The Genesis Trilogy as a whole is a project that focuses on grief, and how our understandings of ourselves and the world we live in are changed as we brush paths with grief for the first time. Eden primarily explores the angry stage of coming to terms with a friends suicide. Anger with yourself, anger with the systems surrounding the person and failed to help them, and anger towards a world that keeps plugging along without them.
