The survivors continue onward in search of help and safety. With every step, they’re pushed to their limits. The challenges around every corner threaten them both physically and mentally.
If there are others still out there, are they even worth finding? Perhaps they are all that was left in the world. As the race for survival continues, death and fear continue to grow around them.
The clock was ticking. Who would be next to succumb to the dangers of the new world?
Kellee L. Greene is a stay-at-home mom to two super awesome and wonderfully sassy children. She loves to read, draw, and spend time with her family when she's not writing. Writing and having people read her books has been a long time dream of hers and she's excited to write more. Her favorite genres are Fantasy and Sci-fi. Kellee lives in Wisconsin with her husband, two kids, and two cats.
This novel picks up where the last one ended. Each group’s story continues to unfold as they encounter obstacles, heartache and small triumphs. They are all journeying to find a safe place that will protect them from the rising water and from violent humans. Each group deals with different issues regarding death, violence, and perils of raging flood water. The different POVs allow you to see how each group of people are affected by disaster and how they decide to handle it.
I did receive an ARC for an honest review. Normally I’m on the fence about multiple POVs in a book; however, the author has done an excellent job with making it all come together and I thoroughly enjoyed this series! I cannot wait to see what awesome novel she comes up with next! If you haven’t read anything else by Kellee Greene, then you are missing out. I highly recommend reading all of her novels!
So it's obvious at this point that I am addicted to Kellee Greene's The Reset. With each new book, Greene reels me in with a new character, a new story of survival and wonder at where we might end of up next. This series has all that you need from love, romance to mystery and suspense. Challenges and survival are real, likely to happen and it's yet to become repetitive which is something I find quite a bit in disaster novels. I highly recommend this series to readers! It was well worth my one click.
I enjoyed the survival part of this book but there were quite a few "seriously?!" Moments. For example when two of the characters are boarding up the window of a house they are taking shelter in during a violent storm, and the girl drops the board to run out in the rain because she sees a water pump and wants to take a bubble bath. Seriously?? Oh and the multiple times the main characters had to stop fighting for their survival to have sex with the person they just met. It was unnecessary it didn't further the story. I rather see some character development, backstory or at least see them come up with more of a plan to survive or at least keep watch since they get ambushed and their stuff stolen quite often. I loved the first book, I liked the second, not crazy about this one.

Basically the same as book two. There are SO many annoying characters in this book and none of them are the "bad guys" the main characters seem to keep running into. I find it really hard to believe that one set has walked across three states, including TEXAS and has only seen like 20 people. That's absurd. I want to keep reading these but please refocus on something besides the mindless, boring, repetitive "survival" narrative. There's so much more here to explore in this world that's been created.
I really like this Post Survival Series! This is a story about the survival of several groups of people that have so far lived through the global events that tore the mantel of the earth and threw the earth into horrifying periods of rebirth.
I am loving this series. This could actually happen, and I don't mean some device trying to reset the planet like happened here but there could be a flood. New characters appearing some good some bad. We follow our main ones. Off yo read the next one.
These books aren’t very long since I can read them in 24 hours if I have a few hours free. Still enjoying the storyline and now feel like I need to see how everyone turns out. It appears we lose a few in this one so it may be a much smaller group by the end. Onward to book 4.
Starting to get really boring. And the kids don't seem to be wising up. Weird how the one group got to New Mexico from Florida on foot faster than one group on a motorcycle got to Nevada from California.
Still pretty decent story though it's the same scenario over and over again. I'm attached to the characters so that's what keeps me reading. I think if I wasn't I'd give up on the series.
