She's dangerous, too, and in ways only Kane understands. As for their happily ever after, well that might have to wait. Right now, an old enemy who should be dead is still living, Junior, her mystery letter writer, is stirring up trouble, and her family is trying to prove they're crazier than her. On top of that she has a new case: a dead woman in a bloody wedding dress. I am relatively new to this series, so I have read 4 books in a row in a week to catch up to this one, and I can say Lilah Love just keeps getting better and better!
First of all, this series builds as you move through the books, so I would not recommend reading this as a standalone because so many things that happened in earlier installments are referenced in each subsequent story, and you will definitely miss out on some of the nuances that make the story all the more interesting - not to menti0n that the relationship between Lilah and Kane evolves significantly. And I do love their crazy idea of what romance is... they are both VERY imperfect individuals who are somehow perfect together. And Kane.... delish.
I won't go into a plot summary beyond what is already described on the jacket because I don't want to give anything away, but the mystery was engaging, it ended on a MEGA cliffhanger, and now I am DYING with anticipation awaiting the release of Bloody Love!
Please note that I received an advance copy of this book from the author in exchange for my honest review.
*Note that steam level is not a rating so much as a how hot was it: 0/5 - clean; 1/5 - mild (nothing descriptive); 2/5 - 3rd base action/1 home run; 3/5 - now we're getting somewhere (a couple of full-on steamy scenes); 4/5 - yes please! (erotica territory); 5/5 - they did EVERYTHING in this one, y'all
This is by far one of my favorites series. There is such a stunning mix of pure greatness in this series.
The heroine is a fearless FBI agent who has attitude for miles. I love how she handles all the chauvinistic bs in this male dominating profession. Her mind is brilliant and I'm fascinated with how she profiles these killers and investigate these cases. I wanna be her in another life.
The hero is another incredible draw to this series. He's got that bad boy, don't mess with me vibe. He's actually a very dangerous man but he's also a very good man. I love how he is with Lilah and how he treats their relationship. They are match that is very formidable when it comes to their enemies.
You do need to start with book one because this is a continuous series. Mostly Lilah solves one case in each book but some, like this one will bleed into the next book. I've already reread the previous books and could easily go back and start another re-read. That's how much I enjoy this series. I can't wait for the next one!
Holy cliffhanger!!! Ms. Jones has just put herself in first place for sadist of the year! While I’m snarling and sniping, I knew going in that it would be a cliffie and I also knew that it didn’t matter. Offer me anything with Lilah Love and I’m a goner.
This addition to the series has some mega mysteries, some that we know for sure have carried over from the earlier books, but it also introduces a new villain. Unless it’s somehow not someone new? And that alone causes so much angst and drama.
Bloody Vows has twists and turns, lots of questions and only a few answers along the way. It’s a real nailbiter, as my manicurist will be able to testify to. We also see some quality relationship time with Lilah and Kane which highlights how amazing and swoon worthy Kane really is. For an anti hero, he’s got it going on when it comes time to take care of his woman.
With a fast pace that had me turning pages one after the other, I didn’t want to stop reading. Unfortunately today was a day that I couldn’t sit and read sooo...I used my Talk Back option on my phone to listen to it. It’s just that good!
Bloody Vows’ Lilah Love is once again the Bad Ass detective she has been in all other books but this time I feel as she is beginning to know the real true self. Not the daughter of her famous dead mother, not the daughter of the powerful Mayor running daughter or her highly respected brother and not the fiancé of a highly powerful son of a crime lord but Dectective Lilah F$&*king Love.
This book is a series so you must read book 1 to know who and what each person is in this world of mystery, crime and love.
This book left me very upset because I need the next book now and kept me glued to the pages. Was able to finish this book in one night that is how obsessed I am with this series.
Thank you Lisa for another night of wonderful storytelling 😊
Special Agent Lilah F*****g Love is back. And … with a vengeance. With a ring on her finger and Kane by her side, there’s nothing that could stop her now. Not much surprises Lilah. Not much can rattle Lilah. There is only one thing that could possibly bring her to her knees and destroy her. It’s not a murder scene. It’s not subtle hints that someone is coming for her. It’s not her father. It’s not the Society. She trusts no one except Kane. When clues are left that the recent murder spree may be aimed towards her, she takes the bait and runs with it. But, there’s a problem. A big problem. It’s now up to Lilah to take care of it. And, no doubt about it, she will. First and foremost. You have to read the whole series. From Murder Notes straight through Love Kills. They all tie in together. But, one good thing … you will not be disappointed. Ms. Jones knows how to write Romantic Suspense … she will keep you on the edge of your seat and your heart racing throughout the whole series. I can’t wait to see where Bloody Love is going to take us because she really left us hanging at the end of Bloody Vows. But, I’m not complaining. There is always a method to what makes us crazy with her cliff hangers. I have faith that she will have a huge surprise for us and it better be a good one! If not, Lisa Renee Jones doesn’t have to worry about the Society … I’ll come for her!
