last year I published "Seize the Day Job," by Carl Kozlowski.
I love to write stuff that challenges the reader and make him think, my books require to look at things in ways they never imagined.
In A Liar's Tale, I asked the simple question, what if all your lies came true?
The Blackbird series is an honest look at racism and the black experience and doesn't just play the race card, but forces people to look at ALL of the cards.

This fast-paced novel set in an alternative universe, brims with philosophical truths and answers the provocative question?, "What would happen if every lie became reality?" The main character, Scott Hampton, finds out the answer to this question through a series of plot twists and turns that make this novel by Andre Coleman a must read selection.

"A Liar's Tale" grabs you by the throat immediately and does not release you until after you have been taken on a wild roller coaster of emotions. The writing is so enticing, so vivid, that the readers will feel as if they are watching a film rather than reading a book.
The story evokes every basic human emotion, ranging from fear to joy to anger to sadness to triumph. It helps us delve so deeply into the very core of people from such a wide range in life that we feel as if we have moved in and become a part of a new community. We get to *know* the characters that Mr. Coleman writes about; we learn to care about them, we worry for their outcomes, we eagerly anticipate their next actions... and often, the unexpected consequences of Scott's lies send us reeling right along beside him into a fuzzy whirlwind of confusion and instability. The reader will constantly wonder, "How is this all going to end?" Prepare yourself for some pleasant and not-so-pleasant surprises... just like real life hands us every day.
I like the book so much, I really can't find the words that seem to do it justice. I just hope that some very INSIGHTFUL people will have the wisdom to have this wonderfully creative story made into a movie soon! Congratulations to Mr. Coleman on such an amazing first novel; I look forward to many, many more.

This is an amazing read with a simple premie. What if all your lies came true? I expected it to be a comedic farce, instead it's a strong tale that travels very dark waters.
The characters jump out at you, and the dialogue is amazing. Hoping for a sequel.

Excellent plot, story, and premise. There are some choppy parts and some things are not elaborated enough on but for the most part, I enjoyed this book.

Andre Coleman tells an intriguing story of a young man who has a serious issue with lying. After meeting a mysterious man in the park, all of Scott Hampton's lies come true and not all for the better. At the end of it all, Scott must decide whether it is important to tell the truth no matter the consequences or lie to spare feelings.
Once I had the time to devote to this book, I could not put it down. There was the right amount of mystery, drama, and the supernatural. Andre Coleman taps into his inner Walter Mosely with this one. If that appeals to you, then you must read it.
