Hope Valley #9

Love to Hate You

Rate this book
After her husband left her for her best friend, Hayden Young moved to Hope Valley looking for a fresh start for her and her daughter. The last thing she expected was to run into the man who had rocked her world in the middle of the wine section of the local grocery store. And no matter how many times she tells herself she hates the egotistical jerk, she can’t stop the tingle she feels every time she looks at him.

Micah Langford was a man who enjoyed the variety. He had absolutely no interest in finding one woman and settling down. Then a one-night-stand from his past—and the best sex of his life—came rolling into town, and the self-proclaimed bachelor started wanting more. The only problem is, she can’t stand the sight of him.

When hate gives way to fire, igniting a passion neither of them can deny, Micah finds himself thinking about the future—or more specifically, how he can fit Hayden into his. But when a case he’s working on heats up, and she starts asking questions he can’t answer, Hayden has a decision to make. She can either take a leap and put her trust in him, or she can let the secrets destroy them.

I've got a love/hate relationship with this author because she's enamored of community dick and ion like that. In her new series however she let go of the manwhore love so I allowed myself to briefly forget our history.... This book quickly cured me of that! I should've known I'd hate Micah tbh,in the blurb it literally says he "enjoyed variety" and the last time that phrase was used for a H was to describe Chase Keaton (Breathe by KA) who I hated with a passion!!!! but see I ignored the red flags and dove right in....and boy did I regret it! The manwhoring manchild that was Micah had me grinding my teeth till the bitter end!
Aside from Micah the relationship development in this mess about gave me high blood pressure! They went from a great ONS to an accidental encounter that led to him thinking she was a stalker and had followed him to his hometown.... I mean his dick is just that good! Then a stupid enemies period that was based off of that simple misunderstanding!!!! Then he decided he'd do anything to have her again and bam they're together.... Then simple miscommunication.... Separation again! Then words of wisdom from his friend and yup he's all in again! Jeeze this had all the maturity of a teen romance.
Anyways I was over the whole thing and skimmed to the end 🤷🏽‍♀️

Did I learn my lesson? Nope I'm currently slugging my way through the next book as I type this😭

Okay first and foremost, this is my favorite trope. The one where the wife finds herself alone because some doucheknuckle of a man (who is supposed to love her unconditionally) finds his way into the bed of another. This one has an added layer of YUCK but makes the glow up she feels even stronger. After 26 years of my alpha ahole I always think if he is to lose his mind and stray, I might have it in me to find me a little Micah loving LOLOL but seriously, gives me hope.

When the woman (Hayden in this instance) finds her voice, confidence and complete worthiness in her self and lives a better life for it...in walks Micah and all is ahole muscled glory and swwwooooooonnnnnn!!! I love everything Jessica Prince writes, I can't put into words how much her books mean to me. I devour them, every single time. I get kind of melancholy when I start one of her stories because I know I will finish it before I can blink, and then I smile because I remind myself I can re-read it when my purchased copy hits my kindle. I seriously have this discussion with myself EVERY BOOK! Jessica Prince continually and effortlessly delivers a perfect story of love, friendships, redemption and how much strength we can find within ourselves. Strong heroines, alpha males, adorable kids and a gang of women that support and fix each others crowns, holding them up and building a community instead of being petty haters. I love Hope Valley. I want to live in Hope Valley. If you haven't read Jessica Prince yet, I totally recommend you do. Her books are reading gold. You're welcome xo

It's okay.
Well written.
But nothing that hasn't been done before.

ONS then she moves to his town, not knowing he lives there.
Heroine is a single parent, hubby cheated with best friend.
Best read series in order.
One couple per book but enemy thread runs through series, crime in local community.
No intimate scenes other than the Hero and heroine.
Other man drama. Another man shows interest and her ex drama.

Since separation
The Hero who ' likes variety' isn't settling on a committed relationship.
'“Sounds good to me.” I needed a bourbon and a soft, warm woman to help shake off the ugliness I felt clinging to my skin like mist on a gray, rainy day.'
Then he sees his ONS woman at the bar.
So if he hadn't seen he'd have gone home with another woman?...

