials. Then two enemies from the past come back and almost ruin everything. There is love, compassion, hope, danger, excitement, fear and justice. This book has a very HEA and was a short, but great read.

Sigh - if it wasn’t for the timeline inconsistency this wouldn’t have been a bad installment to the series. But I really just can’t get past it! Besides that, I felt this one was slower paced and I’m not a fan of that. Regardless, this series just wasn’t for me.
