A worthy follower to the first trilogy and at just 1600 pages it was a breeze to read ;)
It continues the story nicely and the author continues to make us believe in the characters. Again it twists and turns and the ride may feel bumpy from time to time. But that is just part of the fun.
Towards the end - or rather - not far from the start all through the ending - the story is really tense with a lot happening on a short time scale. But that is perfectly fine. The author really pulls it off.
It does, however, only get 4 stars. Not because of the story itself, which is as amazing as in the first trilogy, but here and there the author slips and leaves in spelling and grammatical errors. Nothing really disturbing for the story, though, but still. It should take a lot to get 5 stars.
I enjoyed this very much, strange twists to the original story line, but somehow it all came together to give a warm fuzzy at the end... I can’t wait to dive into the next book!
I liked the story. In the second set I would like more attention to Emma. Also it would be nice to know that Henry would benefit from the alien science.
