In the mid-1980s, his family shifted and settled in Chennai where Raghavanfinished his school and college studies in 1988. Even though he has completed a course in Mechanical Engineering, he did not want to take a job in a factory because of the interest in writing. Raghavan started his career as a sub-editor in Amudhasurabi Monthly Magazine. The famous weekly magazine kalki offered him the post Assistant Editor in 1992 after he showed his talent in humorous articles and stories.
Raghavan worked as an assistant editor in Kalki for about 8 years and joined in kumudam the No.1. Tamil weekly magazine in 2000. After completing a full year in Kumudam as Assistant Editor, he was appointed as the Editor in Charge for then newly started by monthly Kumudam Junction.
Raghavan left the magazine industry and became involved in publishing in 2003 and presently leading the Tamil Division (‘'Kizhakku Pathippagam'’) of New Horizon Media Private Limited.
Raghavan worked as an assistant editor in Kalki for about 8 years and joined in kumudam the No.1. Tamil weekly magazine in 2000. After completing a full year in Kumudam as Assistant Editor, he was appointed as the Editor in Charge for then newly started by monthly Kumudam Junction.

ஆர் எஸ் எஸ் அமைப்பின் எளிய அறிமுக புத்தகம். தேசிய உணர்வு கொண்ட இயக்கம் மட்டுமல்ல ஹிந்து மதவெறி கொண்ட இயக்கம்..

A good introduction of RSS - An Indian right-wing, Hindu nationalist, paramilitary volunteer organisation which changed the view of India. RSS have had their contribution directly or indirectly on the below events:
Gandhi Assassination
Kashmir Disputes
Babur Masjid demolition
Ethnic Cleansing in Lahore
Vivekananda Rock Memorial
They say, "We are the protector of Hindu nation", but we see them as Religious Militarism than nationalism".
Any ideology protects their own race/religion by aggressive defense mechanism by spewing venomous violence on other race/religion must be eradicated without a second thought. No matter whatever the reason they have. Either its Hinduism, christianity or Islam.
Hatred ideology over religion or race definitely hinders the progression of any nation