Others say about the Hero 'You’re a good man. I don’t buy for a second that you’re the Lothario you’re known around town to be.”'

'“So, he’s kind of private?”
“Not really. I mean, when he’s interested in a woman he has no problem showing it, but that hardly ever lasts longer than a night. Micah’s not really known around here for being the relationship type. He’s had too much fun being single, if you know what I mean.”
I could tell by her tone that she was only teasing, but there was no stopping that sinking sensation in the pit of my stomach. It was like swallowing a brick. “So, what you’re saying is he’s a player.”
Her eyes lit with understanding as she looked at me. Giving a slow shake of her head, she replied, “No. I wouldn’t say a player. He just liked the bachelor lifestyle. But, Hayden, no one has ever seen him with a woman how he was with you Saturday.'

Oh my, just when I didn’t think I could love the town of Hope Valley any more, Hayden’s grocery store breakdown, the reactions of everyone around her, and the lightning fast spread of its occurrence through the small town gossip chain ratcheted up my love another notch in Love to Hate You.

There’s just something about small town living—everyone knows everyone else’s business. And what happens with Hayden and Micah is no exception. Especially since they’re now living next door to each other—and Hayden’s aunt and daughter have no problem meddling and conniving to bring them together.

And there’s no denying their instant connection—evidenced by that one-night stand. That through some Fateful intervention, turned into many nights. **fans self**

But Hayden’s been hurt big time by her ex-husband. After realizing the lies the man told, and her best friend too, Hayden doesn’t trust easily. Or at all at this point. So, letting Micah into bed was a hell of a lot easier than letting him into her heart and finding a way to start to trust again. Especially when Micah’s job and a case he’s been working on heats up and he’s not able to share all the details with Hayden to put her at ease. And could potentially end what’s just getting started.

Wowza, I loved the spark and immediacy between Hayden and Micah. They balanced each other perfectly. And helped each other realize the past doesn’t dictate the future—if they don’t let it! ~ Missy, 5 stars

I swear to you guys that Jessica Prince is a book whisperer for me. Just days before this landing on my kindle I was asking in the blog's book club for a book that featuring a woman in her 30s to 40s that's starting over and finds a delicious man to meet all of her needs. And bam I get this book.

First you should know that I adore all books that Jessica writes and I usually devour them as soon as I get them. It's a real problem that I'm totally ok with as long as she keeps giving me the goods.

Love to Hate you hit everything I had asked for. Within the first few pages I found myself wanting to be the heroine's friend as she goes through the heartbreaking moment of finding out her husband has cheated on her with her best friend. That kind of betrayal rocked me and all I could think is oh I hope she gets her revenge in finding the hottest guy even if only for a moment.

And that she does with our hero Micah is one steamy AF one night stand. I couldn't wait to see when these two would inevitably meet again.

So when that one night stand turns out initially to be somewhat of a jerk I settled in for the show. And Prince kept me hooked throughout by giving me the funny, the adorable, the heartwarming and even the angsty moments.

Love to Hate You is a delicious story that show a woman can overcome heartbreak and betrayal of the worst kind to find a love that is worthy of her. It gave me all the jfdslajsdf feels.

Loved it, Devoured it, and now once again I wait for more from Jessica Prince.

After finding out her husband has been having an affair with her now ex-best friend, Hayden Young moves with her young daughter to Hope Valley to live with her Aunt. The night before she heads that way she finds herself have a mind blowing one night stand with a man named Micah.

Micah Langford is a cop working a difficult case and finds himself bumping into the woman he cannot get out of his mind in Hope Valley. Micah makes some misguided remarks to Hayden and he sees another fiery side of her that has Micah seeing her in a different life. He is a well established bachelor though is he willing to enter a relationship with the Hayden and her daughter who are quickly becoming his whole world? However, Hayden has been hurt before and Micah is not a font of information about himself, can she trust in him?

This was fantastic and I think the chemistry between Micah and Hayden is probably the most intense in the whole series. I absolutely loved this couple, it is one of those books you need to clear the calendar for the day and just enjoy reading. This book has a bit of everything you want in a romance book and more, the Aunt is a hoot. Unbelievably good.

