Mari Carr and Lila Dubois never disappoint. This new short story spin-off series for the Warrior Scholars of the Trinity Masters is perfect. These ladies have the uncanny ability to pull you in and get you invested in their characters. I get wrapped up in every story they give us and this one left me with nothing but smiles and all the good feels. This short story provides you a complete and oh so satisfying look at the lives of Levi, Beatrix (Trixie), and Stefan that allows you a look into the Trinity Masters world until the next triad comes to us. Any peek into this world is a treat and this nibble is just what we needed.

Phew! (wipes away the hot flushes) a new spin-off of "Warrior Scholars" (an idea of Harrison to help protect Boston) and here is Levi being ridiculously gorgeous as a Classical scholar and ex-military.
He gets assigned to Bea(trice) and Stefan, and the sparks fly.

Love Levi, Bea and Stefan The Warrior Scholars, did not disappoint
Levi Hart, 32, former Army Ranger. Currently a Harvard Phd candidate, and hopes to some day be a Classic's Professor. He is one of 8 Warrior Scholars, recruited by Harrison Adams to provide rapid response security for the Trinity Masters in Boston. He and his team failed in their last mission and Levi landed in the Hospital.
Levi has just been given a new assignment as a reward for his hard work on his last assignment. He is to fly to LA to recruit actress and environmental activist, Trixie Stokes, Bea to her close friends. He will have help from another TM member, her boyfriend, actor and activist Stefan Boyd.
Bea and Stefan's relationship is strained. They put on a show for the public, in private they are both heart broken.
When Bea agrees to join, Levi stages an intervention for Stefan and Bea, it nothing else to give the lovers if not peace at least closure. He is pulled into a steamy night with the two, knowing this is all the three will ever have.
Fast paced and steamy MFM and a little MM, novella. Loved Levi, Bea and Stefan. Loved Levi's team, Montana, Andre and Tate, cant't wait for their stories. Can't wait to meet the team that lives on the B side of their duplex.

Wow!!!! Another amazing story by the talented Lila DuBois and Mari Carr.
This is a nice short easy to read novella in the Trinity Masters series. This story is about Levi who was a minor character in the previous book but who deserved his own book. Thanks Lila for making sure it happened! (Okay, Mari was also responsible too.)
Levi, Stefan and Beatrix are wonderful characters and I can't wait to see them pop up again in future novels in this story. And yes, I do fully expect to see them mentioned in future novels.
It is the perfect escape for right now with everything going on in the world. It has everything I have come to expect from these two talented yet slightly demented writers. It has wonderful characters complete with flaws, action packed scenes and panty melting menage sex between partners who are in love and care for each other.
My only issues with this novella are it is too short and cauliflower rice. Sorry but cauliflower should be roasted with wonderful spices like ras al hanout or Baharat spices. And it should never riced nor served in a white bowl. Mari and Lila please consult with your FB teams before doing this again please.

I realized when I read Joyful Engagement, that I had totally skipped over this book! I'm not sure how that happened, but I immediately went back and picked this one up. And I'm so glad I did! There is so much going on in this story, Warrior scholars, lost legacies, and famous actresses, oh my! I have to admit, there were more than a few times I LOL'd, to the point of tears almost! There is plenty of love, and laughter, in this story, and more than a bit of drama. This is a novella, so although the characters get their HEA, there isn't as much back ground story, or outside influences in this book, as there are in the full length stories. But don't be sad! There is plenty to keep the story going, and I was left with a happy smile on my face at the end! It's a beautiful story, all about star crossed lovers, and a hopeless situation that (of course!) ends in an amazing HEA!

Nothing is a better gift than when books are released early! Hollywood Lies was fantastic, I loved getting to see the other trinities lives and the Scholar Warriors were a great choice for novella material! Their relationship with each other is so fun.
As for the Trinity, I loved seeing the reality of the TM sacrifice and what someone might do to get out for the one they love. Franco is the greatest character in the whole series and I will fight anyone who tries to argue differently ♥️♥️♥️ a great read for an afternoon avoiding work

First, you should know that I love Trinity Masters! Second, that I was a little hesitant since this is our first story dedicated to Warrior Scholars and I wasn't sure it would be as good as the rest. Finally, OMG, I needn't have worried!
The action is what I've come to expect but I felt like the heat was up a notch from usual. Levi, Bea and Stefan have chemistry off the charts and I loved every moment of this wild ride. You absolutely must read this book and I'm still hoping to stumble across my very own trinity someday!