In all seriousness, Lisa Renee Jones is a brilliant writer. She is always my go-to author for Romantic Suspense. Her characters are magnificent. The chemistry between them is off the charts. Her minor characters play major rolls and bring the story together. Her story-lines are complex and demanding. They not only tell a story but draw you into the lives and loves of her characters. I love Lilah F*****g Love … she’s no-nonsense, smart and amazing. Please … just read the f*****g series! (Get used to the word … you’ll see it a lot.)
Now this is more like it! We're back at the Hamptons and someone is screwing with Lilah. Again. Someone is really not happy about her engagement to Kane and left her a dead bride as a present. Is it the Society? Is it Junior? Or maybe it's someone new and in need of a thorough education on why it's not a good idea to mess with Lilah. Mmmm, let's see who it is.
Part 5 in the Lilah Love series and Bloody Vows was as good as the other books. Still loving the twists and turns in these books and the changes in the characters. I literally consumed about 75% of this on 1 sitting and then put it aside for a week as I had too much on. So easy to pick up again and another cliff hanger with the new book not coming out till July I think - so a bit of a wait. A solid 4 stars again, can't wait to see what happens next with some of the characters.
I love the Lilah Love series. But, 160 pages for $ 5.99 is crap. The book was great. Can’t wait for the final in this series. When I purchase that one, I’m done. This is about using the public to make more money and I’m not playing. Sorry Lisa Renee Jones, I feel we deserve better than this.
”A family that fights crime together, stays together and alive. It’s a bonding experience.”
4 stars. I cannot even explain how happy I am that Jones continued on with this series because I thought for sure that book four was the end. This new installment was fantastic and just as intense and crazy. It follows on from the plot of books three and four with the Umbrella Man.
Outside of the case I loved seeing Lilah and Kane’s relationship. Lilah has grown so much and I love seeing her be a bit more vulnerable and show her feelings in regards to Kane. It was very cute. The ending was nuts and I need book six right now because I need to know what happened to Kane and where he is. I hope Jones continues on with this series for as long as she can because I love it so much. It’s so underrated.
Facts: Bloody Vows is book #5 of Lilah Love series by NY Times, and USA Today best-selling author Lisa Renee Jones. It is told from the heroine's point of view with a cliffhanger ending of this Lilah Love duet. Genres: Women Sleuths | Romantic Suspense. Tropes: Alpha hero |
Lisa Renee Jones adds another riveting book to her Lilah Love collection kicking off 2021 with heart pounding action and suspense.
Special FBI Agent Lilah Love is one of the best profilers in the US, daughter to a mayor, sister to a chief of police and newly engaged to Kane Mendez, hot Latin king of the oil world with strong ties to drug cartels, and a magnet for murderous villains.
When newly engaged Lilah and Kane arrive at the Hamptons ready to celebrate a “normal” Thanksgiving with her brother, a murder with her name on it – literally – is waiting for her to solve, but with an enemy who won’t stay dead, her old stalker Junior still leaving her murder notes and dysfunctional family drama plaguing her, can she focus enough to catch the bad guy?
I was hooked on this series for several reasons, one of them naturally being the spine-tingling, nail-biting suspenseful plot. There’s also the incredibly smart@$$ Lilah with her dry humor, quick comebacks and low tolerance for B.S., slow and inane people with a soft side only seen by Kane.
Kane of course, is another amazing character with a bad boy vibe, backup up by his very dangerous and real threat to anyone who might think to harm Lilah. The two are perfect for each other and I really like who their relationship has progressed throughout the series.
I can’t wait to read the next installment!
* I was given an ARC of this book courtesy of the author. The excerpts are from that copy. I am voluntarily reviewing this title. *
4.5 stars Lilah Love is back in the fifth instalment of this series and what a great way to find myself back in this world. There are so many twists and turns here, even more questions than before and the suspense it’s just edge of the seat. While some loose ends are being tied up, there are so secrets that come to life, one by one, from her past and more so, about that awful experience when everything started. Addictive end game that will have a resolution in the next and final book, a story that I’m so intrigued and looking forward to reading.
