I’m leaving. Or at least, I thought I was leaving… ...until the future King of Argyle got me pregnant.
It was supposed to be one little sailing trip with a childhood friend. A final goodbye to the islands of my youth.
It’s never that simple, though, is it? Because my childhood friend has turned into a full-grown, hot-blooded man, who happens to be the future King.
Prince Theo is tall. He’s commanding. He’s everything that’s been missing from my life, and he’s not afraid to show me all the reasons I should stay.
...The main reason being him, and the way he makes my thighs clench. My cheeks burn. My heart thump.
Anytime we’re together, my body and mind are at war. My body always wins. Again, and again, and again.
We shouldn’t be together. I shouldn’t be here at all. And I definitely shouldn’t be pregnant.
Now, the question is—will Prince Theo still want me to stay when he knows I’m carrying his heir?
Wrong Prince is Book 6 of the Royally Unexpected series. The Little Mermaid gets retold with a dash of accidental pregnancy and a whole lot of heat. Read Books 4 and 5 for the complete story of all the Princes of Argyle!
Note: Previously titled Knocked Up by the Wrong Prince.
Lilian Monroe lives in a luxurious jungle treehouse surrounded by lush greenery, with an army of scantily-clad men with rippling abdominal muscles ready to attend to her every need.
No, wait. That's not true.
Lilian Monroe spends her days dangling her feet into her pool, while a scantily-clad pool boy with rippling abdominal muscles feeds her chocolate-covered strawberries and massages her back.
Okay, okay. You got me. That's not true, either. Let's try again.
Lilian Monroe lives at home with her two children, three dogs, and twelve chickens. Her husband likes to work shirtless in the back yard. His sweaty, gleaming abdominal muscles ripple with every movement and he—
I'm sorry. I have to stop. Fine, I'll admit it. That one isn't true either.
How about this: Lilian Monroe loves thinking about men with rippling abdominal muscles serving her hand and foot, and she wants you to think about them too! She is an avid reader, writer, and lover of all things romance.
She loves everything from bad boys to billionaires. Her books are packed with sizzling-hot heat, action, suspense, and everything from second chances to single dads. She hates cheating and loves a good happily ever after (and rippling abs).
I almost didn't read this book. After reading Luca's book and despite him being happy with Ivy. I couldn't get over the fact that his ex, Cara, chose his brother!!! While he was learning how to walk again!! So I took a few months off (after binge reading books 1-4) I finally finished Dante's book and now Cara's and Theo's book.
It's not as bad and I don't hate them as much even though I do still cringe every time they bring up Luca. I get it though. Things between Cara and Luca were over, he pushed her away and she needed to pick herself back up after 3 years of being lost without him. Even Theo believed that Luca wouldn't be able to tie her down/keep her in Argyle because she was always so independent. Even her dad didn't think Luca deserved her and her sister said he treated her badly. “I’m tired of torturing myself about Luca, when he’s only brought pain into my life.” And I guess they were right, who was he to expect for her to wait around for him? BUT I still do think it's a little messed up that she moved on with his brother. But love is love I guess.
Theo and Cara were always friends and then something shifted/changed between them when they were sailing around the islands. Her mother had always wanted an in with the royals and suggested to the king that Cara and Theo should be married because she would be the perfect queen to the people (considering how much the people love her dad, an ex Olympian). And although they still feel like they're betraying Luca, they can't deny how great it would be if they were married to each other. So they pretend until she leaves to go chase her dreams as a singer and until he becomes king. “or, we decide that we can’t live without each other, and you marry me. We live a happy life together and have lots of little heirs.”
I have to admit, it was sweet watching them fall for each other.
It's also kind of crazy she found out she was pregnant after 3 weeks. I just googled it and it's definitely possible. I guess I also assumed pregnancy signs doesn't show until maybe 6 weeks? And I hated the miscommunication. Her not telling him she was pregnant and him telling her to pursue her dreams because he didn't want to hold her back. And then she had the audacity to move to New York and write the pregnancy in a letter and mail it the P.O Box she and LUCA used, hoping Theo would find it??? How would he even find it or know to look there when it was used for her and LUCA?? But luckily he did find it because Luca told him on the phone that he sent Theo a card to that same P.O Box. And then he blames himself for pushing her away? I get not wanting to give up her dreams but she did him dirty by not telling him she was pregnant AND moving to New York. I am extremely sad for what happened to her though.

....I didn't want to read this one. This story took place before the other two. I didn't understand why it was being told after. With that being said, I loved the book. I love their story. They went through a lot on a short amount of time. Once I started reading I didn't want to stop. I enjoyed this whole series and the one before this as well. I love when all the characters are intertwined. The extended epilogue was funny, but it wasn't what I wanted to hear. I wanted to know what happened in the future, how they are doing now. I didn't want a missing chapter from a year ago.
Cara is a girl with a dream. Cara goes with soon to be king, Theo on a sailing adventure. Something changes for both, but they are both too foolish to say how each feel. When Theo finally gets the nerve up unexpectedly things change and Theo says goodbye. Will these two people be together or apart forever? You read and decide!!
We were introduced to Theo and Cara in Book #4 and saw them in Book #5. Book #6 in the series "Knocked Up By The Wrong Prince" presents Theo & Cara's story. We get to travel through a range of emotions and finally a HEA. Though the previous books set a higher expectation, this book is on par with most of them. Overall a good read.
Royally Unexpected book 6. A great read. It starts off slow but picks up pretty fast. I enjoyed it a lot more than I imagined. This was Prince Theo and Cara story. Angsty, dramatic, and and passionate.
This is the Prequel to the series and I would have liked to read it first but it does have some spoilers to the other books and so I see why it's last. Loved the ending.
This was a good story. I wanted to know what happened with Theo and Cara and it was great to go back and see what happened from their perspective. So much we didn’t know. It’s sad, it’s sweet and it ends up being a beautiful story.
Each book I've read in this series I think its my new favorite but this time I know this one is my new favorite. I didn't like Cara and Theo when they were introduced in other books but after reading their story I get it. Definitely a must read!
Great romance but feet sad. It was great to find out about Cara and Thea’s story. I would say to read it before Luca’s story in broken Prince but the epilogue comes after all 3 and would give away some of the endings to the other stories.
I was very hesitant to read this book, I hate back peddling when I’m on a roll, but I’m glad I did. Even though I knew they ended up together it was a cute story as to how they got there❤️
I finished reading the entire nine-book series. Each one was enjoyable. Stunning and fascinating stories. As soon as I finished one, I eagerly anticipated the next. Despite having the same title, the plot is entirely different. Once you start reading, you can't stop. Excellent author. I'll most certainly read more works by this author.
