It’s time for The Paranormals front man to face his demons…
The band is riding high and lead singer Zak should be ecstatic. Instead, he's exhausted. Having to supply the demon Abaddon with a quota of souls, as well as rehearse, record, and tour means the Incubus’ workload is just too heavy.
Shop Assistant Erica is feeling down. Running The Paranormals Fan Club in her spare time, their fans believe she's in constant touch with her idols, while the truth is she hasn’t seen them since the final of Britain's Best New Band. Weirdly, she can't remember much of that.
When Erica demands a face-to-face interview with Zak, he's not interested. But what he doesn’t realise is that his deal with the demon can be undone if he finds true love, and what if Erica just happens to be the one?
All Hell (well, the seventh dimension), is about to break loose.

Incubus problems; need energy from souls to meet the quota.
Zak’s problem; he’s burnt out.
Being the lead singer of the hottest new boy band is hard enough. In between rehearsals and touring it leaves little time for anything else. Especially when his incubus side means he has to live up to his rock star name and bed as many women as he can.
Erica has a simple life. She’s a shop assistant that runs the paranormals fan club. She’s desperate to get close to the band and jumps at the opportunity to leave her mundane life behind.
Can an incubus find love? Maybe finding the one could change everything.
Sit down, buckle in and get ready to tour with the not so normal paranormals.
*I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review, however I have KU which this book will be available on.
With every new Andie Long book, I get more and more excited! She is definitely getting me out of my comfort zone by reading paranormal. I enjoy every single second of reading her books. This series is my favorite of hers.
Heavy Souls was so entertaining!! There were so many parts to this book that we so great to focus on. I love the idea of the plot, with Zak being an incubus, and finally just wanting to settle down; then Erica, who starts a fan club because she has this idea that she is wants Zak to fall in love with her and that dating a rock star is a possibility for a normal girl. The idea of this is so cute. The characters I love! With every new book in the series, I can't get enough of them. The banter between the guys makes me pause because I am laughing at their jokes. The girls of this series are so strong and determined. I love their energy. Rex, has been my favorite throughout the series, but after this Zak is playing a very close second! I just can't get enough of this world. I can't wait to read the next book in this series.
This series has continued to impress me. These books are feel good types of books that have you wanting more. I definitely recommend this for everyone, even if you don't read paranormal!
Heavy Souls by Andie M Long a soul-lifting five-star read. This is number two in the Paranormals series and what a second story, Zak really is super special, he will surprise you in so many ways and what a character, he faces his struggles head on and comes out stronger, but he isn’t the only one. Erica is the one to watch though, she really pulled out all of the stops and made you fall in love so hard with her. This has it all there are some funny, funny parts and some that will warm even the darkest of hearts, this is such a great story that you won’t be able to put it down. Do not miss the chance to see what will happen to Don and wonder who will be mine next.
Erica thought being in charge of The Paranormals' fan club would have gotten her more access to Zak, the front man and her ongoing crush. Sadly, it wasn't all she'd hoped, until Zak invited her and a friend to spend the week with them for all the insider goodies.
Little did either expect it would end up changing their lives.
More supernatural goodness. Friends. True love. Vampires, demons, an increasingly tired incubus, shifters, witches, and all sorts of out of this world creatures. Partying like a rock star. A good dream cuddle. ;-) Perhaps a little steam. And some laughs along the way.
A little heat, humor, and a dash of drama make this a very satisfying read. Zak finally finds the soul he was meant for.
I received a review copy. I am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
Absolutely love Andie's work. You fall in love with the lead characters and can't wait to get to the end to see what happens. Sad when you finish however because you just can't get enough. Roll on September to get the next installment of this fabulous story ♥️
This is the second book in the series and it focuses on Erica, who is the founding member of the Paranormals fan club, and Zak who is an incubus. Zak is the lead singer of the paranormals and Erica is obsessed with him. What she doesn't realise is Zak made a deal with the devil and has to go around having sex with different women and stealing their souls to pay off this particular devil. Lots of hilarity ensues, there were lots of moments where I was crying with laughter because it was so crazy but it was so good to laugh! Freya was an absolute blast as well and everyone needs a Freya as your bestie. This book was absolutely amazing and I for one can not wait to get my hands on the next one and see what is in store for this wonderful cast of characters.
Book 2 in the Paranormals series and this is Zacs story - yes his the incubus who has to have a lot of sex.
Being an incubus is no fun for Zac, he works for Abaddon, who just keeps pushing his limits and his had enough. It's even tougher now the band is so busy.
