Born in England, but raised in Australia, Sasha has a love for both countries. Having her heart in two places has created a love for travel, which at last count was to over 55 countries. A travel guide is always on her pile of new books to read. Sasha lives with her husband, her university student daughter and a cat who demands a starring role in the next book. She has found new hiding spots for her secret chocolate stash.
When a Rogue Falls by Sasha Cottman 5 Stars Sir Stephen Moore had a difficult childhood so love will never be on the cards. When the Countess of Linton is blackmailed over her card cheating her son Tristan enlists Stephen’s help but it’s Lady Bridget Dyson. Tristan’s widowed sister who has to deal with Stephen. When they catch the blackmailer Bridget is no longer Stephen’s client so a night of passion ensues but the consequences leave them both reeling. I loved this book Bridget & Stephen both fall hard for each other but he's never known love & is frightened of it so hides his feelings & nearly scuppers their budding relationship. I read this delightful engrossing read in a sitting
Escaping the Earl by Lauren Smith 5 Stars Sabrina Talleyrand is desperate to avoid being ‘sold’ by her brother in to a forced marriage to pay his debts so the only way out is to be compromised. The best man for the job is a handsome stranger she meets at a ball. Unbeknownst to her, the man she chooses as her lover is Peregrine Ashby, the dashing new Earl of Rutland. When Sabrina and Peregrine’s one night of passion has more consequences than simply stopping an unwanted marriage, Peregrine must win back Sabrina’s broken heart. Strong characters & a fast paced story had me devouring this lovely novella
This Rogue of Mine by Amanda Mariel 4 Stars Lady Cordelia Daventry may be a spinster, but she has not given up all hope. When she finds herself alone with the well-known rogue Nathaniel Lowell, Viscount Wolverton, she embraces her chance to experience desire. Now they must face the consequences of their actions. An honourable rake & an untrusting spinster made for a delightful read
Loving My Wicked Rogue by Dawn Brower 4 Stars When Lady Francesca finds herself in a delicate condition she has a decision to make. Instead of discerning what she should do on her own she pays Mathew, the Duke of Lindsey a call and unburdens her troubles on him. Hoping, he will do the gentlemanly thing and take responsibility for the dilemma he helped create. I loved the mature Francesca but disliked Mathew at the beginning, however I did love how he was redeemed
The Trouble with Rogues by Nadine Millard 5 Stars Ophelia Delacourt daughter of the deceased Earl of Batten & his French mistress has made it her life’s mission to teach poor, unsuspecting ladies about the dangers of rogues, rakes, and rapscallions. When one of her protégés faces ruin, Ophelia rushes to her rescue. And right into the path of one such troublesome rogue, Caleb Feldman, Marquis of Guilford. When he sees a mysterious, dark-haired siren floating through his party, for the first time in a long time, Caleb feels the excitement of the hunt. Their encounter is not what either of them expects. Another well written engrossing read, which I read in a sitting. I absolutely adored the road to their HEA, nothing like a rake & rogue being tamed.
My Lord, My Rogue by Anna St. Claire 4.5 Stars Lady Honora Radcliff was betrothed to the catch of the Season. Too much champagne with a stranger leaves her life in tatters and married to the abusive man. To escape, she fakes her death. Lord Benjamin Crewe accepts a dangerous assignment and discovers the woman he wished he’d married—only she’s been “dead” three years. His pursuit endangers both their lives. Another emotion filled read, I really liked both Honora & Benjamin but it was Oliver & Riggs who stole the book. I did have to resort to a hankie in this book, once again I devoured it in a sitting Six lovely novellas, of course I preferred some to others but all are delightful reads & ideal for whiling away a few hours My honest review is for a special copy I voluntarily read

Will his unfamiliarity with strong sentiments keep him from a possible loving family…
Oh now I understand, I was quite lost when I read The Rogue and The Jewel, as it was set after this one story. I wondered when I missed something in this series. So be forewarned, read this novella before the 4th release in this series.
I just loved this addition to this fun series. Bridget is a heroine as I like them, she is not perfect but stands her ground and faces any challenge her head held high. Despite having been wounded by her callous late husband, and swore to never remarry. But she is rather open to a potential affair. Stephen having never known what a warm home might feel, he is unable to comprehend his friends councils nor grasp what he might be missing. Still, his father’s passing brought a last surprise to his doorstep and his new mission awakens sentiments deeper than mere lust.
I loved to watch them interacting together. Stephen is oblivious of the feelings Bridget unearths, denying himself any possible happiness because he fears he has not been built to be a family man. When Bridget does not fear to revise her own oath if it is the right path, but she will not rush her heart again for crumbs of affection, it is all or nothing. 5 stars

𝗠𝘆 𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄 A sweet and spicy Cinderella retelling with a sort of fairy godfather. Sabrina is desperate enough to offer her virtue to a total stranger if it might prevent her from a much gruesome avenir. Yet, fate did her a favor in selecting a kind and careful gentleman. Peregrine was instantly smitten by the stranger who offered herself to him then left him. He regretted having been unable to learn her name. Now she is just a cherished memory. A cute story of two people circumstances tore apart but kind persons brought back together. 3.75 rounded up.