2020இல் எழுதப்பட்ட இந்த புத்தகம்,
ஆங்கிலேயே ஆட்சிக்கு எதிராகவும், ஜின்னாவின் பிரிவினை கோரிக்கையினால் ஏற்பட்ட வன்முறைகளிளினால் பாதிப்புள்ளாகக்கூடிய இந்துக்களாகாக்கவும் சாதிபேதமற்ற தேர்தல் அரசியலில் பங்கேற்காத இயக்கமாக 'கேசவ பலிராம் ஹெட்கோவர்' என்பவரால் , 1925ம் ஆண்டு விஜயதசமி நாளில் நாக்பூரில் தொடங்கப்படுகிறது, ஆர்.எஸ்.எஸ் எனும் ராஷ்ட்ரிய ஸ்வயம் சேவக். 1922ல் ஒத்துழையாமை இயக்கத்தை திரும்பபெற்றதினாலும், காந்தியின் மிதவாத கொள்கையை வெறுத்தவர்களும் காங்கிரசை விட்டு, வந்து சேர்ந்த இடம் 'இந்து மகா சபை'. அங்கே திலகர், சாவர்க்கருடன், ஹெட்கோவரும் ஒன்றாக பணியாற்றியவர்கள் என்பது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது.
இப்புத்தகத்தினை வாசிக்கும் முன்பு, திரு பா. ராகவன் என்ற இந்து எழுத்தாளர் எழுதியதாலேயே சற்றே ஆர்.எஸ்.எஸ் அல்லது இந்து சார்பு புத்தகமோ? என்ற எண்ணம் எழாமல் இல்லை. ஆனால் அந்த அளவிற்கு ஒன்றும் நடுநிலை வழுவி எழுதப்படவில்லை. வரலாற்றில் நடந்தவற்றை பாகுபாடு இல்லாமல் அப்படியே தந்திருக்கிறார்.
பல இந்து அமைப்புகளிலிருந்து ஆர்.எஸ்.எஸ்-ஐ தனித்து காட்டவும், அது இந்திய குடிமக்களாகிய அனைத்து மதத்தினருக்கானதாகவும் ஒரு சமூக இயக்கமாக உருவாக்கப்பட்டதுதான். சாதி பாகுபாடல்லாத, அதே நேரத்தில் இந்து அல்லாத தேசபக்தி மட்டும் கொண்ட பிற மதத்தினரையும் வரவேற்கிறது ஆர்.எஸ்.எஸ் என கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது. அதிலும், அவர்கள் ஏற்படுத்தியுள்ள "ஷாகா" எனும் கூட்டு பயிற்சி அல்லது கூடி கற்றல் எனும் முறை, பிற இந்து அமைப்பிகளிலும் காணப்படாததாக தெரிவிக்கப்படுகிறது. அதிலும், எந்த கட்சிக்கு ஆதரவனவார்களும் இதில் இணையலாம் எனவும் கூறுகின்றனர்.
பாகிஸ்தான் பிரிவினையின் போது இந்துக்களின் பக்கம் நின்று போராடியது, ஆர்.எஸ்.எஸ் . அதாவது பாகிஸ்தானிலிருந்து பிணங்கள் இந்திய எல்லைக்குள் ரயில்கள் மூலம் அனுப்பபட்டதை, அகிம்சை வழியில் அல்லாது ஈடு செய்வோம் என களத்தில் தாமாக குதித்திருக்கிறது, ஆர் எஸ் எஸ்! அதே போல உள்நாட்டு மதக்கலவரத்திலும் பங்கேற்றது, பாதிக்கப்பட்ட இந்து மக்களின் சார்பாக!
சுதந்திரம் பெற்ற பின், நடந்த பாகிஸ்தான், சீன, கிழக்கு பாகிஸ்தான் போர்கள், இயற்கை பேரிடர்கள் என அனைத்திலும் ஆர்.எஸ்.எஸ். சேவகர்களின் தேசப்பணி அளப்பரியது என்கின்றனர்.
அதே வேளையில், காந்தி படுகொலை நாதுராம் கோட்ஸே, ஒரு முன்னாள் ஆர்.எஸ்.எஸ். உறுப்பினர்(அதாவது கொலை நடந்தபோது அவர் ஆர்.எஸ்.எஸ்'ஐ சேர்ந்தவரல்ல), பாபர் மசூதி இடிப்பு, கோத்ரா ரயில் எரிப்பை அடுத்து ஏற்பட்ட குஜராத் கலவரம் என ஆர்.எஸ்.எஸ்-இன் மறுபக்கத்தையும் கூறுகிறது இப்புத்தகம்.
மேலும், ஆர்.எஸ்.எஸ்., தேர்தல் அரசியலை தவிர்த்ததனால், ஆங்கிலேயர் முதல் காங்கிரஸ் ஆட்சி வரை, பல முறை தேசம் முழுக்க தடை செய்யப்படுகிறது. அதனால், அதன் அரசியல் முகமாக 'பாரதிய ஜன சங்" உருவாக்கப்படுகிறது.(அது பின்னர், "ஜனதா" கட்சியுடன் கலந்து, பின் அவர்களது கொள்கை ஒத்துவராததால் 1980ல் 'பாரதிய ஜனதா கட்சி' உருவானது என்பது தனி கதை.)
காந்தியும் நேருவும் பல சமயம் இவ்வியக்கத்தை பாராட்டியதாக தெரிவிக்கின்றனர்.
"குமரியில், பல வேற்று மதத்தினரின் எதிர்ப்புகளையும் மீறி, விவேகானந்தர் பாறையில் நினைவாலயம் அமைத்தது. மீனாட்சிபுரம் கிராம மக்களின் மதமாற்றத்தை எதிர்த்து போராடியது, மண்டைக்காடு போராட்டம்" என அவர்களின் கரங்கள் தென்னகம் வரை வளர்ந்துள்ளது.
சிறும்பான்மை மத மக்களுக்கு மதசார்பற்ற என்ற பெயரிலும் அந்தந்த மதத்தின் பெயரிலும், கட்சிகளும் இயக்கங்களும் உள்ள போது., பெரும்பான்மை மக்களுக்கென ஒரு இயக்கம் உருவாக்கப்பட்டு, அது மதமாற்றங்களை எதிர்ப்பதனால், இடதுசாரிகளும், பிற மத கட்சிகளும், போலி மதசார்பற்ற கட்சிகளும்
பல்வேறு விதமான எதிர் குரலுக்கு மத்தியில் 2025இல் நூற்றாண்டு காணப்போகிறது, ஆர்.எஸ்.எஸ்!
எந்த இயக்கமானாலும், கட்சியானாலும் போலி அரசியல் செய்யாமல், மதநல்லிணக்கத்துடன் தேசிய நீரோட்டத்தில் கலந்து, பிறர் நம்பிக்கைகளை மதித்து, தொண்டு புரிந்தால், இந்தியா எனும் தேசம் மேலும் பல உயரங்களை எட்டலாம் என்பது நம் கருத்து .
பல்வேறு தரவுகளை கொண்டு பா.ராகவன் அவர்கள் இப்புத்தகத்தை எழுதியுள்ளார். ஆர்.எஸ்.எஸ் பற்றிய முதன்மை புரிதலுக்கு ஏற்ற நூல்.!