So many secrets that Levi, Trixie and Stefan may just drown underneath them. A secret society, secrets buried in the past, secrets hidden in the present, secret plans waiting to be executed and a secret lust fighting to escape and feed the sparks between them all.
A hot, steamy, dark and dangerous path has been laid before them, are they brave enough to follow it?
I love the Warrior Scholars...a spin off within the Trinity Masters series and an awesome novella that ties in beautifully and answers the questions left hanging in book 11.

I love this book but I hoped there was more to the story like in the other books. I missed the suspense and action like the Trinity Masters and Masters Admiralty books. I feel like the scholars need a mission too. I know this characters are going to be part of the Trinity Masters books but just a little bit of action would be fun. I'm too spoiled with the secret missions. Overall it's a great book and I loved it.

I can not get enough of The Trinity Masters series and now we have a slight spin-off with The Warrior Scholars.
I loved seeing Harrison again and I can not wait to see what is in store for the rest of the guys.\
I love that we get several points of views within the story and that it is done so well that the story flows perfectly.

A sweet & spicy afternoon read
A short angsty story in the Trinity Masters world, this tale has romance and smoking sexy times without the action and intrigue. We really get to know Bea, Stefan, and Levi as well as revisit some of our old favorites. You can see the HEA coming a mile away but that doesn’t make it any less sweet. Sigh.

Loved this spinoff to the Masters series! What a great twist...scholar warriors. The gang of men Levy lives with I'm sure sets the stage for more Warrior books.
Levy is sent on a quest, which should have been fairly simple and straightforward however what would be the fun in that!

It was really good - the characters were well-written and you got into their story. I gave it 4 stars and not 5 as I missed the complex story-line that goes with the full-length novels.

Wow! Love the Warrior Scholars!
Great to see Levi again (met in Fiery Surrender) & to see him interact with the other Warrior Scholars. Bonus we get more Franco (Jazz hands & all).

This was a great story . I love the characters and the storyline. The heartbreak was beautifully described I felt it myself. I missed the suspense but it was a story that touched my heart. I loved it.

Shorter so more about the people than the purpose of the Society. Not really enough space to develop characters. The society just seemed creepy here. Very controlling of the members and the world. Makes one wonder how many creepy organizations like this actually exist.

Not up to the Trinity Masters usual standard
Although set in the world of the Trinity Masters there is no backstory, no real character development and therefore no inclination for the reader to emotionally identify with any of the lead characters.
It was a quick HEA read and it was okay, I doubt I will follow the series on this one.

Lila Dubois and Mari Carr decided to take us on a little side trip from the Trinity Masters series with a few novellas about the Warrior Scholars. Wow, am I glad they did. A handful of brilliant scholars who are all former U.S. military act as the Grand Master's security team in Boston. We get a little background on four of the scholars and I can hardly wait to read their stories.
First up, Levi Hart. Former Army now working on his PhD in order to become a Classics Professor. The Grand Master gives Levi a solo assignment to recruit an A list Hollywood star, Trixie Stokes, to the Trinity Masters. Piece of cake, right? To make it even easier, Levi will be assisted by Stefan Boyd, Trixie's long time boyfriend. It's definitely not easy going. Trixie is a hard sell, for sure. Stefani's unable to provide any assistance beyond an introduction and there's the kicker, Levi finds himself falling for Trixie despite the fact that there's no chance they'll be bound together in a triad.

Levi, Trixie, and Stefan are the next triad created by the Trinity Masters in this series. Levi is a security man for the Trinity Masters but he is also a grad student. He is sent to talk Trixie in to joining the Trinity Masters. There to help him with this task is Trixie's ex Stefan.
Stefan proves to be more of a problem than a help with the task. Trixie hates Stefan with a passion. Levi has his work cut out for him in trying to gain Trixie's trust and her willingness to join.