FBI Agent Lilah Love is back with a bang and a cliffhanger of a story.
That had me hooked from the very first page. So much, so I read Bloody Vows in under three hours and was completely captivated by a story that was intriguing, twisty and utterly compelling, and I can't wait for its conclusion.
After the "Umbrella Man" duet, the "Lilah Love" series continues with the fifth installment, "Bloody Vows", which is also the first book of the "Wedding Duet". Although the previous storyline has been closed, the books in the series should be read in the recommended order, as a full understanding of the events and character development requires a knowledge of the back story. While Lisa Renee Jones tries to summarise the previous events in a few sentences, this alone is hardly enough to allow the reader to grasp the series' complex plot fully.
Throughout "Bloody Vows", Lilah and Kane's relationship continues to deepen, especially after he proposes to her again. Although this relationship becomes more important, the novel still does not become a romance book, nor would I call Kane the hero of the book. Lilah remains the heart of the story and her character defines the essence of the series. As an outspoken, determined, and uncompromising FBI profiler, Lilah handles the new murders with her usual professionalism and dedication.
The tension heightens further when, less than a week after their engagement, Lilah finds a bottle of blood with her name on it at a crime scene. What's more, the victim was wearing a wedding dress at the time of her death, so it becomes clear that the killer aims to confuse and distract Lilah.
When a second victim is found, Lilah still disagrees with her colleagues, who suspect a serial killer. She believes two murders do not make someone a serial killer, even if the textbooks say otherwise. This attitude reflects Lilah's unique approach and exceptional investigative skills.
Lisa Renee Jones masterfully heightens the suspense in this book as well, as mysteries from the previous books take a spotlight once again, while new questions arise. "Wedding Duet" opens with this part, and although the end of the story leaves many unanswered questions, the tense and suspenseful plot is guaranteed to keep the reader interested for the next book.
This series is becoming more and more addictive with each book I read and I'm just falling more for Lilah's 𝖻𝖺𝖽𝖺𝗌𝗌 attitude and her bond with Kane.
Even though we have Lilah solving a new case in each duet in this series, please make sure that the books are read in order because we have certain important plots and secrets that have been building right from book 1 including Lilah and Kane's relationship, that will otherwise make no sense if you don't start the series in order.
So, my cuties are engaged... Ahhh... That last scene (of course before that danger twist comes knocking out) has my heart. To see Lilah finally accepting and embracing her feelings for kane and taking their relationship to the next level had me smiling and so happy for them.
But trouble can't stay far away where Lilah is concerned and when she goes with Kane to Hamptons for Thanksgiving, there's a new case to be solved that involves a deleted Would be bride, dressed in a wedding dress, suspicious circumstances because of the way the deletion had happened and a blatant message to Lilah in the form of something that has a connection to the previous deadly case she solved.
Add to it, Junior seems to be back with their cryptic notes/ messages (remember we still don't know if Junior is a He or She) and Lilah is once again in a race against time to nab the culprit before something else happens.
It is really funny at times to see Lilah so unapologetically brash about speaking what's on her mind, but Lilah is Lilah with zero tolerance to any kinda BS. The way she calls the forensics girl, DD the model and her theory for that😅.
Connecting the dots is what Lilah does best but the circumstances present a challenge to find out how those 𝗄𝗂𝗅𝗅𝗂𝗇𝗀𝗌 were done because of the utmost intelligence used to do a 𝗁𝗈𝗋𝗋𝗂𝖿𝗂𝖼 act like that.
And...then.... That ending... What's going to happen. 😨.. Can't wait to find out. Loved this one.♥️
Oh, my goodness - this series just keeps getting better and better. I loved "Bloody Vows", the 5th book in the Lilah Love series. Yes, it ends on a cliffhanger and we have to wait until June to find out the ending of this series, but it is worth it as this book is oh so good.
Lilah and Kane are finally engaged (again) and their lives seem as normal as possible. Until the killings start back and these seem to be personal towards Lilah. The first murder is a woman wearing a wedding dress (Lilah is engaged) and there is pig blood in her fridge with Lilah's name on it. That makes it a little obvious that the message is geared towards Lilah. Then Junior comes back - and his message is all about Kane.
