This plot was familiar and different at the same time. The plot was really enjoyable and the twist was well done.

After some hilarious shenanigans and help from two wonderful friends, I managed to obtain this little jewel of a book. Lizzy Bequin's stories are rapidly becoming my favorite book crack, and I'm totally addicted. Breed is a quick read, but chock full of alien spicy goodness and surprises. Do yourself a favor and try this author.

Short and hot. Interesting and hot sci-fi romance with a unexpected twist. Very quick storyline written by a great author. The writing style of the author intrigues me and I will definitely read another book by this author.

A quick read with definite heat, a conflict and a HEA. Cass was a tough woman who was made lonely because of a sacrifice she made for others. Voss was a sexy smart mouth alien .

The first of Lizzy Bequin's books, I loved this story. Twists and turns everywhere and when I got to the end, I wanted more. I've got Lizzy Bequin's name at the top of my 'books to read' list and will actively go looking for more.

Super fast, hot read
This is a novella length sci-fi romance book by Lizzy Bequin . . . As only Lizzy can do. She always manages to surprise me with some type of unexpected plot twist. She didn’t disappoint in this story. Cassie is our heroine who lives a pretty lonely, hand to mouth existence. She scavenges crash sites, for anything she can find, in order to sell. In an attempt to outrun both other scavengers and the coming “drench” season, she makes her way to a site where she saw a space ship go down.
She comes across Voss, a shape shifting alien. Turns out, Cassie has a few secrets of her own about her background, but also how she managed to save her team during their last deployment in the war. This turn of events puts them both in danger. But Voss is willing to take a chance.
As usual, the alpha male is hot, and the steamy attraction between the main characters is even hotter. All is resolved to a HEA and I was verry happy for both our literary stars. If you’re fans of Lizzy Bequin’s books, you’ll like this one. If you’re not a fan, you should be. . . Particularly if you like Omegaverse stories.

Este breve libro me sorprendió gratamente.
Cassiopeia es chatarrera en un planeta extraño con sequías medio eternas. Cuando va a cirujear una nave que cayó, se encuentra con que no está abandonada, y ahí conoce a Voss, que parece un chabon humano que está re fuerte y secretamente es un alien escamoso violeta (y esto no es spoiler porque es literalmente la portada).
Voss está entrando en su temporada de aparemiento, y Cassi totalmente es voluntaria para la tarea... Excepto porque Cassi tiene un secreto que se lo impide.
Entonces, en 95 páginas, tenemos sexys aliens, secretos impactantes y no del todo predecibles, sexo que se va al carajo de intenso, y hasta momentos de acción.
Súper recomendado si estás buscando un romance alien breve y muy, muy erótico que hasta puede que te sorprenda.

I quiet enjoyed this naughty little read.
I must say this story line in this book is beyond crazy it boils down to a psychic women has the power to capture and store an evil spirit in her mind as long as she does not she does not have an orgasm. But she comes across an alien during his mating heat and they risk it and end up letting the spirit out.
other then the crazy story there is some very naughty sex scenes in this book. These are not two people making love they are down and dirty sex scenes where they enjoy being rough with each other. And who would not love an alien lover with such a talented tail ;).

This was a good short story I enjoyed it . Voss was a Meszrian and could disguise himself into almost any thing , he was going home for the Meszrian mating season . If Voss didn’t mate he would go on a rampage destroying everything in his way . Cassi found Voss and his ship crashed on her planet . Cassi had a problem of her own there was a psi demon in her and would go on a killing rampage if she let her guard down . Read and find out these two find each other and end up solving their problems . A HEA is guaranteed .

Great short read. Loved the cocky Voss, purple is also my colour! Was so much fun and was glad Cassie could deal with the inner demon she kept prisoner. They were such a fiesty pair and so well suited. A lot of fun and great passion. Will definately be reading more of this author.

As a short steamy escape, this was a great read.
Enough backstory of both characters to make it interesting, and the relationship was consensual.

This was a really enjoyable short story. I loved Voss and that he was an alien just made him that much more loveable! I loved that he was able to camouflage himself to just about any situation or shift his shape to just about any form also. It was really fun reading that and imagining all the combinations he could have come up with.
I really enjoyed Cassi also. She was one tough cookie. To be able to hold that creature in a psychic hold for so long was amazing, and the things she had to give up to do so. It speaks of her determination to not let that creature escape. Until she met Voss and he gave her no choice! lol

3.5 // I liked it. Quite a bit, actually. It’s a fun, spicy alien romance read with a blessedly different plot. I’d have loved it if it had been a longer to develop the story a bit more as a couple spots felt a little rushed. That’s my only complaint because the writing is good. Definitely going to see what else this author has written.
Based on the title you can guess we have breeding kink. There’s some fun banter between the protagonists who are the only two characters —another delightful change from the usual fare. Though the world building is minimal the author manages to give us an interesting if stark setting for the plot. Couple fun gotcha moments on the part of the MMC.

I got this book a few days ago for free and i loved it i was instantly drawn in i loved Voss so much he was so cool and calculating but he littery saves Cassie.
