Ariana Adams sat before the world’s most desirable CEO of a Fortune 500 company, Carter Anderson. He was known for being a huge contributor to feeding the homeless in Milan, due to owning a restaurant catering to them. He owned a restaurant out there that catered to them. Twice a year, he would fly out to the restaurant to help them and check-up on how it was running. Everyone wanted to be beside him or beneath him. He was gorgeous with his messy auburn hair and forest green eyes. His charming smile made him hard to decline, and the way he carried himself professionally made most women fall at his feet. Some men too. She was lucky to have been accepted to work for his publishing house, Anderson Publishing Co. Lucky to have passed the many hoops needed to make sure she was qualified for the position. Her heart was leaping in her chest and her throat felt tight, as she waited to be given instruction. She just wanted to do this job correctly and to his liking. Her slender fingers wrapped around her pencil as she brought the end to her full lips, waiting.

This was the first book that I read by Minette Enfers. As I was reading, it felt like a mix of some Fifty Shades of Grey, with some Crossfire series mixed with a bit of The Hating Game with the sexual work tension.
The chemistry between the main characters Ari and Carter developed very very quick.
I will say definitely read the trigger warnings because there are several of them.
There were lots of sex and naughty scenes like it’s pretty consistent. Like every other page. However the way the book ended, I will definitely need to read the second one because I can’t leave it there.