I remember when I read the previous novella to wonder about the heroine’s « friend » fate. So here I have my answers. I say friend with quote marks because whose friend would steal the man a woman loves… Honora was the « villain » in others stories, the mean girl, in her way a bully. So it looks like life had a way to backfire with her own deeds. Still nothing justify abuse, even a miserly woman does not deserve it. So here is her redeeming story. Benjamin liked Honora from afar, until he thought she was dead. So when he sees her again, he has to reconcile himself with the idea and decide if he will let this time his heart speak.
After in all, I liked the heroine acknowledged her poor choices and actions, asking for forgiveness. It humbled her, demonstrating her own flaws and weakness. It also changer her, making her doubt herself in her wisdom upon deciding what was right or not. 4 stars
FANTASTIC READ!!! When a Rogue Falls by Sasha Cottman is one of the stories in the Hello Rogue collection by 6 truly amazing authors. If the other 5 stories were as good as When a Rogue Falls then you are in for quite the treat. This original and great story is Sasha at her best and I so enjoyed reading it. I could not put it down. The characters are wonderful and I just love the aristocrats being such bad boys and the women they fall in with. This regency story is easy to read and full of excitement and is also tad sad as well. This story has an abused widow, blackmail, not sleeping with a client, not knowing how to love, an uncaring father, risking one’s life, true friends, injury, smuggling, a little brother, learning to care, kindness, mistrust, a brave women and yes… falling in love. I am highly recommending you read this story and this book as it really was a great read.
**This book was gifted to me and I am voluntarily reviewing.
These six stories explore the outcome when rogues are faced with the aftermath of a night of pleasure. Enjoy the reactions as the ladies approach their gentleman to give him the happy news -- or in some cases, a surprise they never expected. Below is a review of one of the stories by a favorite author of mine whose stories are amazing. I hope you will agree, and enjoy the other wonderful stories as well.
Titles included are:
1. WHEN A ROGUE FALLS By Sasha Cottman 2. ESCAPING THE EARL By Lauren Smith 3. THIS ROGUE OF MINE By Amanda Mariel 4. LOVING MY WICKED ROGUE By Dawn Brower 5. THE TROUBLE WITH ROGUES By Nadine Millard 6. MY LORD, MY ROGUE By Anna St. Claire
*** Reviewing “LOVING MY WICKED ROGUE” by Dawn Brower *** Francesca and Matthew’s Story . . . For her family’s Christmas party, Lady Francesca Kendall was making Christmas decorations with her cousin, Lady Adeline Carwyn. Adeline was so talented and beautiful, but Francesca had to stop comparing herself to her when there was nothing she could change about herself. Adeline went up to bed while Francesca finished her ornament and cleaned up the supplies. As she rounded the corner to go to her bedchamber, she fell against a man. He invited her to stroll with him since he was leaving in the morning. His name was Matthew, and he took her breath away with his charm and good looks. He told her he believed they were destined to be acquainted, and she just barely held in her sigh. She had never known desire, but she wanted this man and did not refuse his kiss. She hardly knew what was happening as he touched her. But he said she was his destiny, so this had to be right.
Many weeks later, after he had disappeared, she faced the result of what they had done. And she didn’t even know his last name to try to find him. Someone must know him? He had attended their family gathering. If she could not find him, she would tell her parents what happened. Now they were in London for her comeout ball, staying with her grandfather, the Duke of Weston. Her mother, Scarlett Kendall, the Marchioness of Blackthorn, joined her in the garden. She had dreamed of a dark-haired man with her daughter, perhaps the one she would fall in love with, she said. But Francesca knew he didn’t love her.
Matthew Grant, the Duke of Lindsey, stared out the window, unhappy that his mother, Agatha, the Dowager Duchess of Lindsey, decided it was time for him to marry to produce an heir. His thoughts turned to the woman who had been the only good thing he’d ever had in his life. He should not have taken her as he did. He almost wished he could find her again, but she would be far better off finding a gentleman who could love her. He didn’t think he knew how to love. Will the two of them ever find each other again? Will the child she carries and the love they shared, whether recognized as “love” or not, bring them together and make them the family they both need?
This author writes the very best of stories, and this is no exception. Grab this wonderful box set and enjoy the work of these talented authors!
My Lord, My Rogue, by Anna St. Clair. I found this book a cute read for young people who are in love with love. The story was a charming love story to sigh over once you’ve finished. This Rogue of Mine, by Amanda Mariel. Whoah, this short story brought some heat. I enjoyed the book. The writer did a great job of capturing my attention. I clung on to the story to the end. The book is intimate and sensual. The writer was focused on the loving couple who brought the steam and then some. Awesome writing.
