Rate this book
A dragon shifter must fake a proposal with his virgin neighbor, to save her from a forced marriage.

The Virgin Mate
My family wants to trade me like a piece of property.
And force me to marry a cruel man who only wants my virginity.
I flee, and find refuge in Texas.
I get lucky, because my next-door neighbor is a sexy doctor.
When I break my arm, my handsome doctor mends the bone, and when my father sends a thug to kidnap me, my gorgeous doctor rescues me.
He promises to marry me, to protect me from the mob.
We host a fake wedding,
But when he touches me, my passion is real.
Our marriage might be pretending, but there is nothing fake about how much I want this smoking hot man.

The Irish Doctor
Thirteen years ago, my dragon shifter tribe was decimated by witches.
I followed my brother to the States to start a new life.
I miss my Irish home, but I’ve settled in Texas, as a doctor to humans.
The best part of my home is my neighbor, a beautiful young woman.
When a man breaks in, and tries to abduct her, I rescue her.
She confesses her secret.
She’s a virgin, and her family is forcing her to marry.
I vow to protect her, and fake a proposal.
Despite the fake marriage, this woman is my mate, but I hide the truth about my heritage.
Her family sends the mafia after us, and I will do anything to protect her.
Even if it reveals the truth about who I am.

Can an Irish dragon shifter protect his virgin bride from her past?

What do you get when you mix dragon shifters and the Romanian mafia? A fan-freaking-tasting story!! From an arranged marriage to running for her life Juliana escapes from Boston to a little town in Texas to start over. That’s were she meets Quinn her next door neighbor and the town’s doctor. Quinn takes one sniff of her and realizes she is his mate. Will she be able to to put her past behind her? Will Quinn tell her his secret after she tells him hers? I can’t wait for the next installment of this gripping series!!

Another fantastic read by Brittany White in the Irish Dragon Shifter Brother's series. She once again brings strong characters and weaves an entertaining story filled with drama, action and tons of emotions. She does a great job developing the story and bringing it to life with her vividly painted scenes. It's well written, moves quickly and smoothly and had me glued to the pages from start to finish. I loved and would highly recommend this book/series!

I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. All opinions in this review are my own and freely given.

Loved it. Mafia and dragon shifters... hell freaking yes!! You won't be disappointed with picking up the second book of the series. It was great. The action, romance, and the ties to the mafia. Both lead characters are strong. Even the characters behind the scenes tie in it all nicely with the first too.

I liked this book there many characters traits that I just didn't like. 1. Quinn constantly is saving Juliana. 2. Juliana "saying she can't trust" Quinn because he didn't tell her that he was a Dragon. He was a DRAGON!! for goodness sake, supernatural beast that entire people was massacre because they helped humans. She acting like it was such offense just because she told him about her family. Juliana is naive that it literally irritates me. At 85% I wondering why this book hasn't end yet, we fought the bad guys,

Running from the heat, into the fire

Julianna was to be handed over to a brutish beast, fifteen years her senior. She hadn’t been asked, given a choice, nor would she be allowed one. Her family was Romanian mafia, she had been bought the moment she was born. Now at twenty-five her parents had the right to trade her to Mihal Bereanu, a Russian mobster, to finalize a merger between their businesses.
They may expect her to follow the old ways, children obeying without question, but Julianna had been raised in a free country and she had no intention of being bound to their life of crime or to a thug for the rest of her life. So, she ran. As fast and as far as she could. Right into Quinn Walsh’s arms, after taking a fall from a ladder and breaking her arm. She had thought her self safe for a time when she landed in Cedar Lake, Texas. What she hadn’t known was that Quinn and his four brothers, in arms, were dragon shifters. And Quinn had just found his mate, whom he would protect with his life.
Both had secrets that they were slow to share. So when one of her father’s thugs came after her, it was Quinn who rushed to her aid. Slowly, she must tell him about her family and her fear they would come for her again. It was Julianna who proposed that they marry, a marriage of convenience. It had to be real to prevent Mihal from coming for his virgin bride. However Quinn, was bound to silence about his shifting abilities, until he could be sure Julianna would not share their tale with other humans.
Quinn and his three brothers, in arms, if not in blood, had lost most of their family back in Ireland when a coven of witches set out to destroy them. I loved him from the first, a gentle giant, who practiced medicine with humans, since dragons health was almost indestructible.
Julianna, was tough, she wanted her freedom and though she was drawn to Quinn, was even grateful for saving her from being brought back to her father, she wasn’t sure she was ready to take on a husband.