Small town love story

I love these small town love stories. Add to it a one night stand trope, a cheating ex-husband with the best friend trope and a cute little girl named Ivy and the story is even better. I especially love the fact that Ivy calls Micah 'Mike' and he calls her 'Monster'.

Fuck. Me. I cannot express how much I loooooove Jessica Prince and all the beautiful words and characters she creates, writes. The Hope Valley series is by far my favorite from her to date with the Pembrooke series coming in to a close, close second.

Well we have traveled back to Hope Valley this go round for Micah and his lady, one of the newest residents of this charming little town and y'all, I was here for every single addicting word.

Love to Hate Me was a standalone contemporary, single parent, enemies to lovers-ish romance that hit me deep, deep in my heart and left me needing so much more from this town and the beautiful people that live here. This book was absolutely brilliant- steamy, swoony, a bit twisty at times, and completely unforgettable in every single moment.

This journey is Micah and Hayden's and what a journey it was. She's a newly single mom trying to navigate her new life and live for her child after she experiences a horrible betrayal. In walks irresistible Micah and she can't say no. After one night they never expect to see each other again until fate intervenes and shakes everything up.

She is the new face in town and he can't forget her, neither can she. Their chemistry is undeniable and every moment they share is epic. It is definitely gonna be a weeeeeee bit complicated and not easy in the slightest but them, they're worth it.

Coming back with every new release is like coming home and honestly, I hope this series NEVER ends. Run don't walk to grab this up and if Hope Valley is new to you, do yourself a favor and start from the beginning.

I highly recommend this book.

This book literally had my heart from the prologue! I was immediately pro Hayden no matter what the outcome of the story was going to be.

After starting fresh in Hope Valley, Hayden runs into her one night stand. Only this time, he's not too happy to see her.

Micah is ALL alpha and brings out the confidence in Hayden that she's been missing.

These two together probably make for some of the hottest scenes in Hope Valley.

Hayden's daughter, Ivy, and her aunt, Sylvia brought the humor and cuteness to give balance to the heat, drama and suspense.

I absolutely loved this story, but I love all of the Hope Valley series!

I can't wait to see what Jessica Prince has in store for Dalton and Charlie!

These two are pure fire!

4,5 stars

I can't say that enough, and I'm being repetitive: I'm crazy about this series.
After suffering a major deception from people who were supposed to love her, Hayden decides to start fresh, moving to Hope Valley with her daugther.
Hayden is a sweet, sassy woman, the mother of adorable Ivy. Even being wary and careful about her daughter and her own heart, this new life shows her that there are honest and good people out there, who will have her back no matter what. She finally experiences what loyalty, friendship and camaraderie are really like.
And to add to that amazing discovery, Micah will show her what is like to be truly loved.

Micah was definitely not expecting Hayden to come crashing into his comfortable and bachelor life. He felt good enough just seeking a good time here and there. But some things are way too explosive to just ignore.
One single encounter, and he is not the same anymore. Actually, neither of them.

And no matter how hard they fight against their feelings, how fiercely they try to protect themselves from being vulnerable, how many so called fights they have because it's easier then facing their chemistry, they can't deny that their feelings are growing without their trying.

Micah is full alpha, Hayden is pure sassiness. He is overprotective, she knows how to be stubborn. He is learning how to love, she is relearning how to trust. Together (counting with the help of sharp, funny Ivy) they are building something so beautiful.

Maybe I wished she could act less juvenialish sometimes, and I wanted him to grovel more. But as she closed the door from the past and they faced the dangers around them, I saw they had the journey and the story that was perfect for them.

My Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Read this book in one sitting. Love it so much.
Micah and Hayden’s story is now my favorite in this series.
After her husband left her for her best friend and a one night stand that she will never forget, Hayden is ready for her new beginnings.
Little does she knows that she meets him again in the local grocery store.
Love everything about this book. The banter between Micah and Hayden, little Ivy and Sylvia were my favorites.
The storyline with a little suspense was great. Now I need more ASAP. Charlie and Dalton’s book can’t come soon enough.

