This is the first self help book I have ever read, and it read a lot like a text book. I can’t say it was entertaining, which is the usual metric I use in evaluating a book. But it provided some good insights for evaluating and improving your life. Fortunately, as a 70 year old, I have had the opportunity to apply a lot of these insights in my own life, on my own, in my own time. And they can help you to succeed in life. I can’t say I agreed with everything in the book, but you need to identify what works for you and go with it. My biggest problem with the book was having a title for every grouping of several paragraphs. I could not find any continuity in my reading, which is a fail on my part. Just remember that you can usually learn more from your failures than from your successes.
