This book definitely takes you on a adventure!!! It's had plenty of suspense, action, danger, twist and turn, and so much more that will have you hook from beginning to end. Since I don't give out spoiler you'll just have to check it out for yourself. Overall a enjoyable and entertaining read. Another exciting and entertaining story by Juniper Hart. This took some getting used to, it was different from the rest of the series, but a very good one. Full of danger, action, emotions, twists, turns and hot appeal.
This goes between Kyla and Pascal ( Cal ).
Centuries ago Pascal and Lara were promised to each other, but that time Franz loved her. When their village was taken over by the Turks, the women killed themselves. Franz went through a cave and got bit by vampire bats, and he bit Lara to save her when she runs after her mother of the cliff. Then he bit Pascal to.
Now in the present, It was all wrong from the beginning when Pascal went undercover for the Sleepers program on behalf of Franz (leader of his tribe). Once finished with the training, he was sent to South Africa as a Sleeper. Then he had a bad attitude all the time and Kyla tried to keep him in line so that he wouldn't get too much trouble. It felt as if he had been left alone by his tribe and was therefore very angry. Meanwhile, the electric attraction between him and Kyla is running high.
But then Lara found them and she want to be human again. From then on there were all kinds of turbulent events.
If you want to know how everything rumbles and ends, read it. I definitely enjoyed it and recommend this book with great pleasure.

This book takes the reader on a grand adventure filled with suspense, anger, frustration, despondency and confusion. The characters emotions were so realistic. I held my breath at times waiting to see what would happen next. Pascal seemed to have to struggle with his loyalty to the tribe and what was happening to him. Swooped into an unknown world for training as a sleeper he eventually meets Kyla. The attraction is strong. He becomes more and more despondent and self-destructive. He feels his leader and tribe had considered him a lost cause and did not come to rescue him after a year and a half. His letter to Franz was intercepted by Lara, Franz's mate. Lara's life had become empty and shallow. She wanted to live and feel and touch. She thought Pascal could help her kill Franz but he would not. Instead Kyla being a witch at Lara's request would turn her back into a human. But Lara would have to die to become human again. Franz followed her the day of her conversion and messed up everything. Lara put everyone's life in danger. The three of them got a reprieve for a quick get away from Franz. Kyla finally gave into Pascal and realized they were bound eternally as mates. Meanwhile Franz made his way back to the Monarchy to talk to Kieran. What a reveal. Looking forward to the next book.

VAMPIRES BITE is the fourth installment in the Shifters Confidential series by Juniper Hart. The characters are great and the author has a way of melding emotionally charged and danger packed scenes smoothly together for a great read. The many twists and turns still manage to leave room for some mildly steamy scenes.
A tribe of vampires has decided to infiltrate and collect information on the secret group called Sleepers and Pascal is assigned the job of infiltrating them. Once assigned, Pascal finds himself partnered with Kyla who seems to keep an annoying eye on his every move. With no contact from his tribe and feeling abandoned, Pascal slowly descends into drunken depression. Kyla is busy covering up his feeding kills while trying to maintain their low profile.
I'm still not sure exactly what Sleepers are supposed to do when "activated" nor am I sure if they are any better than their enemy, the Cabal.

A disappointing read with a storyline that did not flow smoothly and lacked details!!

.I usually enjoy reading books by this author but was disappointed in this book. I felt the story did not flow smoothly and was times was boring. The main characters in the story were Pascal, a vampire, and Kyla, an immortal witch. Pascal had joined a secret paranormal agency by order of his leader, hoping to expose the agency's plans. His immediate contact was Kyla, and her threats concerning his bad behavior were ignored by Pascal, who had allowed his disappointment in his role to fester. He was often drunk, angry, and abusive, feeling his tribe had abandoned him. Towards the end of the story, a vampire to whom he was once betrothed, visits him in secret, wanting him to assassinate their leader. The storyline from there becomes muddled and confusing. I am not aware of any earlier books in this series, the prologue gave some details but not enough to make the story believable.

****spoiler alert ***Before Pascal, Lara, and Franz were turned ,,,, Pascal and Lara were promised to each other and Franz loved her. When their village was taken over the women killed themselves and Lara tried to save her mother but Franz bit her. Franz went through a cave and got bit by vampire bats, and he bit Pascal too. He forced Pascal to sign up for the sleeper program so he could take them down but then forgot about him. Pascal was having problems with feeling that he lost control of everything but he was falling for Kayla who was watching him. But Lara found them and wanted to be human again but Franz wouldn’t let her so Pascal and Kayla did what Lara wanted but they did it to Franz too, they were mortal! Loved this book as I have always loved Juniper’s books! Ready for the next book to come out!

