This prequel to the exciting, page-turning medical mystery Bent Oath is a suspenseful thriller about the rich and powerful and what they’ll do to keep their secrets safe.
Russell Bessette’s newest story about the consequences of government corruption once again features brilliant trauma surgeon Susan Whitney. When she’s targeted by a crooked congressman with false claims, Susan finds herself facing charges of manslaughter. Threatened by menacing opponents who would silence her forever, Susan must expose greedy criminals and clear her name before she loses her life.
A chilling novel with frightening twists and turns, Fatal Oath is a thriller with a strong, smart female protagonist and a pulse-pounding, edge-of-your-seat narrative involving a medical conspiracy that reaches to the highest levels of power.
I was confused because this story appears to precede the first book I read . The lawyer Reinhardt was disabled in that one . The venom directed at Dr Whitney did not make sense .
I liked this book because it gave the background for the first book. The tow main characters, Sue and Andy, are well developed and very likeable. I am ready to read the next one. Highly recommend this book.
Fatal Oath was a very good story. The medical issues were told in a layman's terms so even I could understand. The book was a page-turner that kept your interest til the last page.
