I was privileged to proof and edit this book for the author. He is a Q'iche Maya man from a small community in Totonicapan, Guatemala. Works from these regions seldom receive professional arrangement for publication, and now more than ever, their voices need to be heard. This is a book of low-cost art projects for children that use bamboo and other natural materials to create cultural art, objects for the home, children's toys, and more.