Escaping the Earl, by Lauren Smith. I enjoyed this little read. The writer did a great job with the romance between Sabrina and Peregrine that forged ahead like a steam boat. There were some steamy moments that set some wording on fire. That’s always a plus for me. The plot of the story was a very interesting one. I definitely did a excellent job of supplying entertainment for the readers. The books with a good pace. I enjoyed how easy it was to read the story. The story wasn’t dull at all. I think more so this book brings some heat that is good for the plucking.
When a Rogue Falls, by Sasha Cottman. I enjoyed the mystery and the drama of this story. Bridget and Stephen I believe made somewhat of a good detective duo. I understood the story very well. The story was written very clearly for the reader to follow the plot to the story. The dialogue and conversations was easy to follow. The story didn’t lead down a dull path to where the reader loses interest in the story. I have to say that the love affair between Stephen and Bridget was very spicy. The writing of the scenes leaves the reader imagining all sorts of juicy things that the two partook in when all was settled in their lives. The entertainment of the story was great.
These stories are about love, lust and the consequences thereof! If you want hot heroes and some hot headed heroines then these novellas are for you! Get set to laugh, cry and want smack someone upside the head! Absolutely loved all of these!
Oh I loved all of these! They were all simply stunning and lovely. I cannot even BEGIN to describe just how good they were. I voluntarily read and reviewed this book.
One well crafted boxset that brings pleasure in its devouring! A collection of well thought out and emotionally entangling stories that captivate and really make you root for each of the six couples and their happy, if hard won, ever afters. Each with its own unique spin on dealing with the unexpected consequences that stem from one moment of passion and desire driven madness. As each strong and resourceful heroine captures the heart, respect and devotion of our heroes whether she really claims to want it or not.
When a Rogue Falls by Sasha Cottman: A tremendous way to start the collection and an engaging addition to Sasha Cottman's refreshing Rogues of the Road Series. Fixer and renowned rogue, Stephen, might be able to stamp out scandal before it begins but love, well that is a whole other enigma. No string attachments are his signature. Which is just perfect for widowed Bridget, who just wants to experience passion to douse the belittling and taunting cruelty of her late husband. But can intimacy ever really come without impacting the heart? Mix in being forced to work together to hunt out a blackmailer and watch how those sparks fly. I loved the magnetic draw that pulls the pair together fuelled by sharp wit and intrigue. But more delightfully how it combusts into a steamy attraction, so steeped in sexual tension that the allure of intimacy and crackling connection just jumped from the page and sucked me in from their first tempestuous introduction and followed them through each clue found, trail followed and passion explored.
Escaping the Earl by Lauren Smith: Selfish machination forces Sabrina to willingly seek her ruin in the hope of running from a life that promises nothing but misery and neglect. Being determined to grasp her future with both hands may temporarily encase Sabrina anonymously in Peregrine's comforting embrace but can capturing a blissfully tender and passionate moment under the stars really gift her freedom? Twists and turns force separation, bond friendships and reveal uncertainities but can two so lost and starved of intimate connection truly find a future together. Great fluidity and engaging plotline, dazzling characters, familiar faces and sweet chemistry adds life, humour, wit and warmth to this well written tale. That made me cry, smile and remain glued until the end. [Man it's crazy how much I can't wait to hear more from the couple's charismatic friend Rafe and his adorably sweet relationship with his endearing adopted daughter, Isla. Eyes peeled for the next addition to Lauren Smith's League of Rogues series]
This Rogue of Mine by Amanda Mariel: Animosity, misunderstanding, manipulative games and reputation force a smouldering connection and simmering attraction - born from a moment of comfort - to become clouded by fear and resentment. But, can they both get past their misperceptons to the true kind and loving people beneath it? If only they can holster their anger enough to break through the fear to find honesty and love. Both reeling from parental disapproval and insecurities derived from those said failings and disregard, made this one rocky road to love. Deep down I liked them both from the first you can really feel their frustration and pain. Even Cordelia's constant angst, that made her rather hypocritical and increasingly hard to swallow with her contrary attitude, eventually won me over fully in the end. Especially as circumstances and desperation shaped their desires as she fought to protect herself, fuelled by her lack of reasons to trust, that forced the wounded and scared innocent to snarl as she felt backed into a corner. An emotional hot house of emotional tormoil that will leave you wanting more!
Loving My Wicked Rogue by Dawn Brower: Instant attraction and charm work there magic on soon to debut, Francesca, and sworn from love, Matthew, as one moment of passion leads to a gift neither expected to receive. Anger, disappointment, painful demons and a magnetic draw, that simmers and burns beneath the surface, forces two to reaccess who they truly are and what they are not willing to live without. I really loved this!! Cesca's spark and steadfast levelheadedness that emerged from one moment of naviety and innocence really made me cheer for her happiness. I instantly liked her grit and delighted in how she inadvertently broke through Matthew's walls of nonchalance, arrogance and wounded bore attitude to the marshmellow beneath. Fabulous, emotionally effecting, story telling!
