Alex has discovered new abilities tied to his Implanted Neural Controller, but the galaxy is growing more dangerous by the day, and Ace always seems to find himself in the center of it.
As Cronus team heads to Arcadia for a well-earned victory lap and some much-needed rest, secret forces are at work to destabilize the galaxy. No one is safe—especially people like Ace Evans, whose integrity and morals make him a target. But as the dangers grow, so does the need for the valiant warriors in their mechanized battle armor. The action is just heating up, and nothing can stop the clash of forces that are charging toward one another at breakneck speed.
Part military adventure, part space opera mystery, Cronus Team is the pivotal third book in the best-selling Ace Evans series. With characters you can’t help but fall in love with, a sweeping intergalactic plot, and plenty of action, Cronus Team is a fantastic book by master storyteller Toby Neighbors in the tradition of Starship Troopers, The Expanse, Old Man’s War, and Star Wars.
Ok for a quick romp but not coherent enough for my taste
Too scripted and the plot is not very believable. Antagonists are really smart until they are as dumb as doorknobs. Protagonists have the same flaw. Got through the first book which was better then the second. But stopped in the middle of the third one and just could not continue. Whole series seems too rushed without proper editorial oversight.
I’m glad that a few unedited chapters from Book 4 were included. Looks like it comes out in a month.
This was great. Starts to slink into politics, which I rarely enjoy, but it’s not too bad. Ace is in a pickle, no doubt about that, but his super power seems to be just warming up!
And then things turned on a dime. Mystery, corporate intrigue, government coups, and space battle bots. There is Ace in the middle of it all and Loman trying to morally stay the course. He could just take his ball and go home. Good read entertaining and on to book 4
Great story with only 2 or 3 editing errors. Th story, while fiction, could be from the news around the country today. Unfortunately we don’t have an Ace Evans and team to help. Great story
A good read that was rather hard to put down. If you know about ace Alex etc then read on and enjoy just find time to read as you may not want to put it down once you start.
The series started well but now are getting political and getting boring. I wish Neighbors wouldn't do that. Only two of The 5 series of books I have read have been good in my opinion
Alex is continuing to grow his skills both with the Titan and with his INC chip. Loman is no closer to finding out about all the machinations that the evil cabal are up to. The story continues to be interesting to read!
Besides the military action in this book and the previous books, there are increasingly important political issues being raised. Things are starting to boil and the end is not in site!
Well another great storyline and totally surprised that the CEO in charge of a security firm is a coward at heart. Great to see Ace cracking the whip lol
A lot of unexpected twists and turns... But that is what I have come to expect from this series, and if the last chapter is anything to go by the best is yet to come.