It's still obvious the author is a big Kristen Ashley fan but I'm starting to read more of her own voice than KA's.

I liked Hayden and Micah and their bickering back and forth. The sex scenes in this book were a bit hotter than the others as they both like rough sex!

Hayden's daughter Ivy was very cute but it seemed a bit fast how soon Hayden let Micah into her life seeing as she was only divorced a few months previously. The husband wanting Hayden back was also predictable.

It's very 'KA Rock Chicks' how the men are all falling hard for the women as soon as they meet them and then the women all becoming friends and interfering in the newest romance but hey ho!

These books are getting better so I'll continue reading them but at present I'm reading out of order, as I'm just reading the characters I like the sound of!

When Hayden finds out her husband had been having an affair with her supposed best friend, it sets off a ripple effect within her life. Starting over in a small town where her beloved aunt lives could just be the best thing to happen to her. If the jerk who rocked her life one night weren't living there. The jerk who now seems determined to drive her crazy every time he opens his mouth.

Micah hasn't been able to get the best night of his life out of his mind even though it's been weeks since Hayden knocked him onto his ass. So when he sees her at the aisle of his local grocery store, he probably should have reacted in a way other than accusing her of stalking him...yep. And now she seems to hate him, even as he's dying for another chance with her. Will she give him that chance? Will he take his head out of his ass and treat her right? If so, she might give into the attraction that hasn't died down.

I am declaring right now that Love to Hate You is my new favorite story in this already excellent series. Hayden is awesome - feisty and sassy as hell, giving Micah no kinda breaks until he finally starts acting like the good guy he actually is deep inside. Their banter and their snark was perfect - funny and witty and just brimming with underlying attraction. I loved every word of this enemies to lovers, second chance story. Can't wait to read as another Hope Valley man gets taken to his knees by an amazing woman.

It's always a good day when you get to return to Hope Valley!!! And Micah and Hayden's story is so, so good! You know there is going to be one tough heroine when she finds out her husband is cheating on her with her best friend!!! Is there enough salt for that? So when Hayden decides she and her daughter are going to move on out to start over, she decides that one night of all kinds of crazy can't be bad, right? Hayden and her 4 yr old daughter move to Hope Valley to live with Hayden's Aunt Sylvia and who do you think Hayden accidentally walks into? Well that crazy one night, yea super hot, super alpha, super smug Micah and let's just say that the surprise wasn't really a happy one. Oh but it only gets better. Hayden's new neighbor, yup it's Micah!

This book is everything you love and want from the Hope Valley Series. An amazing couple who can banter like it's an olympic sport, have chemistry that sizzles, warmth, loyalty, and so much love. Of course the friendships. Absolutely love the ladies of Hope Valley. Can't leave out all the amazing hot guys from Alpha Omega and the men in blue. And wait until you fall in love with Ivy & Aunt Sylvia. This book will steal your heart!!! Definitely you will want this to be your next 1 click!!!

AHHHHHHHH, this may be my favorite book in Jessica's Hope Valley series! A smokin' hot one night stand between Micah and Hayden. It's all good. Just a little fun one night. It doesn't matter they won't see each other again. Ha! Famous last words! When Hayden moves to Hope Valley to live with her aunt, she comes face to face with her hot night of sex. Except Micah is a jerk!

A one night stand turns to full-on hate. But all that chemistry they had that first night together is just simmering under the surface, waiting to catch fire and explode. And boy does it ever.

I truly loved everything about this one. Micah is absolutely delicious. I love how Hayden bounced back after her (ex)husband's infidelity. But you know who stole the show? Ivy! Hayden's precocious little daughter was everything you could want. She helped to showcase Micah's sweeter side. Is there anything sexier than a man with a child? That will melt me every single time.

Grab this book. Love to Hate you is a standalone novel that can be read independently from the larger series. However, I promise you that the "side" characters in this book will intrigue you enough to start binging the rest of the series!

I have only read one other book in this series however it was still easy to follow but I will be going back to read the others as they are all very interesting characters. I liked that Micah and Hayden were people who had lived and had a good range of life experiences both good and bad. It makes a change to see a group of female friends being accepting and supportive and I love the way Jessica wrote these women.

