Invaders of the Rokujouma Volume 3 can also be called That One Part in Every Harem Light Novel Series in Which They All Go to the Beach. This volume was one big cliche, but it was still fun to read.
Volume 3 literally had all the cliches possible: The girls win a lottery in a shopping district. The girls go to the beach. The girls go to the hot springs. The ghost girl gets kidnapped...? Yes, that was the only part of this entire book that hasn't already happened in every other series. Thankfully, it was the main plot point of this story, which made it actually pretty good.
The writing style is still consistent and the characters are still interesting and are being developed with each volume. I love all of the heroines, and I know that Rokujouma has a lot of time and volumes to improve on its relationships between the main characters. So Volume 3 wasn't the best book in this series so far-- I personally think Volume 2 has stood out the most-- but hopefully the time of ccountless cliches is at least somewhat over.
Invaders of the rokujouma vol 3: The series is slowly getting better by the volume. This volume was the "Beach episode" and even though I really liked the first half the rest of the book felt like a giant cliche.
This series is getting better. The first two volumes were mostly nonsense, not sure why I read them actually. This one on the other hand, I really enjoyed. It is still a super light read, which fits my mood, but has more substance than the earlier two volumes.
I keep hearing how good this series gets and with 30 books out I guess I'll keep reading.
