This book was written in a straight forward, easy to read style. The author made it enjoyable. It was hard to put the book down. I was interested in her many experiences, and I was so impressed with her ability to move on after physical and emotional setbacks.

I found this all too made up, so many coincidental stories.
The arrogance of this woman (Glynis) (Pg 52 she states that she should have a seat next to God when she gets to heaven!) Really? What's makes her think she is so special?!
I didn't like her attitude throughout this book.

Absolutely fantastic book, I cannot recommend it highly enough 😀. I cried so many times reading the accounts both in the hospital and in the spiritual readings.

The writer portrays daily spirit/ghosts encounters with such a light mood that it's simply a joy to read what she's been through. It's definitely a must read even for the ones who dont believe in the after life

Readers’ Comments
“I thought this was a rather fun read. I'm not big on psychics or the afterlife, but it was an interesting book anyway and I felt - although I might be wrong - that the author was honest in her writing.” Male reader, aged 55
“I felt this book was not only interesting in terms of the afterlife, but also in terms of the work of a nurse. This book is very different to most books looking at the NHS, as it has the whole psychic thing going on. But it made it unusual, and I like that.” Female reader, aged 53

Challenge: Global Nurses Month May 2020. It comes as no surprise that nurses would have paranormal experiences in an atmosphere where death is often a norm. This nurse's account of her experiences with the spirits/ghosts who have separated from the body illustrate the various circumstances that tether ghosts to their prior lives and that beckon spirits to return for those they love. As a nurse working in England's Nation Health Service system, her many varied assignments and literally back-breaking work reiterate the dedication of nurses to a vocation that can wear at the psyche as well as the body. In addition, nurse Glynis brings special gifts with which she was born and developed further in many areas to help those in need after she retires from nursing. An interesting book for paranormal investigators as well.

This was a fascinating read into the life of a pyschic medium. Glynis tells of the many spirits she has encountered over the years, starting from when she was a child. Her grandmother was a pyschic and had told her that she was special. The stories Glynis tells throughout the book are so interesting, she has such an amazing gift. I know there are a lot of cynics out there but as someone who has visited a medium I 100% believe in everything she talks about.

I have always been fascinated by the paranormal and this book did not disappoint. A very down to earth account of what it is like to be both a psychic medium and a nurse in the NHS. The author of this book tells her story as it is, no nonsense. She describes her many experiences beautifully with with such respect, dignity and compassion. This book is an extremely enjoyable read, be sure to add it to your list.
