I was very fond of the drama (You can read my long review for the drama here, but I write it in Bahasa) As Kim Soo Hyun said, the drama is a human healing drama and it hit my personal spot and my deepest feeling. And this book is my favorite Ko Moon Young's cruel fairy tale. So, when there was an announcement that the book will be published I was so excited..

This book is such a reminder for me that I must stop running away from everything that scares me.

"So don't forget any of it. Remember it all and overcome it. If you don't overcome it, you'll always be a kid whose soul never grows."

Those Sang Tae's favorite quote is also my favorite quote.

Actually, I don't really understand Korean, so I read this book and also read the translation on netflix. Haha But, I am going to spend my time to translate this book on my own because I want to know the literature writing that Ko Moon Young write in this book.

ps: I've just found out that there is an English edition of this book, but I don't know where to buy.

pps: In drama, Ko Moon Young is the writer of this book but the fact is Jo Yong, the screen writer of this drama, also write all Ko Moon Young's books as the supporting component for the drama. That is so W.O.W!!

I think 5 stars isn't enough to rate this book. I want to give it 10 stars, can I?

I came to know about this from the K-drama 'It's Okay To Not Be Okay'. This book is one of Ko Moon Young's cruel fairy tales. I've read the translation, I wish I could buy the whole set. I am emotionally attached to this series and would totally recommend watching it. Every scene had a meaning to it and I could just empathize with each one so deeply.

'Hurtful, painful memories. Memories of deep regret. Memories of hurting others and being hurt. Memories of being abandoned. Only those with such memories buried in their hearts can become stronger, more passionate and emotionally flexible. And only those can attain happiness.
So don't forget any of it. Remember it all and overcome it. If you don't overcome it, you'll always be a kid whose soul never grows. '

It's Okay To Not Be Okay.

Yes, I've read this because of Korean dorama It's Okay to Not Be Okay. First I listened to it on the show, then I actually read it. And I love "her" stories a lot. They are dark, creepy and powerful. Maybe it's because of the show, but I don't care. I'd like to own it even.

I haven't actually seen the drama where this is featured, but my mom is obsessed with it, and bought me this for Christmas, as I'm trying to learn Korean! Such a bittersweet, touching story! Why were the stories I were read as a kid never this good...? I also just really love the artwork. Recommend.

Here is a rough translation of the story from Korean to English, and as neither is my first language, don't take it too seriously.

It's okay to not be okay

It's okay to not be okay ด้วย

Ah que coisa mais linda 🥰
Me senti dentro da série 🤣🤣

Gostei!

We all know that this is a good story so I don’t have much to say.
Instead, I’ll give a comment on the difficulty level of reading this (if Hangul is not your native language). So I’ve read it a few times before and was finally able to read it properly just now. There are a lot of words that are difficult to pronounce in this one. Gotta read it again and again to get the hang of it. 😅

It truly gives me what I wanted and to cope up with these nightmares
It is like telling my own story, I was begging for the same and afraid of going to sleep untill I realised it's not the way, if I can overcome it these nightmares won't come again if I accept everything these nightmares even it comes won't haunt me again
It's my story and truly depicts it

honestly, was one of the most sweetest books. sometimes we wish we could forget a lot of things, but we also forget that the situation, the trauma we passed made us stronger. some situation we thought we were dying but we survived and for that reason we grow stronger.