The Trouble With Rogues by Nadine Millard: Well written, engaging and believable with characters that really create a picture in your mind, are relatible, entertaining and really get under your skin. Ophelia, so afraid of becoming her mother, settles for the life of a spinster and teacher until one spoilt hoyden of a charge leads her into the path of a notorious rake, Caleb, and makes her question her safe choices. Caleb, outgrowing his roguish lifestyle and wallowing in his need for more meaning in his life, collides with, and fast becomes intrigued by the anonymous fire ball miss. As she instantly douses his boredom, peaks his curiosity and draws him in like no other. Can one night filled by desire fuelled discovery be enough? This was one marvellous tale brimming with sexual chemistry and sharp wit as one taste of passion sparks and ignites into something so heartwarmingly intimate and raw. A touchingly joyful and fun read!
My Lord, My Rogue by Anna St Claire: Anna St Claire, sucked me straight in with her well written, fascinating tale, rife with emotion, intriguing characters, harrowing circumstances and mystery. Where romance, conspiracy, redemption and espionage collide as Benjamin seeks to woo the heart of the one he thought forever lost. Honora having paid greatly for one naive and misguided plan, finds herself not only hurtfully jilting her childhood friend, whilst being infatuated with another, but left drowning in the deep water of an abusive marriage and desperately grasping for escape. Three years later, having faked her own death, her past rides to meet her forcing her to expose the secrets that have so long festered. But can love break through a wall of selfdoubt and caution to find the vibrant confidence and spark she once had? It took one: fast paced, fun, heartwarmingly romantic and achingly fraught array of twists and turns - with a good overshadowing of espionage induced peril - to make this an adventure that kept me hooked until the end. Such a beautiful tale about the power of forgiveness and second chances!
Resulting in a wonderful way to end a boxset by 6 such gifted story weavers. Where each additional tale feeds into a compelling individual series that I will eagerly be hunting out and devouring in the future!!!
What a treat! Six saucy stories with strong female characters and the devilishly handsome rogues who realize that they can’t live without them. This collection has passion, danger, surprise pregnancies and lots of strong emotions. Each story is well written, engaging, clever, and easily imaginable. This collection is a wonderful way to introduce you to the creativity and writing style of different authors, some of whom may be new to you. If you are a fan of rogues and romance, this is definitely a collection that should be in your library!
When a Rogue Falls (Rogues of the Road) - Sasha Cottman Stephen and Bridget This is such a wonderful addition to the Rogues of the Road series. Stephen’s mother abandoned him and his father was cold, mean and absent. He had no idea what it meant to have a family or love someone. Bridget just finished her year of mourning after the death of her cruel husband. An issue regarding her family brought them together, and they needed to determine what to do about their mutual attraction. This is a steamy story with action, heartache and great emotion. The closeness between the rogues is brought to life through their banter and teasing, yet they clearly care for and depend upon each other. Bridget is a bright light, Tobey is a ray of sunshine and Stephen is a moth drawn to them both. Fabulous story in an amazing series!
Escaping the Earl - Lauren Smith Sabrina and Peregrine Sabrina found out that her brother promised her hand to an odious man to whom he owed money, and that a doctor was coming to assure her maidenhood. Desperate, she snuck out to attend a masquerade ball with the intent to ruin herself. She had the most magical experience with Peregrine, but masks stayed on and names were not exchanged. Fast forward and circumstances put them together again. This story is about fate, faith and friendship. For Peregrine, it is about letting go and holding on. It is so easy to get caught up in this story. The characters are genuine. There are several surprises and the story is gripping. Very well done!
This Rogue of Mine - Amanda Mariel Cordelia and Nathaniel This story is about a spinster and a rogue who needed to learn to trust each other. An offer of comfort turned into a moment of passion between Cordelia and Nathaniel, which led to her being forced marry a man she feared would break her heart. This author does an amazing job of bringing emotions to life. You can feel their frustration and anguish as they each deal with parental disappointment and the fear of disappointing each other. This is a quick heartfelt story that will leave you wanting more.
Loving my Wicked Rogue - Dawn Brower Francesca and Matthew I do so enjoy her stories. The characters are always complex and interesting, the story is littered with surprises and the ending is always happy. At her family’s Christmas party, Francesca met a gorgeous man named Matthew, who swept her off her feet. Seven weeks later, she realized the consequences of their actions, but she had no idea who he really was. When she does find him, and tells him the news, the confrontation is spectacular. What follows is an emotional breakthrough, secret vows, declarations of love and a bundle of joy. This is quick, spirited and fun to read!
The Trouble with Rogues - Nadine Millard Ophelia and Caleb Loved it! Ophelia was the daughter of an earl and his mistress. When he died, his son sent her to finishing school under the guise of being his impoverished cousin. When she outgrew the school, she stayed as a teacher. Through a series of unusual events, she met Caleb, who was known as the Wicked Marquess due to his debauchery. One night’s curioisity led them both to a different path. The supporting characters are quite interesting, a shy student; a reckless teenager; a stuffy earl; a concerned headmistress; a viscount’s daughter, and a loving mother. I really enjoyed how the author used Ophilia’s and Caleb’s inner dialogue to endear the characters to the reader. Oh, and the ending is fabulous.