The story starts with betrayal it could have been a depressing angst heavy story but Jessica wrote Hayden differently. It feel like Hayden goes through a rebirth discovering she is stronger than she thinks. I loved seeing her regain her confidence and sense of self where she is able to articulate what she wants. The chemistry with Micah is so hot it is burning up the pages. It was good that it wasn't all hearts and flowers. Micah can be one seriously grumpy guy but he is no match for Hayden's cute as a button daughter Ivy aka Monster. The mystery throughout the book runs seamlessly alongside a beautiful story of love and friendship.

There's something about the men and women in Hope Valley . The men either work for Alpha Omega or their detectives. The women are a circle of friends that just keeps getting bigger when someone new moves in.
I wish it was a realplace cause I'm telling you happiness truly grows there

5 She's Everything He Didn't Know He Wanted Stars!!!

The minute I started this newest book in one of my favorite series I knew I was going to finish it in one sitting and that's exactly what happened!! I started it Thursday night and finished it in the early am of Friday!!

Micah and Hayden are truly the antithesis of each other… he’s all growly and alpha and she’s a single mom that’s starting over after the ultimate betrayal. And the night they spend together before Hayden moves and begins her new life is one of the best and hottest experiences for both of them…. Little did they know they’d be seeing each other sooner versus later!!

And oh my stars, their first meeting in Hope Valley was a doozy and I was totally rolling because he’s just throwing a fit in the grocery store and Hayden really laid into him which sets the tone for their relationship moving forward…especially when she finds out that Micah is the her aunt’s next door neighbor that Sylvia wants to set her up with!! And let me just say Hayden’s little girl, Ivy is everything I love about how Jessica Prince writes children. This little girl is sassy, smart and funny. She’s her mother’s daughter in all the best ways and her love for her best friend Micah adds another element of why I loved this book so much.

I loved how these two were together. There’s a chemistry that cannot be denied and there are definitely a match in the bedroom because they want and love the same things and they bring out the best of each other. I loved how we see Micah change as the book progresses. He’s never believed in love and seeing all his friends find their significant others had him questioning them because he was never going to fall in love!

I adore how the women of Hope Valley brought Hayden into their circle. It’s what she needed so much after the ending of her marriage. These women become her lifeline to her transition to Hope Valley. Add in Micah’s protectiveness of Hayden even if he doesn’t want to admit she’s going to be his permanently, especially when other men are showing interest and their lives are intertwined even if they don’t want them to be.

But watching this man fall for Hayden and Ivy brought such a big smile to my face. I love how this big alpha male becomes this gentle giant with this precocious little girl… and she’s got him wrapped around her little finger!! Aunt Sylvia is already a huge fan of Micah so she’ll do whatever is needed to bring them together. Add in the suspense of the investigation Micah and Leo have been working on with not enough concrete evidence and an informant that’s bound and determined to “solve the case” and my heart was beating a mile a minute!!

But the overwhelming emotion of this book is love and when Micah falls, he falls hard….

“I decided right then and there, even if she fought it tooth and nail, it wasn’t gong to matter. The end result would be the same no matter what. I was keeping her. She’d just have to deal with it.”

And keep her he does… their love is tested and put at risk but it’s a love that has a strength stronger than a steel chain and these two won’t let anything or anyone, even her smarmy ex-husband, put a wedge in the love and life they’re building together. This book is and series is one of my all time favorites by Ms. Prince and if you haven’t read these books you’re truly missing out!!

After divorcing her cheating ex-husband, Hayden Young does something she has never done before... hooks up with a hunky dude she will never see again... or so she thinks...

Micah Langford can't stop thinking about his night with Hayden, but the last thing he expects is for her to show up in his town, and the attitude she throws his way when he confronts her about it...

