“Don’t touch me like that if you don’t mean it.”

Rémy- One fateful night on the stage of the Royal Opera House, my life was irrevocably changed. Midway through a performance, and in front of thousands of fans, my voice failed me. Instead of giving up, I swore I’d forge a new path. Two years later, my voice was better than ever, and thanks to an old schoolmate, Serge Kuznetsov, I signed a lucrative contract with the Virginia Opera that came with many perks. This included an alluring personal assistant, Gray Wyatt.
I’d kissed Gray, a mistake a boss should never make with an employee. The feeling of his body trembling in my arms, and the moans that came deep from within his chest, played on repeat in my heated imagination. It didn’t matter where I was, or what I was doing, the memory of that forbidden kiss haunted me.

Gray- When I first moved to Richmond, I envisioned a happy future filled with love and excitement. Instead, my alcoholic boyfriend dumped me, and I was fired from my crappy retail job. I was tempted to throw in the towel, but Lady Luck had one more curveball to throw at me. A new job, as personal assistant to a hypnotic opera singer who made every fiber of my being throb with desire.
Insane tension burned between us. I thought it was my imagination, but I’d swear he wanted me too. Whenever I touched Rémy, his skin would flush, and his breathing would become ragged. There was a boundary I longed to cross, but I didn’t dare. He was my boss, and I wasn’t about to lose my job. I kept my paws to myself, until one fateful night backstage when Rémy blew through that boundary, and I longed for him more than ever.

The Boundary is a feverish tale of two men who dared to follow their hearts. It is book five in The Boys of Oregon Hill Series, and it’s set in the same world as the bestselling novel Mr. Mouthful. Like the other books in the series, you can read it as a stand-alone novel.

I really enjoyed the other book I read in this series. This was just ok. I really didn’t grow attached to either Remy or Gray.

When you think you lose everything, the conten of your character is revealed. This is my first book in the series. I can see I missed a lot. Remy, classical singer, loses his voice. This is the most absolutely devestating disaster that can happen to a singer. He took a couple of years to recover, under Elise, then he's ready to perform. He was lucky enough to get a 2 year contract, with not much money, but a promise of a personal assistant. Gray, was degreedand working under his potential, but his skill was recognized. He gets a job as a personal assistant to Remy. He learns the job as he goes while fignting an immense attraction to Remy. Your kindle may get hot from the heat generated by Remy and Gray's attraction to each other. Gray is carryng steamer trunk sized luggage with a harrassment cloud hanging over him. Remy is single minded. Do either of them step out of their comfort zone? Will Remy sing again? Can Gray keep it together? Good story. I didn't want this story to end. Good character development and growth. Nicely done. I received an ARC from Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

What happens when you kiss the man who is your employee?
Remy Grosjean - Suffered the biggest scare of any opera singer, voice failure. After being given a second chance on his career as an opera singer. He signed a lucrative contract for the Virginia Opera House. The one perk he finds the most alluring? His new personal assistant. Not every aspect of the job is supposed to be at his disposal.

Grant Wyatt - dealt a crappy hand. What was supposed to be his happily ever after turned out to be a hot mess from one moment to the next. Relocating for a boyfriend to turned out to be a nightmare. Being unemployed at the same time can force you to give up. His luck changed for the better. Finally able to pick himself up and get his life together.

Grant accepts a position with the desirable opera singer, Remy. What can possibly happen? Everything!

Another great read in the Oregon Hill Boys series.

I loved this book!! The MCs Remy and Gray were great. Remy an Opera singer lost his voice and it took over 10 years for him to come back to the stage. Gray is his PA and they fall in love. It takes a little of back and forth but the make it. For me what stole the show was Serge!! The character in the first book "Mr. Mouthful". Serge is Remy friend and he helps the MCs get together. When he has to deliver both Remy and Gray to an interview he decides to drive them. It is just freaking hilarious, his driving is atrocious and the reactions from Remy/Gray had me LMAO!!! The only thing that had me bothered was when Gray was fired from his job because of jealousy and being accused of something he did not do. HR knew he was in the right but did nothing because to keep their reputation. It's a must read for me.

This was what I needed!!!

This was such a delight to read. My heart went out to Remy right from the beginning. And Gray. Poor sweet Gray. These two guys needed each other that’s for sure. Gray brings Remy to life. In doing so Gray finds his inner strength. Emotionally beautiful and funny, I had a blast reading this. I am so glad I got an arc to read. I missed Serge’s craziness and we got to see some of that again. And yes we even got some drama because we all know how it can be at the Virginia Opera. And when you reach the end...yep definitely will warm your heart.

I was excited to read this story, being a lover of classical music and opera it would be a neat ' behind the curtains' peek. I was not disappointed. An amazing story of love, forgiveness, a splattering of operatic life, just perfect. Remy struggles, he's had a life that discounts time for love, and then the horror of losing his voice. Gray longs for the job he trained for, does he have to give up love for that opportunity? Just wonderful stuff.

4.5 stars The book has a simple plot where you can guess what’s going to happen next pretty easy but I enjoyed the time I spent reading it. The characters are lovable and caring and very real with all their flaws and struggles.
I would recommend it as a cozy evening read for those who prefers boos/employee relationships and mm romance as a general 😊
