Sometimes, without realising, a line is crossed and you must accept that you’re so far behind it that there is no going back.
If green eyes and super good looks turned the heads of even the least interested woman, then perhaps a career as a therapist with a speciality in the ultimate intimacies was always going to push boundaries.
Dr Owen Baxter: They pulled me away moments before the explosion and in those few moments my world changed forever She had this confidence to cut through all the nonsense getting right to the meat of the matter. Her whispering French voice had captured my attention and I’d fallen victim. It was hard to deny how easily she could play the pied piper I hope I’m not going to regret this but I’m going to let down my guard and put myself in your capable hands. I’m tired of sitting on the side-lines.
Frankie: I caught sight of you from across the room. You looked like a deer in the headlights and I had this knee-jerk reaction to rescue you. You look completely bored out of your mind. We don’t know each other yet, but I think we can do better than this place. Why don’t we skip the rest of this and find something better to do with our time. A man that is completely honest and open is hard to find. There is a sanctuary for therapists to confide but it’s by invitation only and if life is to move forward, Chicago native, Dr. Owen Baxter needs to move beyond his lost love, his loss of vision and lay bare the secret he’s been guarding so well; Frankie! A stand-alone novella full of unrestrained passion. An Alfa man who unknowingly needs an Alpha woman and which Frankie will deliver with drama, twists and an HEA. No cheating or cliff-hangers here!

I was a little confused in the beginning, but the deeper into the story the better it got. Baxter Owen is a sex therapist struggling with his own issues. Blinded in an chemical accident and losing his fiancé at the same time has put him a position of denial. Meeting a mystery woman, Frankie, at a speed dating event has Baxter questioning his future to feel again. Thanks for another great read.

Dr. Baxter Owens is blind. He can see lights and shapes but 10 years ago a chemical spill in highway pileup killed his fiancee, she burned up in front of him. He loses himself in his job as a sex therapist.
Francesca Ames whose brother is Baxter's best friend, is a sex addict being treated by Baxter. She made millions in the research and development of drugs. She also suffered loss. She was driving car and skidded off road into ravine 3 yrs ago and lost Ryan.
Baxter is ready to start dating again and meets Frankie during a speed date. She wisks Baxter away for an amazing night of sex with unrestrained passion. Will he figure out that Frankie and Francesca are the same person? Against his better judgement, Baxter agrees to see Francesca outside of the office as friends. Mutual attraction, leads to so much more. He had dealt with his loss by closing himself off while she looked to forget in the physical. Their relationship is much deeper than just the physical but it's emotional healing as well.
This story is unique in that it is told by Baxter to another therapist during his own therapy. With the main character being blind, the story is visually creating a picture with words, sounds, touch and scents. The explanation of what in front of his eyes creates one for the reader as well. Pandora Kendell chooses her key words carefully to create all of this. My one point of unbelievability is that a man, especially a blind man relying on his other scenes, wouldn't realize that Francesca and Frankie were one in the same. Suspending this, it is a quick read that is enhanced for the senses, giving the reader an experience. There are also other characters in this story that will allow for further stories.
Just, wow! Pandora Kendell has written a most unique and thoroughly hot romance that lives up to its name, Blind Lust. Dr. Baxter Owens is a sex therapist who deals in addiction. He's been blind for 10 years, ever since his fiance was killed in a freak accident. She and Baxter were involved in a five-car pileup due to a chemical spill. The chemicals spread and trapped her inside and, as Baxter tried to get her out of her door, a spark ignited the scene. He was blinded, but the car blew up with Janine inside. He's done with women because Janine was the only one he would ever want. A patient, by the name of Frankie, takes his breath away and, although he knows it isn't right, he is tempted by her and her enthusiasm for life and the fact that she constantly pushes his boundaries. The writing is detailed and dynamic, with Baxter and Frankie needing to give in to each other, but not daring to cross that final line. But the problem is removed when Frankie disappears and Baxter meets a new woman named Francesca. She is everything Fankie is not. She is more of a classic beauty, sophisticated in her clothing and manor. Baxter finds her very appealing, but he just can't forget Frankie. Francesca knows what she's up against, and does everything in her power to fight for him. I fell in love with Frankie, just as he did, and couldn't accept the fact that he chose the other woman. Wow! What an ending and I have to say it was the best case of gotcha I've read in a long time. Well done, Ms. Kendell!
Ten years on, and Baxter still misses the love of his life. The accident that took her from him, also took his sight, he was also left with burns to his hands. But that’s not stopped him from becoming a good therapist, as sex therapist no less! He’s cold and clinical, he doesn’t mix business with pleasure, so no sleeping with patients! But he’s logical and practical, and that’s why his patients like him. He’s also ready to start dating, but doesn’t really want to start at the beginning, I get the impression he’d like to skip all that, and just be comfy with someone, get to where he was with his fiancée, without all the hassle!
So basically it’s Doctor Baxter Owen recounting a personal experience to another doctor in confidence. A monthly meeting to help one another, to give guidance if needed, but it felt more like to two friends chatting. I have to admit, I didn’t really enjoy it. Most of the characters felt wooden, the scenes felt stilted. We meet a few characters, and you have to wonder if more books will come out of it? Baxter came off as rude and pretty standoffish and how he couldn’t tell Frankie from Francesca I don’t know! (But there is a twist) But I liked how the author put you in Baxter’s shoes, the descriptions were really good. He’s can see shapes, but nothing defined. So it’s all described for you.
So when he finds out Frankie is in fact Francesca what will he do? I could tell you, but I won’t 😉
Wow what a read Dr Owen Baxter lost his eyesight 10 year ago by a chemical spill which also killed his fiancee and has learned to rely on his others senses he can see shapes and figures He is also a sex addiction therapist. But there is one patient that brings his feelings that he has hidden deep and for so long that she brings them to the surface again. Francesca AKA Frankie. She’s not what is not what you think she is.she likes Baxter and there sessions together so one night at a bar she goes under a disguise and has a one night stand with Baxter who becomes infatuated with finding her. Francesca then takes him out of his comfort zone and he feels different about things and his feelings start to change towards Francesca.
I really do recommend reading this book with both POVs though out the book and I like how you see things though Baxter’s eyes what he can see.Highly entertaining and enjoyable read and can’t wait to read other books by this author.

🔥🔥ONE LUSTFILLED LANDSLIDE🔥🔥 Blazing! Pandora does it up spicy with this titillating treat, bringing it on home with all the searing, steam, smouldering heat and heart pounding desire you can handle, wrapping this baby up sleek shiny and tight. A churning vortex chocked-full of stunning mishaps and intense circumstances, propel those explosive emotions into play, hooking you from the start and reeling you in for the duration. The raw magnetism and sizzling chemistry collides with such intensity, exposing flaming emotions, testing our characters in ways they could have never anticipated. The scenes are abundantly descriptive with colorful details that blend and flow, creating a majestic backdrop that's so rich and lively it feels as though you can just reach out and touch it. Fantastic job Pandora, thanks for sharing the little gem with us.
This is exactly what the title says blind lust. There's really not much of a story. Everything was predictable. I wasn't surprised about anything. It's a quick read that will get your blood pumping if you're looking to read some word porn.
Interesting having the man mostly blind so he only saw some shapes and color. Which didn’t affect his job as a therapist. A little twist with the live interests
Owen became blind after an accident that claimed the life of his one love. He is a sex therapist and he is always there for his patients. We learn of his secret at the sanctuary, where therapists go for therapy. Frankie A force of nature that he is captivated by. A hot story that is a recommended read
