I'm sorry, this book needs to have an editor or proofreader go through. I found numerous errors while reading this super short story. It also ends in a really bizarre manner. Literally the last line is, "What are you going to do?" Not worth your time at this point.
Trying to survive in a new country where you don't understand the language and your team mates along with your assistant coach are against you, Adrian is lost. He was not prepared to deal with these situations because he thought if he played real good, the team and coaches would be happy with him. Adrian now realize he is not in his country where he was a soccer star.
I was shocked that the author called this a “book”. This needs a lot of polishing, needs more emotion to the writing technique. I felt I was reading 3rd grade level.
I enjoyed reading this book, but I gave it 3 stars because it was extremely too short and I didn't like the way it ended! I did like the chemistry that was developing between Adrian and Phones. Other than that, I think people may like this short read!