My Lord, My Rogue - Anna St. Claire Honora and Benjamin Honora’s husband duped her into a marriage that became both physically and emotionally abusive. Pregnant and scared he would harm her unborn child, she faked her death and hid for three years, as there was a real threat that her husband’s family would take away her child. One wonderful aspect of this story is the relationship between Honora and her Mother, Father and Aunt. At a time when many families would have let their daughter struggle due to her poor choices, they rallied around her with unconditional love and support. Benjamin worked for the Crown and was on assignment in Bath when he and his best friend happened upon Honora. What Benjamin and Honora discovered, was that they had each been longing for other, but neither knew it. This story has a wide range of emotion, potential danger, and a villian to catch. The relationship between Benjamin and Honora is sweet and they are adorable together. It will keep your attention and leave you smiling.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I have read 4 of the 6 books in this anthology - all were 5 Stars & I have left a brief review of each one of the four.
WHEN A ROGUE FALLS by Sasha Cottman - Sir Stephen Moore, whose business card only said, "Discretion assured. Results guaranteed." which explained it perfectly & he was very good at solving/taking care of problems for a fee. He is an unloved (by both parents) renown rogue & his past has frozen his heart & soul. Lady Bridget Dyson is beautiful, widowed a year after a horrible marriage & has hired Stephen when her Mother is threatened with blackmail & not complying could ruin the Bridget's family. Their romance is filled with desire, but he cannot give more until Bridget informs him, he is going to be a father. A rocky road prevails but good friends, a strong lady, & a little brother he didn't know he had, wear the walls down around Stephen's heart. A wonderful & touching story with lovable characters & tissues were needed a couple of times! 💜
ESCAPING THE EARL by Lauren Smith - Sabrina Talleyrand is being sold to a bad man to clear her brother's debts. The only solution is to be ruined before the doctor examines her per the horrible man's request before he marries her. So, she sneaks off to a masquerade ball & is instantly drawn to a tall, dark man that she tells her story to him in the garden. The stranger is Peregrine Ashby, new Earl of Rutland he is instantly drawn to Sabrina & agrees to take her maidenhood. They leave the ball never knowing each other's name or removing their masks. Neither one forgot that night but several things happen & unknowingly they meet again -but after their second indiscretion, there are consequences of the passion between them but how can Peregrine win Sabrina's heart? This was a sigh worthy HEA! 💜
THE TROUBLE WITH ROGUES by Nadine Millard - Ophelia Delacourt was born on the wrong side of the blanket to a now deceased earl & his French mistress. The earl left provisions for his mistress & daughter - one being that Ophelia would be well educated. She was sent to a girl's school & is now a tutor at the well-known school. She leads a private spinster life until she meets Caleb Feldham, Marquess of Guilford, the scandalous man in the scandal sheets known for his wild parties & behavior. He was also known for his handsome face, body & way with the ladies. The clash when she discovers one of her students attending his parties is explosive but for some reason, she cannot forget him nor him her. Caleb has grown tired of the wicked ways he was raised by his now dead father & brother & wants Ophelia - they have a slow-burn love that is fabulous! 💜
MY LORD, MY ROGUE by Anna St. Claire - I loved this book & the wonderful couple & secondary characters. It is a sweet, emotion filled story (a little sweeter than I usually read but very good) but with a wonderful HEA! I experienced so many different feelings in reading the book; sadness for Honor's horrible treatment by an abusive husband & how she was forced to fake her death - I was angry at the way she had given Adam the "Dear John" treatment - I laughed at the antics & love between Honora's son, Oliver & his puppy, Riggs - I felt the love, warmth & protection given to Honora from her family/friend/servants - I needed tissues when Adam forgave Honora - and lastly, smiles & sighs felt when, at last, Benjamin & Honora found their HEA! 💜
A great group of stories about beautiful, vulnerable women and the rogues they fall in love with. I loved these books because they showed that there are consequences for your actions. The stories are romantic and just what you would expect from such accomplished authors. There is a masquerade, a fake death, an uptight school teacher, a blackmailer, a planned compromise, and a spinster. All of the stories are romantic with wonderful characters that make you want to keep reading. I would definitely recommend this book!
This anthology contained six beautifully written stories with strong women. I thoroughly enjoyed each one and found it left me wishing for each novella to be longer. I didn't want the stories to end!
Anthology of 6 stories, ranging from novel length to novella. Themes for all of the stories: men and women who have no plans to marry, but do anyway due to unexpected pregnancy. Steam level medium—they mostly end up pregnant, after all. Some good stories make it worth getting. Since the theme is unexpected pregnancy and these are historical romances (so, guaranteed HEA), I’m not marking this as having spoilers, but the basic stories are described below, listed by author.