Once again, Lilah doesn't know who she can trust - her father (questionable); Kane (of course); her brother (she wants to, but isn't sure); Samantha (no way); Lucas (she wants to, but not sure); Director Murphy (again, she wants to, but she isn't sure); the new medical examiner (not really); police officers (not really); Kane's security staff (she wants to because Kane does), etc.
This book has Lilah questioning her relationships with folks while she is watching her back (and Kane's). "Bloody Vows" ends on a cliffhanger where the readers don't really know the status of Lilah and Kane, but we are all hoping that both are okay and can reach their HEA. I'll be one of the first in line in June to read the final book in the series.
If you haven't read this series, please do - it's fast paced, very likable and addictive. I look forward to reading the last book, but I really don't want Lilah & Kane's story to be over.
I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review. The opinions stated above are mine without biases.
Lilah Love and Kane Mendez are now engaged but death doesn’t give them much time to celebrate before the bodies start piling up again. When the first victim is found wearing a wedding dress it’s obvious someone is sending a message direct to Lilah leaving her once again facing a murderer who seems to be targeting her.
With twists and turns galore that hints at a wider conspiracy, this suspense-filled plot had me so engrossed from the first page I was almost afraid to blink as I was reading in case I missed something. With new characters thrown in the mix – just who are they and what are their real objectives? Do they really have ulterior motives or is Lilah just seeing shadows that aren’t there? This story just doesn’t let up for second even with if it does come with a cliff hanger that had me screaming NO!!! I also love the development of Kane and Lilah’s relationship and actually seeing them grow as a couple. Kane’s hesitation in sharing his secrets might lead to problems but he seems to instinctively know exactly when to push and when to step back when it comes to Lilah whereas she is finally opening up and realising that Kane may be the one person in the world she can actually trust.
This is one of my most favourite series ever, even though right now I hate the author for that ending and keeping me waiting until 29th June for the conclusion to the story. As a late comer to the Lilah Love books I’ve been spoilt in being able to read the previous books back to back so the cliff hangers weren’t an issue but I’m sure it will be worth the wait. I strongly advise any new readers to start to start at the beginning as the main plot line does run through the series
4.5 stars--BLOODY VOWS is the fifth instalment in Lisa Renee Jones’ contemporary, adult LILAH LOVE suspense series focusing on the ‘take no prisoners’ and unfiltered FBI agent Lilah Love. BLOODY VOWS can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty but I recommend reading the series in order for back story and cohesion.
Told from first person point of view (Lilah) BLOODY VOWS follows FBI agent Lilah Love as she is tasked, by her brother Sheriff Andrew Love, to investigate the latest murder, that may or may not be directed at our story line heroine. Throughout the series, the group known as the Society, has been circling our heroine, a group with a selective membership of politically and financially powerful people including Lilah and Andrew’s father, a man about to run for state governor. With the recent takedown of a serial killer intent on murdering our story line heroine, a new but potentially more familiar killer with connections to the Society, is setting the stage to pull Lilah into a thrilling mystery of who, what, why and how. As Lilah begins to uncover the clues to the murder of a pair of sisters linked to a virtual game of power and murder, the disappearance of two people close to our heroine, sets the stage for a cliff hanger.
BLOODY VOWS is another story of power, betrayal, murder and control. Lisa Renee Jones pens another thrilling story of mystery, intrigue, passion and love focusing on a strong, forceful and unconventional FBI agent whose staggering ability to solve crime is matched by the crimes she is trying to solve. The premise is twisted and haunting; the characters are quirky, intelligent and complex. BLOODY VOWS ends on a cliff hanger-you have been warned.
Lisa Renee Jones is back with another exciting book in the Lilah Love Series and I’m happy I’m all caught up! There is never a dull moment in the life of Lilah Love and Kane Mendez.
Lilah finds herself on yet another interesting case that may hit on her private life again. As in previous books in the Lilah Love Series she is a top notch profiler for the FBI, she knows how to catch a killer.
Kane Mendez dangerously sexy as he is undeniably dangerous. Now things turn interesting because now he is missing. Is it because of the case Lilah is working or something else?
Lilah and Kane share a past along with some deep dark secrets that could possibly ruin them. The list is growing of who has it out for their happiness. Now with Lilah’s attention divided between trying to find Kane who has gone off her radar and two murders that may or may not have anything to do with her. There is never the lack of intensity between Kane and Lilah.
