If you were faced with a demon scarier than any you had encountered, would you run? What if this demon could look inside your soul and force you to do things you know are wrong?
Jason and his team face just such a danger when they travel to China to close the next portal. They meet new enemies and friends and discover that humans can be more evil than the legions of creatures from Hell.
To complicate matters, the tension in the love triangle with Sasha and Jeanette becomes a distraction to Jason, endangering everyone.
What will Jason do when faced with this army of evil? How will things end? Will the group close the portal in China?

A free trip around the world! The only problem is it’s full of demons. Ugh. This was a gory continuation of Jason’s quest with friends to rid the world of an accident his mother created. There are new demons, and old alike to scare you. There is conflict within the characters that compound. If you liked the first two, you will have to read this one. I’m already on IV: Japan. Oh, and there are some morals displayed.
Shattered World III: China is the third book in the Shattered World Series. While each book has had a concluded mission without a cliffhanger, it is still very much a series and should be read in order.
I would recommend this book for anyone 16ish or older. I'm definitely going to keep reading.
This is the 3rd re-release of what was previously The "Hell Gate" series Scott yet again has done an amazing job creating a masterful story I look forward to what is to come in the final two books which have us traveling to Japan then finally to the United States