Sasha Cottman
This is part of the Rogues of the Road series. I thought I had started it, but it turns out I had read several books in the Duke of Strathmore series, which is linked slightly to this one. Basically, this isn’t book one, but can be read as a standalone (I did).
Bridget’s mother cheats at cribbage and when she is blackmailed, Bridget’s brother calls in a fixer, Stephen, one of the Rogues of the Road, to help. Bridget and Stephen solve the mystery of who is blackmailing Bridget’s mother, fall for each other, get pregnant, get married, and then work out their relationship. In that order. I enjoyed the book, as I have enjoyed several of Cottman’s other books, and will be looking for other installments of the Rogues series next. Somewhat steamy but not OTT. This one is pretty much a full length book.
Lauren Smith
Sabrina learns she is expected to marry the man holding her brother’s debt. The man expects her to be a virgin, so she decides to fail the test. She attends a masquerade ball and meets Peregrine, seduces him, and runs away from her brother’s house. The rest of the book (not a very long one) is the path back to each other, made difficult by the fact that neither of them knows who the other is (masked balls being what they are). Slightly steamy. Part of Smith’s League of Rogues series, and I’ll be looking for other installments since this author is new to me, and I enjoyed this story.
Amanda Mariel
Cordelia wants to experience passion even though she has resigned herself to life as a spinster. Rogue Nathaniel obliges pretty easily, but proposes when he realizes that he has ruined a virgin. Cordelia refuses his proposals, even when she finds herself pregnant. She intends to run off to raise the baby alone, but Nathaniel finds out about it and forces her into marriage. She hates him and then she doesn’t. This story was probably a little too short to be truly great—the switch from enemies to HEA was very abrupt.
Dawn Brower
Another short one. Francesca, a few months before her debut (as in barely 18), is at a family Christmas house party and meets Matthew, who immediately seduces her. I mean immediately. It was a little creepy. No last names, and he disappeared. Of course Francesca is pregnant. She tracks Matthew down and in a matter of a few pages, they go through the “I’m never getting married” drama, the “damaged hero with emotional baggage” drama, and the wedding. Then they decide they love each other and have their HEA. A full length story might have made the creepiness go away.
Nadine Millard
This somehow managed to be a slow burn in spite of its short length, and I really enjoyed it. Ophelia is the illegitimate daughter of an earl and now lives as a tutor at the girl’s school she was sent to on her father’s death. She lives a quiet, spinster life, since her legitimate brother doesn’t want anyone to know about her and she herself does not want to end up like her mother. Caleb is a hedonistic marquess tiring of his debauched life. They meet and eventually get together. These two characters were interesting and well rounded and deserved their HEA. I’ll definitely be looking for more by this author.
Anna St. Clair
This one was different from the rest. Not much steam beyond kisses, and the “baby” is the son of Honora, a widow who faked her death to escape an abusive husband. Now that she is a widow, she must protect her son, the heir nobody knows about, from her late husband’s mother. For a woman In hiding, she sees a lot of people in this story, including Benjamin, the Marquess who realizes that, since Honora is not dead and is a widow, he has another chance to make her his. A short but busy story.
The “Hello Rogue” is a fantastic collection by talented authors.
When a Rogue Falls by Sasha Cottman
Sir Stephen Moore is rogue and a criminal but for a man who, abandoned as a child by his parents has never known love and not had any desire to he’s really quiet lovable. He is part of the Rogues From The Road, friends who take on nefarious jobs. What do you imagine when a business card only reads, "Discretion assured. Results guaranteed."? His life changes when his father dies and he he learns family secrets.
Stephen has strong feelings about avoiding love. He’s always preferred one night stands with no attachments. But then his world turns upside down when he’s called upon to help the lovely widow, Lady Bridget Dyson‘s family out of a jam.
With Bridget’s mourning period over she has no desire to remarry either. Who could blame her. But, she’s fallen hard for Steven from the start and with a little wine, some wicked flirting and a night of passion comes the good news.
I loved Stephen, he was a good man and my heart went out to him because he was capable of so much more in his personal life. Bridget was fantastic, she knew what she wanted and was determined not to settle for less. She wants a whole marriage filled with love and everything that comes with it. It’s all or nothing for her.
I enjoyed the story as I always do from this author. The characters are so likable and interesting. Bridget was just the person to show Steven what he’s been missing in his life! A positively delightful read, witty and charming with equally delightful characters!
Escaping The Earl by Lauren Smith
Sabrina Talleyrand We do anything to escape a forced marriage to a despicable man even compromise herself Masquerade ball presents the perfect opportunity and unbeknownst to Sabrina the man she chooses is Peregrine Ashby, the new Earl of Rutland who upon hearing her story agrees to help her. These two cross paths again and sparks fly. When impending news comes Peregrine must win Sabrina’s heart.