The story was well told with a bit of history on both sides of the main characters being told. There are times of danger, feelings of angst on both sides, love slowly building and hard won trust with an HEA. And I hope more tales of the other three brothers to come. The tale is one that doesn’t bog down, and can be read quickly. If you enjoy dragon shifters, some dark history, a touch of spice with open doors and a love for always, check out “Doctor Dragon’s Fake Bride” by Brittany White.

**********Contains Spoilers**********

I enjoyed this book but like the first book I found some of Juliana and Quinn’s interactions to be a bit stilted. Juliana escapes the Romanian Mafia aka her family, after she found out that she being used as a bargaining chip between families and she’ll be forced to marry a man whose a complete psycho and also 15 years her senior. Juliana has been sheltered for the last 25 years and is still a virgin. Juliana has been taught from a young age how to leave at a moments notice, so she grabs her go bag and leaves. She ends up in Cedar Lake, Texas and meets her hot neighbour, the town doctor Quinn when she falls off a ladder when she was trying to install security cameras around her house and hurts her arm. Quinn drives her to the clinic to get x-rays and confirm that it’s broken. He gives her some medication for the pain that makes her drowsy, so she ends up staying at his for the night so he can keep an eye on her. A few nights later Quinn is woken up by screaming and runs over to Juliana’s to find her on the ground with a massive guy on top of her, she’s trying everything to get away from him but nothing seems to be working.

Quinn gets the guy off her and scares the guy from coming back for her by using his strength to nearly crush the guys collarbone. Juliana admits that she escaped an arranged marriage set up by her family that are part of the Romanian Mafia. Quinn comes to her rescue once again, by offering to enter into a fake relationship with her but they’ll have to get legally married so her family knows that she’s now married. Quinn realises that Juliana is his mate, so none of it is fake from his point of view but does Juliana think the same? It annoyed me when Juliana found out about Quinn and his brothers being dragon shifters, she didn’t know if she could trust him ever again for keeping it from her but it’s not exactly a small thing to tell someone and considering Quinn and his family are hiding out from the witches that want to k*ll them, like they m*ssacred most of their clan. Plus, how many times throughout the book did Quinn and his brothers help her including save her life. Will she ever be able to trust him again? I’m looking forward to reading Liam’s story next. I’d recommend this book, series and author to everyone.

Juliana is twenty-five-years old and she has just been told that she is to be married to a man that is fifteen years older than her. She has been taught how to leave without a sound and she knows that if she stays her life will not be her own. She flys to Dallas, Tx, and then buys a ticket to L.A. but she never gets on the plane. She ends up in a little town of Cedar Lake, Tx and there she meets Quinn when she falls and breaks her arm. Quinn in a dragon shifter and the town doctor. Quinn has Juliana stay with him while she is under pain meds. Julian tells Quinn some of the reasons why she is there in Cedar Lake and they come up with a plan that may stop her father from coming for her. As Juliana and Quinn spend time together her feeling grow for him. After they come back from Ireland, Kellan tells Quinn that the security they hired has told him that her father's has got a group coming for her and they know where she is. Before Quinn can tell her that he is a dragon shifter, Kellan's home is attacked and their four friends turn into dragons. This upsets Juliana and now tells him that she can not trust him now.
Will Juliana be able to forgive Quinn for not telling her that he was a dragon shifter?
Will Quinn ever get Julian to trust him again and come back home to him?
This was a wonderful book and I would recommend it to anyone.
I received an ARC of this book for my voluntarily and honest review.

💢Kellan, Quinn, Liam and Brennan fled the old country Ireland, seventeen years ago they lost everything they held dear to them, (when the Witches attacked ). They looked around America and decided to move to Texas.
🔹️Quinn Walsh always says he is a DragonShifter first - then a Doctor second. He helped his next door neighbor, like real life things change fast. Can he hold his dragon back let alone hold himself back.
🔹️Juliana Costeau after eating dinner on her 25th Birthday her parents ordered her to marry a old business acquaintance, this was an eye opener for her. But there is no way that she was going to marry for her parents, only for love, only for herself. So she takes off doing all sorts of things so that she cannot be traced or followed, she end up at Cedar Lake. Dating a Doctor was the best medicine of all?. Life was good till they found her!
☄️ This review is my own opinion, this author is one that I love to read her books.

I received an ARC copy of this book! It was an amazing follow up to the first book of the series!

Juliana was a sweet, smart yet sometimes naive young woman. She didn’t see things for what there were until it was too late. She had to choice but to do what needed to be done.

Quinn was in a good place in his life. He often wondered what it would be like to have his mate by his side but with running a clinic and keeping an eye on some evil witches, he wasn’t sure he could add anything else to his plate.

Fate stepped in and took over and the outcome was perfect.