This is a NON-SPOILER REVIEW. Vampire's Bite by Juniper Hart is the fourth book in the Shifters Confidential series. This was an interesting turn for this series. Not what I expected, but definitely a good read. What happens when you are turned into a vampire without your consent? When Pascal's life takes a major left turn, he's left feeling like he has no control over his life. Between circumstances, opportunity and fate, he is about to discover that fate has the strongest hold. A sexy read (Mature Readers Only) that is a great addition to this series. Each book has its own mini story and contributes to the overall story line. The main storyline does not resolve in this book.

"Vampire's Bite" is the fourth book in the "Shifter Confidential" series and Juniper Hart didn't hold back in this one. If you've read the teaser for the book then you know that Pascal had no control over his life. He was turned into a vampire and followed orders like a good soldier. That is until he was recruited for a confidential mission and his past comes face to face with his present. This one was a bit different than the other books in the series and had twists and turns I didn't see coming. The chemistry is unbelievably HOT. The overall plot of the series hasn't been resolved yet so I'm waiting to see what happens there but this one definitely made the wait a little more interesting.

The fourth book in this wonderful series about the war between the sleepers and the Cabal and in this latest addition we get Pascal's story

This very well written book 4 in the Shifter's Confidential Series was intriguing as it had some very well-thought out scenes and story plots. These characters have very strong wills and personalities and their interactions are believable.This wonderful story has the following: intrigue, twists and turns, adventure, action, danger, love, steam and a HEA. It is a fast-paced, good shifter book that will keep you engaged from start to finish. I am will be on the lookout for books and series by this Author

Another book in the Shifter Confidential series. These books stand alone despite being part of a series. Some characters overlap from book to book, but there is enough information to add the necessary depth that the story flows easily. Catchy and easy to read, this book is difficult to put down. Packed with adventure, intrigue and romance, the book is entertaining and engaging.

I've read a lot of books written by Juniper Hart; she has done a great job at writing another good book; she is one of my favorite authors. I can’t wait to read more of books her books.
The story line caught my attention at the very beginning and kept me interested throughout the entire book.

Great addition to the Sci-Fi/Paranormal Romance genre!
The writing draws you in and keeps you involved throughout the whole story, I found myself in love with not only the characters but also the world she created.
The attitudes toward the events that are happening make the story even richer and the characters more relatable.

The fourth in the series is a great read. However, i do suggest reading the books in order. Pascals feels he has no control over his life. When his past and present collide, Kyla gets caught in the middle. There were a lot of twists that were not expected in this one. With enough effort between this couple, they will find their HEA.

Things are getting interesting!! Changes are occurring within the Sleepers group and events are moving quickly. The MC of Pascal is so very complex with multiple layers and emotions. Kyla will be his salvation but it takes a while for her to realize this and accept him as her destined mate. I eagerly await the next book to find out more about what will happen to the Sleepers and the Cabal!

Vampire's Bite by Juniper Hart is an amazing story that I have read. This is book number four in this amazing series that I have loved reading and can not wait to read what this author will write next. I highly recommend this story to everyone who loves reading about vampires, contemporary, dark and paranormal romance.

This is book 4 in the Shifters Confidential and it’s the best one by far it has fantastic characters and a great storyline and this is Pascal’s and Kyla’s story. Pascal was turned into a vampire against his will he’s a good little soldier and does what he is told until he is sent on a mission that changes his whole un dead life. I’m not going to get too much into this story but it’s a fantastic read and I highly recommend this book.

The fourth book in the series brings another interesting read. The author brings strong characters,tons of emotion,adds twists and turns along the way with all the danger throughout and delivers a great addition to the series. It's well written,moves quickly and smoothly and I enjoyed reading.

From the start it has been all wrong. The reason why Pascal joined the sleepers. Then he had a bad attitude all along. Kyla trying to keep him in line so he would not get into A LOT of trouble. This was an intense book with a lot of internal struggles. It was a good story, but I found myself struggling to get through the middle of the book, but the end kept me on the edge of the seat. Unfortunately I felt left hanging with a lot of questions.

The main character was well written and very interesting. He finds himself living a life for which he had no choice but the play out was so much more than he could have expected. The intensity of the drama and intrigue was captivating. The author wove a story that was fast paced and exciting. An enjoyable read.

This is the fourth book in the series, and things keep getting better and better. There's were some twists and turns I wasn't expecting. As always, the chemistry between Pascal and Kyla was amazing. This story just sucks you and keeps you entertained from beginning to end. Excellent read!!

Young at hart and as spiteful as childern
This story starts when a youg woman's town is over run by a waring fraction that takes the wemen to a cliff edge to jump to there deaths, only she is found by a vampire that makes his mate. Things change for the vampire to find out you need to read it, i hope you enjoy it like i did.

This is book 4 of the Shifters Confidential series. I found the story interesting and well written. There was plenty of action and twists and turns with great characters that I found well developed. The story had a great flow. A really great author and I recommend reading.
