Macramé is a form of textile produced using knotting (rather than weaving or knitting) techniques. It’s also one of many techniques that people who love to work with their hands are getting back. It became a new art in the 1970s for making wall hangings, clothing accessories, small jean shorts, bedspreads, tablecloths, draperies, plant hangers and other furnishings. If you are interested in Macramé but do not know how to start, this book is for you.
Step to step guidesHigh qualified illustrationsThis book is so easy to understand even though you are a beginners. It will show you what Macramé is, how to start and tutorials of some easy Macramé products. It is also a ideal gift for your friends, your mom and your grandmother.
Mostly, I cut back 1 STAR because: the author was a little wordy, and the use of the Metric system slows comprehension. As a scientist, I am comfortable with both systems, but I have think a little bit to convert 1 meter to 39". I think you 'd get better reviews and sales if the converted measurements are also provided. Otherwise, the book was informative, and helpful, with just the right amount of detail for a beginner.
I recommended this macrame book, as it offers a simple and straightforward set of instructions that are perfect for individuals who are new to this art form.