This book is filled with joy, laughter, love, and tears. I love how the brothers who aren’t really brothers step up to the plate and lend their hands with no questions asked. Their secret is forced to be exposed but you have to do what needs to be done in order for everyone to survive. I love the bond that Juliana, Clara, and Kate have all formed. Declan is still a ball of fire waiting to be unleashed!

I enjoyed reading Juliana and Quinn’s story and I’m patiently awaiting the next installment.

The second book in this series about a tribe of dragons who fled Ireland to live in Texas, USA. This enjoyable story is about Quinn a dragon shifter and a human doctor and Juliana a human who is running away from a forced marriage. Juliana did the bookkeeping of her family business which is connected to the Romanian Mob. When her parents arrange her to marry an older man, she runs away and ends up in Texas as Quinn's next door neighbor. When Juliana is installing security cameras on her rental house she falls off the ladder and breaks her arm then Quinn helps her up and takes her to his practice. When he smells her he knows that she's his mate but will he have a chance with her? When someone tries to abduct her Quinn steps up and he pretends to be engaged to her and has his friends and himself protecting her. When Juliana discovers he a dragon shifter, does she accept him? This story is steamy, action packed and with likable characters and a enjoyable story to read and review. ARC

The second installment for the series brings Juliana, an accountant from Romania who lives with her parents in Boston into the lives of the dragons. Her family is in with the Romanian and Russian Mafia. They have chosen a husband for her; but she is not having it! She escapes and decides to settle in their town. Quinn, the doctor, is her next-door neighbor and he finds her in an awkward situation. She has broken her arm and he take her to the clinic to treat her. He knows she is for him; but how to tell her everything is the problem. She tells him everything after he saves her from an attack and they plan to marry. Things will go smoothly until a mob of them show up at Kellan’s house to finish the job! Will they all escape unharmed? What will she do when she discovers their secrets? I received this as an ARC and am leaving a voluntary review.

Who is Juliana Costeau? What do we learn about her? What is special about the day at the start of the book? What bombshell is dropped on her and by whom? When she leaves, then comes back before going home, to say something to the person that dropped the bombshell, what does she overhear and then ultimately realize? What does this prompt her to do? Oh goodness, I did not expect some of the things that happened in this book! I will say this though, for the times that I had available to read with working 10-12 hour days, I could not put this book down! It was INTENSE!

This entertaining dragon shifter romance drew me in from the first page and kept me captivated until the end. The characters have good chemistry & portray realistic emotional feelings throughout the well-developed, interesting plot.
There is: a young woman (Juliana) on the run from her family’s unscrupulous plans & settles in a small town (Cedar Lake) & comes into contact with her next-door neighbor & town doctor (Quinn) who unknown to her is also a dragon shifter naturally her family tries everything to enforce her compliance, dragon shifters, mafia, vampires, an arranged marriage, family issues, mates, intrigue, drama, suspense, twists & turns, action, adventure, devious plans, threats, danger, enemies, violence, confrontation, deceit, trust issues, surprises, love, contentment, steamy scenes & well-deserved satisfying conclusion.

Great second book! Juliana lived with her parents who are part of the Romanian and Russian mafia. They arranged for her to marry an older man who she didn’t want to marry. She decided she wasn’t having anything to do with it and left Boston and ended up in Texas and Quinn’s neighbor. Quinn is a dragon shifter doctor who helps her out and with one sniff he knows she’s his mate. But how does one tell a human that they’re your mate? And what will she do when she finds out he’s a dragon shifter?

Her past comes for her, which one should expect with the mafia. What will happen to Juliana and Quinn? Will they be able to survive much less be together?

I received this as an ARC and this is my honest and voluntary review.

I love this series. Julianna is running from her Romanian crime family and she ends up in a small town in Texas. She soon meets Quinn a doctor and her next door neighbor. When she falls and breaks her arm and has no one to help her until it heals she stays at Quinn’s house. But as soon as she is home, a man sent by her father to bring her back, breaks into her house. But Quinn hears and saves her. Now the only way to stop her family from forcing her to marry and aged crime boss is to be married already and Quinn volunteers. But what she doesn’t know is he is a dragon shifter and she is his mate. What will happen when she finds out? I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

From Runaway to Married

Juliana is told by her parents that she was to be married. When she found out who she was supposed to marry she decided she had to get away. So later she went back to her parents and got a bag she had packed with a few items of clothing and some money in. She then got as much money as she could and got and a ticket to fly to Dallas from there she bought another ticket so they would think she had moved on. She hitched a lift from a young couple and when they stopped for something to eat she decided to stay in that town. She got a house next to Quinn who was a doctor but also a Dragon shifter. This is a good read if you like Dragon stories can’t wait to read the next book.

Dragons and vampires vs the mafia.

