When ambition turns to misfortune, you get Kace. A rebel in every sense of the word. Driven by the kind of anger that grips you and never lets go. Ruthless with his words and his vengeance. And absolutely, positively, not interested in little miss goody two shoes, Janey Bradshaw.
She thinks she can save the world, build something good out of the ruined...one damaged brick at a time. Except Kace is no brick and his world is way past saving. It doesn't matter how many times she injects herself in his life. Or how insistent she is on her "save the rebel" campaign. It doesn't matter that she's followed him into the bowels of hell... And it sure as shit doesn't matter that a kiss in hell can feel a heck of a lot like heaven.
Some kisses aren't born out of lust, or need, or desire. Some kisses are simply meant to save a life. But their kiss might very well be the beginning of the end of hers.
A little bit of a bully romance, a whole bunch of highschool badboy. Get ready for Kace to steal your soul in this enemies to lovers romance!
I loved this so much, so freaking awesome. At the beggining, I found Janey a little bit annoying and pushy but as the book advanced you could see that she did that from loyalty, concern and love, she was a pain in the ass but because she cared. Kace was just trying to get by in life, even if he wasn't the life he wanted, he was just trying to do the best he could without hurting anyone and protecting the ones he loved. They shouldn't work but somehow they did, and I loved that, that each would anything for the other
Not gonna lie, some elements of the story are little bit far fetched, but everything else makes that kind of magic I hope for when I start a new book, and I rarely get to discover it. Enjoy this unicorn, especially for how adorable its main characters are.
