When I found out that this author was going to write a Vampire series - not only a Vampire series but an Archangel Vampire Series I couldn't wait until the first book was written. I was not disappointed. The way she wrote the characters in the story - very detailed and believable almost being able to reach out and touch them. This books centers around Jaxon a fallen Archangel who is condemned to earth to live the life he is to live. Maitlin a bartender just left her cheating boyfriend and trying to forget him. The universe seems to have a different idea and puts Jaxon and Maitlin together and wanting each other. The chemistry between them is hot and steamy until Maitlin is taken away - now Jaxon must fight to get her back. All the twists and turns this author takes you on will have you reading as fast as you can turn the pages. I highly recommend this book to everyone. Jennifer Fields' style of writing - the development of her characters, the detailed storylines she writes and the plots that she creates is so real and amazing. Can not wait to read the next installment in this series.

I won't lie that it took a little bit to get into this story but once I was hooked I couldn't stop. Jax is a fallen blood angel who has lived a long time and has been very cautious in life. Maitlin is just getting out of a relationship with her cheating ex-fiancé. Jax and Maitiln are drawn together. They will face a lot in order to uncover some hidden secrets. Will they be able to overcome this and have a happy ending? You need to read to find out.

This is the first book that I have read by Jennifer Fields, and I daresay it won't be the last.
The story is centered around Jaxon, a fallen Archangel, and Maitlin, a bartender who has just left her cheating ex. Theirs is an instant attraction that both try to fight.
The further into the book you get the more questions arise, and things aren't always what they seem.
The twists and turns will keep you hooked until the very end where you'll say... didn't see that coming.

This is a unique and entertaining book.

Fire & Attitude when best
Jaxon is book 1 in the "Blood Angel Chronicles". From page 1 Jennifer Field put a spell on me... I could not put the book down. The story was full of drama, attraction, some graphic violence, sexy time and quirky but interesting characters. Jaxon & Maitlin made an interesting couple, loved the fire & attitude Maitlin had. Looking forward reading the next book

I new take on fallen angels !
This book kept me intrigued from beginning to end. The characters for so well written that you couldn't help but root for them. I like the little plot twists that kept it going. As an avid reader, it takes a lot to surprise me in a story line but I have to say wow! Well then Jennifer field and I can't wait for the next book.

I’m not a huge reader of vampire books but I chose to read this as I liked the cover art and the blurb, it’s a new author to me and so I was looking forward to the book. I was not disappointed! I really enjoyed reading this book and also loved the characters. A great book to read.

Absolutely FANTASTIC
I love to read!! I am addicted to reading. My first literary love was vampires! This book is everything that I love about the paranormal world!! Blood Angels ,shifters , and so much more!! I could not stop reading this and I can NOT wait to read the next one. A new author to me but I will definitely be reading more. I loved this book.

Vampires, shapeshifters, immortals and humans....all in one novel
I'm not normally a fan of the paranormal, but I fell in love with Jaxon almost immediately. He was written powerfully and very believable. He was the perfect hero...albeit with fangs.

On Jason & Maitlain
First book from this Author for me and you will not be disappointed. A definite page turner. Great story line. The build up and suspense is amazing.
