Rate this book
Evie Wane was born and raised in Eden, a beautiful remote safe haven for the last of the female gender. It was all she knew until the corrupt dictator, Velma Nexiv, forced her out of refuge and into the masculine world, to capture an enemy from the past. Evie ventures out and stumbles upon Sailors, Indiana where she comes across Adam Vally and Sable Raefall. Life on the outside is an adventure, filled with fresh feelings, and new relationships. Evie learns on her quest that God is gracious, kind, and has a tendency to make diamonds out of dust.

This is a great book and it fits the world set up in "The Era of Eve" so well, but at the same time it gives us a new world view. I loved the characters and the story, it's fantastic and I can't wait for the next book.

Spoilers under here

Even though we get a good look into the background of characters from "The Era of Eve" this book does not lack in new characters.

I loved Ruth, her character was timid and strong at the same time. She provided insight into the slave rings that many women live in in this world.

Dexter was one of my favorite new characters, I loved how much he reminded me of Bo from the original book. He is so much fun and I fell in love.

Sable returned as easily my favorite character, the way his father treated him was terrible and still he was funny and kind. Everything he went through in this makes his actions in "The Era of Eve" much more powerful. And the reveal that Rider was Ruth's SON was amazing!!!!!!

Adam reminded me of Leah and that was great, and his meeting with Evie was so much fun!!! I laughed so hard!

Evie was quite the road trip, she was very different than what I thaught she would be but I loved her anyhow.