Peregrine was a dashing, swoon worthy hero and Sabrina is a wonderful young woman seeking to control her future. I just love a masquerade! A truly engaging story!
This Rogue Of Mine by Amanda Mariel
Cordelia Daventry is a spinster who can’t seem to please her parents no matter how hard she wants to. Nathaniel seems to have the same problem with his family too. Can a moment of passion between these two bring about a lifetime of love and commitment? Cordelia knows that Nathaniel is a rogue, though an honorable one and a forced marriage brings about resentment and frustration. How could she trust her future and her heart to a rogue?
This is a wonderful story of a love hard fought and won. It’s an emotional roller coaster filled with insecurities and misunderstandings. The author does a beautiful job expressing emotions that fuel this story. With a little help and advice from their friends these two come together to realize that they both want the same thing, love and acceptance. A wonderful story of finding love despite insecurities.
Loving My Wicked Rogue by Dawn Brower
Lady Francesca is compromised by the charming and handsome Mathew, Duke of Lindsey at a house party and then he just disappears. Mathew was a cad, he told her she was his destiny and seduced her, taking her innocence with him when he disappeared. When Francesca finds she’s in a family way she has no idea how to find him knowing nothing but his first name. When she described him to friends she learned so he is and confronts him with the news only to be called a liar. Francesca let him know that under no terms would she want him in her life!
This is the story of Mathew’s redemption. I didn’t like him at all at first, he was self-centered with total disregard for the feelings of others. But then his family decide’s it’s time he settled down a produce an heir and he can’t help but think of Francesca and how poorly he treated her. Can she ever forgive him, is he worthy of forgiveness? I loved Francesca strength and maturity throughout this emotional situation. This is a beautiful story of two people finding out who they really are and who they can be. Totally engaging!
The Trouble With Rogues by Nadine Millard
Nadine Millard is a new out there to me and when I am sure to check out in the future. Caleb Feldman, the Marquess of Guilford has decided it’s time to change his ways when he meets Ophelia Delacourt. Caleb has a wicked reputation and he known for his wild parties. Ophelia becomes a tutor at the girls school where she was educated. She meets Caleb at one of his parties when she goes to rescue a wayward willful student. They clash when she goes to retrieve he wayward student but sparks fly between these two with a wonderful chemistry.
This is a heartwarming story filled with passion and sexual tension. It’s a story of a young woman, born to an Earl and his mistress, who fears becoming her mother. It’s the story of a man who’s become bored with his rogue lifestyle and wants more, he wants Ophelia, the woman who intrigue’s him, inspires him and it makes him want to be a better man. Can a night passion be the catalyst that brings these two together? This heartwarming story is filled with chemistry, wit and lots of emotion. Just beautiful!
My Lord, My Rogue by Anna St. Claire
Anna St. Claire Is another new author to me and I’m just thrilled to have found her work. Can’t wait to explore hers and Nadine’s, other stories.
Honora Radcliff was desperate to escape an abusive marriage so she did the unthinkable. To escape and protect her baby she fakes her death. After being hidden for three years her hateful husband is finally dead and she tries to slowly come out of hiding with the help of her supportive family. When she comes face-to-face with her former betrothed she gets an opportunity to explain her actions and asked his forgiveness. She acknowledged her flaws and poor choices, earning her redemption. This is a heartwarming, sweet second chance story that made me tear up it was so romantic. Ben had loved Honora since they were children. He was just such a good man. And together they build their family and get their happily ever after.
These are wonderful stories by amazing authors written with heart, soul and emotion. Packed with a lovable rogues and the strong, determined and spunky women that loved them, these are stories that pull on your heartstrings, make you laugh, make you smile and even tear up here and there.
Thank you ladies so much for your contributions to this lovely collection. I loved reading each and every story and look forward to more.
An excellent set of HR with a good deal of heat and spice! I was familiar with all of the contributing authors and jumped at the chance to read something by them that showed a steamier side to their writing. These books did not disappoint with the same quality of writing coming through and the roguish encounters between the individual couples handled with skill and taste. I do have to admit to having two favorites out of this collection with the first being My Lord, My Rogue by Anna St. Claire. This book was absolutely heart-wrenching and I felt for both Honora and Benjamin and could not turn the pages fast enough to see how or even if they were going to be able to get to a HEA! The next book that I deemed a favorite was The Trouble with Rogues by Nadine Millard. The love story of Ophelia and Caleb was so very original in its execution and this was another one that I could not put down until it arrived at such a satisfactory resolution! That being said, each and every one of the books featured in this collection are all excellently written and are worthy of being read and enjoyed not just this once but reread whenever this particular reader is in need of a good pick-me-up and a little zest!

Hello, Rogue is a great set of stories with one theme; actions have consequences. These stories tell us how six couples faced the consequences of one night of pleasure.