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Love to Hate You was a delectable, friction laden, lovers-to-enemies and then back to lovers, delight! Hayden and Micah's sexual tension and animosity toward each other was wildly entertaining and a steamy good time!
After her recent divorce, Hayden decides to start over in Hope Valley, along with her adorable daughter, Ivy. After she shared a night with Micah and expected to never see him again, imagine her surprise when she does... and he is a total jerk to her. So, she throws him some attitude and hopes to avoid him forever... too bad for her, Hope Valley can be the smallest of small towns...
Micah is a police officer, a good friend, and a well-known bachelor in Hope Valley. With his minor alpha tendencies and his desire for Hayden only intensifying, he makes it known that he doesn't care if she hates him... as long as she keeps expressing that intensity she has for him, in and out of the bedroom.
This book was an incredibly sexy and fun read! Hayden and Micah's relationship was entertaining and spicy, and I absolutely loved the dynamic that Ivy, Hayden's precocious daughter adds to the story. She was one of my favorite fictional kids, ever! With a plot that doesn't run short on the drama, but didn't overshadow the growing connection between Hayden and Micah, this book flowed like a dream and kept me glued to it's pages.
The Hope Valley series just keeps getting better and better! Every book is fresh and entertaining, and I just can't express enough about how much I enjoy every single character that comes out of this town and the everlasting friendships they form along the way!
I received a complimentary copy of this book for my honest and unbiased review.
I am such a huge fan of this lady, and the hope valley series is one of my absolute favorite series I have ever read, and they keep getting better and better!! This book had all the things her last few books have been missing: Their was actual spark between the characters, I could feel their love, the banter was on point, and the suspense was spot on! JP is back everyone!!!
Hayden had her life ripped apart when she found out her husband has been having an affair with her best friend, so she and her adorable daughter move to Hope Valley where her aunt lives, and she finally finds the place and home she was always meant to have. She finds the best of friends, finally feels part of an amazing community, and even though she has no desire to be tied down anytime soon, she can't stop thinking about the one night stand who set her world on fire.. And is her current bane of existence and next door neighbor.
Micha is an officer with the Hope Valley police department, and him and his team are still trying to find out who killed one of their own. After one particular hard day he lets off some steam and gets lost himself in a woman that with one look owned him..until he realizes she lives in his town. They come to heads, and their perfect enemies to lovers banter had me ROLLING!! JP does amazing banter in all of her books, but this was just phenomenal! You could *feel* their sexual tension leap off the page, and I couldn't wait for these two to finally get together! And when they did, it was just amazing! I loved the way Micha was with Hayden's little girl too! Their bond was just so adorable!!
And would this be a JP book without me being a crying mess?! I must be the biggest masochist though because I loved every second of it! These two were just so PERFECT for each other in every way!!
I can't wait until we get Charlie's book! I just know her and her man will be amazing!!
Make sure you guys one click this when it goes live!! You don't want to miss out on this amazing book!!😊
**I received an ARC of this book and these are my honest opinions!**
***5 ‘I Intend to Get Caught in Your Flames’ Stars***
And we have another great addition to the series!
Not that I’m all that surprised, but I swear it feels like going home whenever I dive into a book from this series, or it’s spinoff, and I honestly hate having to say good-bye for now when the book is over.
I adored Hayden. She definitely gets the rug pulled out from underneath her, but I loved how she picked herself up and moved on for herself and her daughter, Ivy. She is all kinds of fiery and I thoroughly enjoyed watching her become the woman she was always meant to be. I adored Micah, I did, but boy did the man have his moments where I wanted to Gibbs smack him. But outside of those moments, he’s a really good man. Charming, protective and all kinds of alpha goodness when it matters.
Their journey to their HEA started off with a bang and then got a bit rocky, but it was all kinds of fun to watch as they came to see what ALL of their friends and family knew right away ~ that they were meant for each other. Their chemistry was off the charts and they just flowed. Of course there was a little help from Aunt Sylvia and the very precocious Ivy ~ but I loved where they were at the end.