The supporting characters in Bloody Vows just keep getting more interesting. Ms. Jones likes to keep her readers on the edge as she reveals more about Lilah and Kane’s story. In Bloody Vows the plot thickens. The characters both main and supporting continue to give me an amazing level of suspense, family and hope. The twists and turns in Bloody Vows from start to finish kept me reading late into the night, and while some of those twists and turns may have been predictable, it didn’t stop my enjoyment of the story. I love well-written action, suspenseful read.
BLOODY VOWS is the fifth book in the Lilah Love series. The Lilah Love series is made up of three duets: The Murder Duet (Murder Notes and Murder Girl), The Umbrella Man Duet (Love Me Dead and Love Kills) and The Wedding Duet (Bloody Vows and Bloody Love) - you do need to read all of the books in order.
The new mystery is scary and engaging. Is the Society threatening Lilah and Kane or is it “just” a random stalker?
I love how Lilah is now claiming her place beside Kane. Nothing and nobody is getting between her and her and her man… and he has always felt the same way about her. She trusts him when she has never trusted anyone.
Lisa Renee Jones knows how to write Romantic Suspense and I don’t know if I should say the emphasis is on the former or the latter. They are equally important to her and the reader. This book and this series are excellent. Of course it ends with a cliffhanger…. a major cliffhanger, and the next book is months away. I just may die waiting for it! This is one of my favorite series, two of my favorite characters, one of my favorite authors. If need be, I will beg St. Peter for extra days, just to get to the last book in this series.
Note: While I received this book as a gifted ARC, my opinions are my own and are given freely.
Title: BLOODY VOWS Series: Lilah Love #5 Category /Genre: Contemporary Romance Recommended for: 18+ due to sexual content Grammar/editing: book received as an unedited ARC / errors excused Received from: Lisa Renee Jones
Another 5 STAR MUST READ in the Lilah Love Series. Bloody Vows continues the not so conventional love story of FBI profiler Lilah Love and Kane Mendez who happens to be the son of a cartel boss. Lisa has done it again, mixing suspense and romance she has written a story I couldn’t put down. Lilah continues to become the center of another serial kilker’s game. This time, it’s more personal. She’s smart, beautiful, fiercely independent, and trusts no one except those she’s close to and that’s very limited. Kane continues to be her weakness. He has from the moment they met. Kane is as protective as ever. As with Lilah, he only trusts a select few. He’s a good man with a not so good family heritage that he will use if he absolutely has too. Lisa has continued the Lilah Love series with suspense and passion from the very first page. Keeping Lilah and Kane’s past part of their ongoing story, she adds new layers to their already complex relationship. Bloody Vows, the fifth book in the series, is comprised of different duets based on the relationship between Lilah and Kane, should not be read independently of the previous books. Each duet is a separate murder case but references are made with the other cases and has certain players mentioned throughout the series. I I received an advance copy of Bloody Vows in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are mine and we’re not influenced by the author or her promotional team.

I swear this series is trying to give me emotional whiplash and Bloody Vows is no exception. Lisa Renee Jones delivers another fast-paced, twist-heavy installment in the Lilah Love series, complete with danger, obsession, and just enough answers to raise ten more questions.
Lilah’s life is pure chaos in the best (and most stressful) way. She’s engaged to Kane Mendez aka the man everyone else fears but who perfectly matches her darkness and their relationship continues to be one of the strongest, most compelling parts of the series. They get each other in a way no one else could. But any hopes of a peaceful future are ripped away as old enemies resurface, Junior’s shadow looms larger, and someone clearly wants Lilah’s attention… in blood.
The case of the dead woman in the bloody wedding dress is chilling and symbolic, layered with the kind of psychological messaging this series does so well. Nothing is accidental, and every clue feels personal. Add in Lilah’s wildly dysfunctional (and strangely lovable) family, and the tension never lets up.
But let’s talk about that ending. I hate cliffhangers, and this one is brutal. Is Kane dead or alive? Was Pocher behind what happened, or is someone else pulling the strings? And how many villains are we really dealing with here? I closed this book equal parts thrilled and furious, desperately needing answers now.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
This story was a page turner I couldn’t put down. Lilah Love and Kane Mendez are once again engaged and are returning to the Hamptons to celebrate Thanksgiving, when she receives a call from her brother, the police chief, that a murder has occurred involving a woman in a wedding dress.
