This was a short love story between Maverick and Grace. Their attraction and chemistry were off the charts immediately. I know it is just a book but I didn’t care for Mavericks disposition and view of women at first. Glad he realized he would not get Grace by acting as he normally does towards women. Also the roommate can’t get mad at him when he never had the guts to tell Grace how he felt.
Character backgrounds could’ve been more detailed but I understand this was a short story so no time for that.
Good story overall, looking forward to my next Pandora Snow read.

This is a short and sweet instant love story about Maverick, a ladies man and Grace, a beautiful woman. While out one night Maverick bumps into a beautiful woman then the next morning they bump into each other again. Grace sets some ground rules and Maverick agrees, they go on several dates and enjoy their time together. Maverick’s roommate discovers that the woman is his patient he’s been in love with and never made a move on and loses his mind. Things go down hill for all 3 of them. Maverick can’t take it and after a week he goes to bear his soul and ask for forgiveness. A quick journey to love. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

This was a pretty decent read. I enjoyed the characters, I enjoyed the story as a whole. Its a quick read so if you only have an hour to read then this would be perfect. This is kind of a filler story, something to read in between longer books. It is kind of a feel good story. I like the male character Maverick. He had an interesting approach to dating, though he didn’t really date. I also like the female character Grace. Shes a sweet girl but she’s also kind of naïve. However, she brought out the best in Maverick, which is great. Its sad that Maverick and Patrick’s relationship was damaged because of it, but in the long run I think everything worked out the way it was supposed to.

An amazing love story that is full of up and downs! That sadly puts two BFF against each other as they both fall for the same woman! Not realizing that the woman he is falling in love with is the same one is roommate keeps talking about! After an embarrassing misunderstanding, she refuses to be caught in the middle! Who wins, who loses? Or will both men have a broken heart? Do they really care about
Grace? Who will she choose? Guess you will have to see if anyone will have a happy ending!

Bumping Open Their Hearts -
Maverick was a proud horn dog, who would mount any woman he took a fancy to. Grace on the other hand was chaste and was looking for a partner for the long term. The sparks ignited when they bumped into each other, but their wonderful slow build of their relationship, showed they were meant to be together. It appears today is the day for reading sweet, heartwarming romance books and reading this book has been truly amazing.

I’m almost speechless at how bad this book is. Thankfully it was free but even then I wanted to give it back. The POV is in Maverick’s voice and it felt super creepy and almost predatory. If I was Grace and I met Maverick and heard the BS coming from his mouth, I’d seriously cringe and then run as fast as I could away from him. His inner dialogue was super creepy and this is honestly one of the worst books I’ve read this year, maybe ever.

We don’t pick up romance novels looking for an unpredictable, genre-bending read. We enjoy the happy endings & the journey that gets us to them. I can say that there are some an amazing, awe inspiring amount of creativity that can happen within that equation. Sometimes, stories are simply a fun, if predictable, way to spend an afternoon. If you’re looking for the latter, this is the book for you. No spoilers.

This guy is so creepy... The other characters are barely there, like he doesn't pay any attention to them (since we're in his POV). Utterly self-absorbed, and only thinks in terms of sex. Nobody is described, which bothers me. Things happen way too fast, and there's no real development. Made me think he's just acting the gentleman for a while, but he's gonna get bored and dump the girl the first chance he gets.

Falling Grace was well written, it just lacked the twists and turns the book had the potential for, it was straight to the point and leaving us wondering how things would have turned out between our main male character and his friend.

I can't say as I particularly liked the writing style or the lack of depth to the characters. There just seemed like there was so much missing from the story. But it's a romance, it's cleanly edited, and it has a plot that flows with an ending.

Normally I am a little skeptical of instant love stories. However the vulnerability that Maverick showed to Grace made the love seem real. His transformation from hound dog to a committed man is heard in his thoughts. He is a strong alpha who thinks he gets what he likes in one night stands until a bump into Grace changes everything.

Falling Grace is a quick read standalone romance. The want is there on Maverick's part but in wanting all of Grace, he is realizes he needs to be the gentleman she wants. Once their feelings are said, Maverick shows her how much he loves her with gusto. The best part is there is no cliffhanger just a happily ever after.
