I received a free copy of this book for my unbiased opinion....
Edited by R.J. Carter, "The devil You Know" is an anthology detailing human experiences with the Prince of Light - otherwise known as Lucifer. Inside are stories of humans selling their souls, the gate of Hell opening in a strip club (think "From Dusk to Dawn"), and other tasty treats.....
What if the Devil came to a moonshiner, asking him to stop making brew? You'll find the answer in "Demon's Pint, Devil's Jug...
A worthwhile collection, and you don't have to sell your soul...
This anthology was a bit hit and miss for me. There were a few stories that were a little long-winded and dull, or the endings were unsatisfying, but it did contain a varied mix of devil stories and a few really good ones. Favourites include Give Me Your Soul and I’ll Give You a Pepperoni, The Stranger’s Choice, The Devil & The Details, and, The Pact.