One sided view.
He is accusing RSS for all the religious conflicts. He conveniently avoid to accuse those who are the root cause of religious conflicts. The cause of action is irrelevant to this writer. On the other hand he portrays RSS as religious bigots. RSS is formed for self defence and not to attack. When one comes with a dagger to attack a conflict is sure to happen. Not in a single page he point his finger at Muslims. So I dislike this book and would not recommend as a fair study of RSS.

ராஷ்டிரிய சுயம்சேவக் சங் எனப்படும் R.S.S உருவாக்கப்பட்ட காலத்தில் இருந்து 2010 வரையான, ஏறத்தாழ 85 வருட வரலாற்றை சுருக்க��ாக விவரிக்கிறது இந்நூல். R.S.S இன் தேசபக்தி, இந்திய - சீன மற்றும் இந்திய - பாகிஸ்தான் போர்களின் போது அவ் அமைப்பினர் ஆற்றிய பணிகள், சாதிபேதமின்மை போன்ற நல்ல விடயங்களையும் அதே சமயத்தில் அவர்களின் தீவிர மதவெறி, இஸ்லாமிய மக்களுக்கு எதிராக அவர்கள் கட்டவிழ்த்து விட்ட வன்முறைகள் போன்ற எதிர்மறையான விடயங்களையும் பக்கச் சார்பின்றி விவரித்திருப்பது சிறப்பு. இந்நூலை வாசிப்பதன் மூலம் R.S.S இன் அடிப்படைக் கட்டமைப்பு, செயற்பாடுகள், கொள்கைகள் மற்றும் அவர்களது வரலாறு பற்றி அறிந்துகொள்ள முடியும் என்பதில் ஐயமில்லை.

Good reading
Pa.Raghavan made readers never to keep the book down once they open. Very nice explanations without damaging or less damaging scenarios. Suggested to all readers.

Pa.Raghavan has given a book in a very neutral stand point. Where I like the book the most is how the neutrality is projected. The data points are given for both good and bad deeds that happened owing to actions of RSS as a group. Author is intelligent to quote people from RSS and opposition to emphasize on data points that has been projected, a effective way of communicating the neutral stand point.
But never the less author also shares his personal opinion in certain phrases of book, even in those the author seem to be in both sides. Might be that is the authors style, seems to be fit in well.
It is good to know about RSS, their patriotism, staunch belief on hinduism, savior of people in different phases of political importance, not going behind money and popularity. Complete non self centric renunciation for their faith is something that people can envy from this set of people, not many could achieve this with such a huge group.
Ofcourse if there is a good there has to be a bad. Their dominance, violent intention, non compromising attitude, too rude in what they believe and no care attitude on consequences are something that makes them not to be on the right side.
At the end I got what I actually wanted it for, to know and understand RSS. The author has done complete justice for the intention. A good recommend for people who wants similar read.