Juliana had no idea her parents were major players in the Romanian mafia. Until she's told she WILL marry another influential mobster 15 yrs older and cruel. She runs away to Cedar Falls, Tx. Quinn Walsh, his brothers, Kellan, Liam and Brennan are dragon shifters that left Ireland for Texas after witches killed most of their clan. Quinn is the small town's doctor and lives next door to Juliana. He takes to her immediately so when she is attacked in her home, Quinn saves her. They will fight to keep the mafia from taking her back. This is an exciting book and I loved it!

Short but sweet

Quinn and Julianna were drawn to each other from the beginning. Story is short but sweet. With her on the run from her crazy mafia family who think they can use her as a bargaining chip for more money and power. But he has a secret too one much bigger than a criminal family history. Only thing I didn’t like was **spoiler** how long she had drawn out being mad at him when she learns the truth. I get it he kept a secret when she had bared all but come on this is a little bit more intense. And holding on to being mad for weeks at a time select water from him is ridiculous.

Quinn and Julianna

Julianna’s parents, members of the Romanian mob, want to force her to marry an older mob boss against her will. In a desperate move, she flys away to Texas to flea this fate, then hitchhikes a ride to a small town in an effort to hide. There she meets her neighbor, Quinn, the town’s only doctor, after taking a fall and breaking her arm.
The story revolves around their growing relationship and her fear of being discovered and forced to marry the Romanian boss man.
I give this book a 3.5 rating, a decent story to enjoy on a long night in front of the fireplace.

I really like Quinn, and I'm really annoyed by Juliana. I get it though, she was a pampered mafia princess who didn't realize she was considered chattel by her parents. Fleeing from an arranged marriage to thug ... she ends up in a small town in Texas.

She settles in (not sure where she got all her money, when there was only $200 in her go-bag), and ends up moving next door to Quinn. She falls off the roof, and Quinn's there to patch her up and nurse her back to health.

There's a bit more relationship build up in this book, but a very naïve Juliana heads back to her house. Runs into "family" trouble, and Quinn saves her once again. Quinn does a lot of that throughout the book. She has severe trust issues once she finds out he's a dragon shifter. MUCH drama on her side, and quiet acceptance on Quinn's part.

I'm definitely interested in the next two brothers, so I'll continue on to the next book.

Been reading so many books with unfair double standard between for the h lately, and this was one of them! Juliana freaks at Quinn because he didn't tell her he was a dragon. Ummm that's not something you just tell someone on a whim? And considering he saved her ass like 15 times, she could have tried to be a little more understanding. Poor guy deserved better.

Still, 3 stars because that's my rule if I'm going to continue a series, and I think I will with this one. I like the other brothers enough to want to read their stories.

Doctor Dragon's Fake Bride

Great story. Loved how the story was about a young woman that suspected her parents being in the Romanian Mafia and they tried to sell her to someone older in the organization. When Juliana was told about it, she ran away trying to figure out how they could not find her.
She ends up in a small town and while trying to take precautions, she ends up hurting herself and her neighbor finds her and he is the towns doctor. Juliana mafias family does find her and I love the extents everyone goes thru to keep her safe.

Never Truly Fake

From the moment dragon shifter Quinn Walsh stumbles across his next door neighbor Juliana Cousteau he's got it bad. He's handsome, generous, thoughtful and a beloved town doctor. But she's a woman on the run from her corrupt family. It doesn't take long for our two heroes to become embroiled in each other's lives. Intrigue, criminality and secrets all conspire to tear these two apart. Will they find true love with each other? Can Juliana overcome her mistrust? Will Quinn win over his true mate? Reading this book is a fun and exciting way to find out.

Good read but this should have been book 1

A little confused this was book 2 and not 1. Since Kellan and Clara were married and no mention of their baby. Book1 didn't mention Quinn had a baby. But Clara was pregnant when they went to the hospital to see Quinn and Julianne 's baby. Oh well I would still recommend the series. I would have liked a book 3 and 4 about the other 2 shifters

Honesty is the best policy

When Quinn meets Julianna he is taken with her sweetness and after fixing her broken arm he offers her his home as safe haven while it heals. After saving her from a kidnapping she tells him about her life however Quinn does not tell her about his dragon nature. When the truth comes out in an unexpected way she cannot forgive him. It takes a lot of soul searching but eventually the two do manage to reconcile.

Loved It

Julianna's parents has informed her it's time for her to get married. They have already made the arrangements. This will be a benefit to the family. The groom is fifteen years older than Julianna. No way. Julianna decides to run away, she ends up in Cedar Lake living next door to Dr. Quinn. This story has the cartel, attempted kidnapping, attempted murder, vampires, and of course dragons.