Erica is a mega-fan she feels pulled towards Zac, she never really thinks he will be interested in a shop assistant like her, even if she runs their fan club. She doesn't give up hope though and I liked that about her.😉
I really enjoyed this book, the authors take on PNR has a light-hearted, fun edge to it, so you don't need to take it to serious, just enjoy the characters and the ride their story takes you.
This series is quickly becoming one of my favourite series of Andie's! In Heavy Souls we follow the story of Erica whom is the founding member of The Paranormals Fan Club and the super sexy Incubus Zak. This story is filled with humour especially when Erica's bestie is involved Freya, that woman is too funny! All the characters give you so much joy with their antics and camaraderie. This is a fantastic feel good book with the right amount of action and drama.
I would 100% recommend this book to everyone! I now have to patiently wait for book 3!
Book two in the Paranormals series focuses on band member Zak, lead singer and Incubus. Not content with the hand he’s been dealt Zaks desperate for a way out of his current predicament. Being an Incubus isn’t all it’s cracked up to be and Zak is ready to find love with one woman over lust and soul collection of the masses. Is there be a way out for Zak can he find the girl of his dreams, readers of the first book know the answer to this.....
Honestly I enjoyed this book so much, I laughed so hard in parts and at times was comedic gold, can’t wait for you all to fall in love with Zak and see if he gets the girl. Coming soon.....
This series is so full of laughs, fun and joy. Oh how the concert scene made me howl, and not in the same way Rex does. He's got a lot of work to do next time around in We Wolf Rock You - deffo will need his tail between his legs - rofl
Heavy souls is the second book in The Paranormals series following on from book 1 Hex Factor, a read which keeps you wanting more from these characters.
Heavy Souls focuses on Zak our lead singer, an incubus and our beloved Erica the head of our fan club, with a passion and obsession for him, only one problem with this she's unaware that he's sold his soul to a devil that makes him have sex with woman for souls.
With chemistry high between the pair and the devil noticing can Zak protect Erica from him?
With lots of comical humour throughout this book it really keeps you on the edge of your seat, with the need for more being a must.
I was lucky enough to beta read Heavy Souls! This is book two in The Paranormals Series and out now!!
Heavy Souls follows Erica the head of the bands fan club and Zak the bands Incubus! This is by far my favourite book of the series so far! There’s so many giggles to be had Andie M Longs humour is on point! I cannot wait for the next book in the series and to see if any of the other members will steel my heart from Zak!
Heavy Souls is the second book in this latest series by Andie M. Long and like Hex Factor, I absolutely loved it!!
Zak and Erica’s story is one that you must not miss. Zak is the lead singer of The Paranormals but it isn’t his only job. I actually felt so sorry for him at times. His job away from the band seemed to take so much out of him, and although it may have been very demanding of his time and energy, it appears that those he got close to didn’t seem to mind as much! You’ll understand what I mean when you read this 😉
Erica runs The Paranormals fan club and has a huge crush on Zak. OMG there are moments in this story that had me laughing so hard at her actions, but feeling rather embarrassed for her at the same time! She’s a fabulous person and I loved getting to know her more. I actually thought that she and Zak would make a perfect couple, but then it seemed unlikely that any loving relationship could develop between them due to Zak’s commitments.
I am absolutely loving this series. The characters are amazing, the humour is perfect and the storylines keep me turning the pages to see what happens next!
I’m already counting down the days until the next book in the series releases which is titled, We Wolf Rock You. This will obviously be Rex’s story and I cannot wait to see if he claims his mate.
Heavy souls is the second instalment of the paranormals series this is Zak and Erica’s story and I guarentee you won’t want to miss out on this fabulous read!
Zak is the lead singer of the paranormals but he’s also an incubus and as an incubus he has his work cut out for him delivering all those souls to the demon Abbadon poor Zak is exhausted when he should be enjoying his new found fame with his band But what if their was a way out of his deal with Abbadon? Could true love be his ticket out of this deal?
I throughly enjoyed Zak and Ericas story I have loved this series so far and I can’t get enough of it! in true Andie M Long style there is lots of whitty banter and humour that will keep you going the humour in this book will make you belly laugh I just couldn’t stop reading to the point were I had tears streaming down my face from the laughter and I can’t wait for the next book in this series!
If your looking for a funny whitty romcom then I highly urge you to start this amazing series by Andie M Long you won’t regret it
I recieved an early advanced copy in exchange for an honest review
Poor Zak. He definitely got a raw deal when he fell for Abaddon’s tricks. Now he finds himself overworked as the band’s success keeps him busy and the quota of souls, he has to obtain each month. It was surprising when he invited Erica to spend the London tour week with the band. Erica is the president of their fan club and has done everything through their assistant so she is beyond excited to be invited to hand out with the band. Her love for Zak hasn’t waned but will he notice her this time. What a fun and crazy ride for Zak and Erica. I love the Paranormals band, this cast of characters delivers fun drama for a perfect escape. I voluntarily read an ARC of this book and this is my honest review.