This series just makes my heart happy. The angst is relatively low and when there is drama it gets worked out without too many OTT moments. But, what I love the most are the characters that inhabit Hope Valley. I loved catching up with the entire crew and seeing just where they are at in their relationships, but Aunt Sylvia and Ivy were all kinds of amazing! I want to be Aunt Sylvia when I grow up. There is a very good hint as to who the next couple to fall may be, but even if it isn’t who I think it is (D & C), I’ll still be all kinds of happy to be able to spend a few hours with the Hope Valley crew!
Gosh, I just love my visits to Hope Valley. Every time I go, I catch up with the gals I have gotten to know over these books' series. Checking up on the guys on the police force and the guys of Alpha Omega is always fun. This story is no different.
We meet Hayden as her marriage is falling apart in the worst way it can. Let it be said people can suck--plain and simple. Hayden simply has been a square peg trying to fit into a round hole her whole life, first for her parents than for her husband. It's time for Hayden to learn to live her life, and she chooses to do that by moving to Hope Valley to live with her Aunt Sylvia. But not before she has the epitome of a hunka hunka burning one-night-stand with Micah.
From there, we get pure Jessica Prince--who can write these kinds of storylines like no one else. Needless to say, Hayden and Micah end up in the same town, and that gets the romance rolling, and it is a beautiful thing to see. Old ladies with wisdom, sass, and a big bottle of gin. Little girls with smarts and whimsy to get into wallets for money for the swear jar. Lots of hunky Hope Valley man meat on display for a tag football game. A night of drinking with the girls, dancing, and gossip. A bad guy of nastily epic proportions and a whole lot of heroism from our tough females. This entire book was fun from page 1, and it gave us a peek at the next story coming for Hope Valley. You know, I love the Redemption series, but every time I go back to Hope Valley, I get real happy there. So, Tennessee or Virginia, I'm good with either just keep these fun steamy stories coming!
WOW!
Well I don't know HOW Jessica Prince does it!
But she surely knows what she's doing!
Giving us all those hot guys from Hope Valley and here we've got another WONDERFUL LOVE STORY!
OMG! I LOVE YOU JESSICA!
AND I LOVED THIS BOOK! ❤
Love To Hate You is the 9th book of the Hope Valley Series and it was ANOTHER MASTERPIECE! YES! For me it was a brilliant story I absolutely loved and devoured and enjoyed!
*swoon*
So Love To Hate You is the story of Hayden and Micah! (Aww! This name alone! OMG!)
Well after Hayden is over with her husband because he cheated on her she meets this handsome stranger and has the best night of her whole life. Surprisingly she and Micah (The handsome stranger) meet each other again in Hope Valley! Yay! The small town where he lives and she'll be living. But this meet up turns out differently than the night they spend together. Lust turns into hate and maybe it'll turn into love?
You HAVE TO READ THIS BOOK!
OMG! I loved EVERY SINGLE MOMENT OF IT! Damn the sex was absolutely hot! I wasn't prepared for Micah for sure! LOL And I loved this surprising plot twist! I thought if they'd meet again they'd just continue where they ended things but NO! It was even better and not that predictable! I loved it!
Hayden is such a strong and sassy and impressive young woman! Such an inspiration! And the perfect fit for Micah! Just perfect! ❤
God! Even thinking about those two makes me wanna read the book all over again!
Hayden and Micah have such a great chemistry and their story is so full of love and great development and drama and suspense and loooove and everything I love in a good romance novel. I can't even put all my feelings into good words!
Thank you so much for this book! I really really really enjoyed it! 😍😍😍😍
I received a free ARC copy of this book from the author prior to release and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This was such a wonderful story I absolutely adored it. It stars a new woman in town, Hayden who is newly divorced, a single mom and who is Sylvia's niece. She comes to town to run the flower shop and to escape her ex and his new woman who was once her best friend.
It also stars Micah who is a bit of a playboy and lets say when they run into each other at the grocery store after Hayden moves to town, he goes a bit crazy and so starts their love to hate you story. But Micah has a tough time resisting Hayden and then he gets a surprise when he gets home.
I am not spoiling anything of this romance between two really awesome characters. I loved how the women befriend Hayden and how the men love to tease Micah. Also Hayden's daughter is simply adorable. I loved how when Micah goes in with Hayden he goes all in. And I loved that Hayden is the one that is the hero in this story. She saves the day literally. And it was the best part of the book.
This story also has a side suspenseful story starring Dalton and Charlie. Charlie is an amazing character and I cannot wait to see what her story is like in future books.