When a Rogue Falls by Sasha Cottman Sir Stephen Moore has never known love and doesn’t want to. What he does know about love is that it hurts. That begins to change when his father dies and he inherits not only the estate, but a younger brother he didn’t know he had. Before he can adjust to his new role, Stephen learns that as a result of his affair with Lady Bridget Dyson, he is to be a father. He wants an impersonal convenient arrangement. She is adamant about a loving marriage and family. If Stephen can’t handle that, he can make an appointment. This one will take some work, a bit of time, and some sound advice from his fellow Rogues of the Road, but the HEA will be well worth the effort.
Escaping the Earl by Lauren Smith Sabrina and Peregrine meet at a masquerade. Sabrina is determined to be compromised to escape marriage to a despicable man who holds her brother’s debt. She succeeds in seducing Peregrine and then disappears from the masquerade and her brother’s house. She becomes governess for Peregrine’s best friend’s daughter. A house party provides the setting for a second meeting and brief affair. This one results in a little surprise. It takes their friends, another house party, and a masquerade ball to bring this story to a happy ending.
This Rogue of Mine by Amanda Mariel Cordelia Daventry can do nothing to please her parents and is resigned to being a spinster. Nathaniel Lowell has a similar problem with his father. A moment of comfort turned to passion. When Cordelia discovers she is pregnant, she is determined to leave and live on her own. When Nathaniel learns he is to become a father and that Cordelia plans to steal away with his child, he is livid. They marry. The marriage is off to a bad start. Both are angry. Neither trusts the other. Following a horrible argument, both receive advice from trusted friends. They decide talk and get to know each other. Their road to being happy is to discover that they want the same thing, the love they’ve never had.
Loving My Wicked Rogue by Dawn Brower Francesca meets Matthew at a family Christmas house party just before her debut. Their attraction was immediate, and a visit to the conservatory resulted in seduction. When Cesca realizes she is with child, she is stymied. The two of them exchanged only first names, so she doesn’t know how to find Matthew. At tea with her friends, she describes him, and they recognize him as Matthew Grant, Duke of Lindsay. When she finds him and informs him of his impending fatherhood, he calls her a liar, and worse. Responding to his atrocious behavior, Lady Francesca let him know that not only did she not care to have him in her life, but that her very powerful family would not take his slight lightly. Unnerving. Matthew had no desire to marry her or anyone else. Matthew finally realizes he is wrong and has treated Cesca unfairly (to say the least). It’s up to him now to find a way to make things right. That means facing her and her family. Can he do it? He has a lot to do to find happiness and love with Francesca.
The Trouble with Rogues by Nadine Millard When the Earl of Batten died, his will provide for his mistress and their child. The new earl, Ophelia’s rather spiteful brother, carries out his father’s wishes. When she finishes school, she refuses to bend to Batten’s demands, and becomes a tutor at the girls school where she was educated. Caleb Feldham, Marquess of Guilford, also known as the Wicked Marquess, is famous for his wild parties. Lately, he hosts the parties, but not participate. It seems he wants a change. Ophelia and Caleb meet when she comes to one of his parties to rescue a wayward student. They see each other several times. Their chemistry sizzles. When Ophelia realizes she is pregnant, she runs away. Now all Caleb has to do is find her and convince her that they belong together. A great story of change and acceptance.
My Lord, My Rogue by Anna St. Claire Her marriage to the abusive Lord David Aster had driven Honora to take her own life, or so everyone believes. To escape and protect her baby, Honora fakes her suicide. She has hidden for three years, but her husband is dead now, and she plans to come out of hiding and reenter society, slowly and with the help of her loving and supportive family. When she comes across her former betrothed and his friend out on a ride, things begin to change. She has the opportunity to explain her actions and ask forgiveness. Benjamin Crewe is a childhood friend of both Adam and Honora. He and Honora watched each other from afar when they were younger. Now they have a second chance. This is a wonderful story. It tugs at your heart and makes you cry in some places; it warms your heart and makes you smile at others. Oliver and Riggs, his puppy, will make you laugh. An incident at the Queen’s ball causes a bit of a scare, but it ends well. Ben and Honora have a sweet and tender romance. The two of them along with Oliver and Riggs make a great family.
This a fantastic set of books from a talented group of writers. I enjoyed each and every story. I recommend it to anyone who loves a happy ending.
A wonderful boxed set. As we know loves wins out in the end and each tale was full of great characters. It's the journey along the way that keeps you turning pages and wanting more.
This is a fantastic collection of six stories about rogues and what happens after one night of pleasure. Each story is a standalone and gas great characters, romance and intrigue and a HEA, of course. I especially liked the last one where the woman has to marry an abusive man after the night and has to fake her death. Three years later she meets the love of her life. This causes trouble for both.of them. You will get many hours of pleasure from this collection.

Here are six rogues you will love. Just goes to show that rogues can change to love one woman and be completely devoted. These novellas are by different authors so you have a chance to experience the style of each author. Enjoy!
All the stories were romantic in their own way. Some of conflict, some of anonymity, some of falling for the wrong person, some a fall from grace. All excellent. I highly recommend it.