This is book two in The Paranormal Series. This is the story of Erica and Zak. I recommend you read book one, Hex Factor.
This book was pretty funny. Erica is a character I can relate too. She is down to earth, simple, just enough extrovert, with a splash of shyness. The comic bantering throughout this story was wonderful. A couple times, I laughed so hard I had tears in my eyes. Erica is the one who started the Paranormals Fan Group call the Subs. She is about to have her world rocked.
Zak is the incubus that wants out of his dreadful contract. There is a way but will he get out of it. He doesn't know how but his rock mate Noah does. Zak invites Erica and her friend Freya for a week long stay with VIP passes as a thank you for running the fan club. While Freya is hung up on Rex, Erica desperately wants Zak.
I don't want to spoil this fabulous story so I'll wrap it up here. I do believe I liked this story better than the first. The first was good so that is saying a lot. Happy reading!
Heavy Souls by Andie M. Long is a paranormal romantic comedy that will be released on August 31, 2020.
This is the second book in the four book series The Paranormals that will revolve around four bandmates and their love lives. Each book can be read as a standalone. However, it will be more enjoyable if read in order due to characters being referenced from previous books.
I absolutely love Andie’s books! They always leave me with a smile on my face. I really enjoyed getting multiple points of views throughout the story. It really helps bring a story to life. You can’t help but root for Zak and Erica.
I cannot wait for the next book in the series We Wolf Rock You to be released on September 28, 2020 so I can get Rex and Freya’s story.
I would recommend this book if you love paranormal romances, romantic comedies, or Rockstar romances.
Heavy Souls takes us back into the world of The Paranormals, a very popular band on tour. Erica is still doing her fan club duties, and still pining away for lead singer Zak. I like Erica and her celeb stalking style, it’s sometimes awkward and mostly hilarious. Zak is a good guy who’s suffering the ill-affects of his lack of good judgement as a teenager. This a quick, fun tale of insta-love, that’s sure to give you a giggle. Rex is up next, and I’m looking forward to his story.
One of my favourite things in this series is that the females are strong and know exactly what they want. They are also not afraid to go after what they want! I loved Zak and Erica's story, especially the banter between them and the band. It was hilarious at times and I found myself having to stop and take a breath at some points. I am really enjoying this series so far and can't wait to see what happens next!
My favourite guys from The Paranormals are back and now is the turn for our incubus Zak and lead singer of this band to have his story, and what story it was! I think this is my favorite book in the series.
Poor Zak is death tired of being an incubus but his contract doesn't allow him to rest for one single night. Besides having his career taking off and having to satisfy the dreams of the endless women's souls he needs to collect , he hasn't have a break to just enjoy life. He wonders what a life with just one partner would be.
Now comes Erica, head of The Paranormal fan club and obsess with Zak. I love her character so much. She is sassy and has the most hilarious conversations inside her head. She honestly believes that Zak is destain to be with her but first he needs to realise that she exist.
When Erica is offer a full week with The Paranormals she jumps to this and her and best friend will have one of the most interest weeks ever.
I enjoyed reading every single page of this book, this paranormal romcom is one of the most entertaining and hilarious one I ever read. Don't miss the chance to meet Zak and Erica's story, I guarantee you'll love it as much as I did.
ps:the ending of this book left me desperately needing book three asap.
Heavy Souls is Book 2 in The Paranormals series, following a bands new success. Zak, the only human in The Paranormals, sold his soul to a Demon of the 7th Dimension in pursuit of fame. As you can expect, they were downsides in making a deal with a Demon. Zak, now an Incubus, needs to fulfil his contract and get the Souls of women and the monthly quota is getting more difficult to fulfill, as the Paranormals become more successful and Zak more exhausted... Erica, is the woman behind the official Fanclub and she just loves Zak, even though he's an absolute womanizer. After meeting Ebony, yes, that Ebony!, she runs after her dream, Zak! She takes her friend Freya along and spends a week behind the scenes with The Paranormals during their home concert run in London. Desperate to get Zak's attention, she certainly gets it at THAT concert scene!!! Will Zak find a way out of his contract as his womanizing lifestyle takes its toll and he craves normality? Will Erica get her dream come true? The 2nd book in this series continues to be as funny and hilarious as it started, no, it even gets better! My poor abdominal muscles!!! Andie has an amazing talent, not only does she write great PNR, but the way she does it.. The comedy factor is beyond platinum, it's out of this world, great writing, fantastic characters and everything just fits perfectly together! This book is an absolute must read, best read in order to get the full experience!!!!