Is it a coincidence? Is someone trying to scare this fierce FBI profiler? Then they don't know her very well because she doesn't scare easily. But of course this is just the start of a eventful weekend for these pair as around every turn is another threat. Lilah Love will deliver justice one way or another, but is this an old enemy or a new killer that has arrived to torment her once again? But one thing is for sure, the cast of characters that she trusts is getting smaller and smaller as she takes on this new threat.
I loved the sizzling chemistry between Kane and Lilah these two seem to be all in finally with each other and I can't wait to see how this ends for them.
A real page turner I was deliberately vague about the circumstances and what Lilah and Kane endured so please go in blind ad enjoy this wild ride like I did. This will blow you away!
I received a copy in exchange for a honest review.
Wow! Just Wow! This latest book in the Lilah Love series had me pulled in from the start and kept my attention until the jaw dropping cliffhanger of an end. For me the cliffhanger begins at least two to three chapters from the last on in book five. For reasons I can not say without revealing what happens in the book. Ms Jones knows how to capture your attention with the suspense and drama that Lilah Love books are centered around. We can not forget the love and connection between Lilah and Kane Mendez. In this book you really get to see a side of Kane not always seen in the previous books. The man really loves Lilah and will do whatever it takes to keep her safe. This book has the reader wondering what will happen next and has you wondering if one of Lilahs's other named suspects has returned to taunt her. For me it also had me guessing if maybe the one writing her notes was a woman instead of what people may perceive or automatic think may be a man. There are a lot of questions that prop up while reading this latest book. Newly introduced characters that have you wondering if they are on the side of good or maybe part of Pocher's underlings. This book had me on the edge of my seat the whole time and I can not wait to find out what will happen next in Bloody Love, book 6.
Bloody Vows gives fans what they love most about a Lilah Love book. It has murder, mayhem and the less than warm and fuzzy family gatherings. Just what readers need and want as we follow this woman as she learns to accept herself and find out what she needs and wants in life.
Starting right where Love Kills left off, Lilah and her fiance Kane Mendez heading for the Hampton's for a holiday visit with her brother. You would think that the bond between the two men would become a bit warmer considering the ending of Love Kills but nope ... according to her cop brother Kane is still a bad choice for his sister.
Still the visit doesn't go nearly as expected as she is called into the investigation of the murder of a woman in a bridal gown. Is that the Society (a secretive group of power brokers who support Lilah's father in his political career using whatever it takes to win) warning the couple of their plans for her future? They also receive news that someone they thought was out of the picture is still very much alive and well.
This is a fantastic read with Lilah Love at her foul mouthed best and ... yes it ends in a heart stopping cliffhanger as is expected because Lisa Renee Jones does cliffhanger so well.
These are fun, light crime stories with a female protagonist that are only meant to be that. To enjoy this story, you have to 1, be willing to read the entire series, and 2, be okay with cliffhangers and a lack of resolution.
I get that Jones likes to leave cliffhangers, and that this is part of the larger story arc, but after reading all 5 books in this series within a week, they feel less like individual novels that are a part of a larger universe or story, and more like a single story that has been broken into pieces that don't stand on their own.
What I'm missing is the conflict around which the character grows - there doesn't seem to be any growth or resolution. Lilah does grow to accept Kane, and his love for her, but that happened in the last book. There is plenty of conflict, but other than the occasional use of manners instead of an expletive, Lilah is stagnant.
I'm sure I will read the 6th book when it comes out because I don't like hanging endings, but that is akin to finishing a show just to finish it, even when it should have ended after season 3.
I LOVE Lisa Renee Jones' books so very much, and I definitely LOVE me some Lilah Love. She's a FBI agent, and total bada** heroine that I'll never get enough of. These days she's engaged to Kane Mendez, a man the world believes is dangerous, but Lilah has her own dangerous part as well. This story starts with an enemy coming back from the grave, plus her creative letter writer stirring the pot, but then there's the dead woman in a bloody wedding dress to really get things going. Oh, and her family, LOL! (Enough said) Lisa Renee Jones is an expert in weaving together suspense like no other, as the twists are always a shock & come in hot which gets my loud f-bombs dropping. The moment I started Bloody Vows I knew I was tucked in until every last page was devoured, and now I'm actually ready to start the series all over again one after another (you have to read them in order by the way). I'm telling y'all, you CANNOT go wrong with this author, and EVERYONE needs Lilah Love in their lives so get to one clicking! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ALL!
