Ik vond dat het boek een leuke verhaallijn had waardoor het lekker weg las. Volgens de bibliotheek waar ik dit boek had geleend is dit boek vanaf ca. 12 jaar. Dat vond ik zelf best kloppen, maar ook al ben ik een aantal jaar ouder dan dat, ik vond het voor alsnog een leuk boek om te lezen. Wel vond ik dat er af en toe 'lastigere' woorden tussen stonden, zelf vond ik ze niet lastig, maar als je kijkt naar de doelgroep van dit boek dan kan ik me wel voorstellen dat het lastige woorden zijn. Voor de rest heb ik er niet veel op te zeggen, het was een leuk boek, maar niet bijzonder.

This book was amazing! I can't believe that she ended up with Kane. They really looked good together.Well, it was obvious that Kane liked Lucy, because of his actions and reactions and everything. He totally fancies her. I only wished that the author didn't end up the story immediately. I wished they had more time in spending with each other, especially when they 'are together' already. Anyway, this was a fast read for me. I loved it.

This was my favorite book as a child. I reread it several times and even did a school report on it when we had to present a book in front of the class. I haven’t recently read it, but still have fond memories of it and remember most of the plot still.
And i remember it made me feel that it was cool to dress less feminine if that was something you wished for, while at the same time being able to embrace a feminine side. That’s quite a healthy message for a child.
I would absolutely reread this even as an adult, and even recommend it to someone younger if the genre is something that would appeal to them.

I remember being in the school library at break time and looking for a good book to read, I read the blurb of so many books, but this is the one that stuck to me and this is one which I decided to read.
Fast forward a few years and suddenly out of the blue this book came to mind. I could remember many details of the book like what happened in the book some of the character names but I could remember the main thing which was the title of the book.
Knowing that my sister had read the same book, I tired explaining the book many times to her but she just couldn’t remember the name either. That’s when my sister and I went on a hunt to find this book. We posted on so many websites if anyone could help us and tell us the name of this book, but it was to no avail as no one knew what we were talking about.
Fast forward a year later, still hunting online for this book I came across a post on tumblr and finally, finally I found a post with someone who had the same problem as me and was looking for the exact same book. My heart started racing and I knew I was going to find what I had been looking for. I scrolled down on the page and looked at the comment and finally someone commented the name of the book.
I very rarely ever think about books I’ve read from years ago, but this is one book which I’ve thought about many times and I have to say that this is one of my favourite books to read. I also cant usually read book again once I’ve read them but this is one book which I can read many, many times.
It’s so easy to fall in love with the characters and yes it may be easy to guess what’s going to happen in the book and what will happen with the characters, but when you are a very young reader just starting off to read everything comes as a surprise and this book is just so good to read.
Whenever anyone asks me for a book recommendation this is the first book which I would recommend to them.