😁😂😂🤣🤣 Y'all!!! This book had some many hilarious moments between these besties, Freya and Erica!! I loved it. I read this book so fast. Its not super long. I really loved reading this book! I want more and im really excited for Freyas book next! That ending was wild. Seriously Rex!? Lol Another reason I love this book is because the different slang in it from Andies country shes from (idk for sure) is so different but I totally get what she's saying anyways!! I love it! I kept telling my husba d the funniest moments because I just couldn't keep it to myself. I SERIOUSLY would bust out in loud obnoxious laughter. No lie! I loved Freya and Erica so much!! Book 2 of the Paranormals is AMAZING, fun, lighthearted, Hea, sweet, super hilarious, and still mysterious. We hear about all the different characters that we love in this book just like book 1 and Im really intrigued about Mya too. Awesome book! Give this book a read!!! Oh yes I cant forget. I was given an ARC of this book and my review it totally honest! Thank you Andie!!!
This series is getting better and better. It already started out great. This is Zac and Erica’s story. If you read the first book, you met Erica when she and her best friend posed as reporters to meet the band on the reality show. Erica is now the president of the fan club and has been listing after Zak for quite some time. Zac is the lead singer and an incubus. He has a contract with Abaddon to collect souls from willing females in their dreams. He doesn’t know how to get out of his contract, but he wants out. He wants to be with one person and one person only. Zac and Erica are both attracted to each other, but Zak thinks it’s best to keep Erica at arm’s length. Their connection may be too strong to do that. You’ll have to read what happens to find out if Zak finds a way out of his contract and be with Erica, or if he is destined to continue being an incubus. This was so great. I just love the banter between all the band mates. It had me laughing. I am loving the characters even more and can’t wait for Rex’s story. It is going to be good.
Oh my... Poor Zac he really did make a deal with the devil didnt he well demon actually. Finding himself in hot water over not fulfilling his quota he has to take more souls on his next quote. This time he and the band are taking their tour to their home town. After filling in answers to the fan club questionnaire he has this idea to invite Erica who runs the fan club onto the tour for the week access all areas and the idea is spot on as he is nursing a crush on Erica but wont act on it because of who he is but he cant stay away. Erica has been nursing a crush on Zac from the very beginning and she sees this opportunity to try and make things happen. This book had me in stitches in places and shouting at Zac to look at the bigger picture and to just try and go with what’s in his heart. I loved everything about this book .. Zac and Erica are the perfect mix...and that ending... OH Rex we didnt see that coming... I’m so looking forward to Rex and Freya’s story.
The Paranormals, rock stars, are a group of four guys with paranormal abilities. There is a vampire, an incubus, a werewolf and lastly a satyr. Each guy has his book, Noah was first and he had a bit of mystery surrounding his story. Zak, the incubus, gets this story. From reading the first you might recognize Erica, the drunk “reporter” came backstage to interview Zak. She’s a bit flighty at first and I felt like I had to read her portion quickly, like she was on a different level. The whole group made appearances. Not the same zing and thrill as Noah’s book but still fun all the same. My copy came through the author, review provided voluntarily.
Heavy Souls is the second book in The Paranormals series and is Zak and Erica's story. Zak is an incubus and the lead singer in the band. Erica runs The Paranormals Fan Club in her spare time. I loved Erica, Zak, all the other characters, the humor and crazy fun banter throughout the story. The storyline is great and just like every book this author writes I had a hard time putting this book down. I can't wait to read the next book in this fantastic series. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.
Another cute entry into the world of rock band The Paranormals. This time the president of their fan club Erica is determined to win the heart?? of the soul stealing lead singer and incubus Zak. Recurring characters offer their help to get these two opposites to an HEA. A little mindless reading never harmed anyone.
In this book we are following Zak and Erica. It follows on nicely from #1. I loved reading about their story it was such a good read with humour thrown in as well! Erica runs The Paranormals fan club and Zak is the lead singer and is an Incubus. He is such a lovable character. Can he get out of his contract and get his HEA?
Wait let me catch my breath...Still laughing. I mean I almost peed myself! Love Zac and Erica. What is wrong with him!? Spoiler Alert. You gona need pads! Lurf and drama afoot i this story. Yup cried but because I laughed hard. Damn you Zac! Ok Enough said Gota read it yourself if you dare!
Zak is burned out but Erica may be just the one to get him out of the funk. This is funny and so entertaining. I was sucked in and loved seeing how Zak found what he needed in Erica. It's sexy and funny and such a great read that I was unable to put it down once I started.
