This is a book I have on my top favorite to read. Such a loving story in understanding and seeing a beautiful relationship between a father and daughter, especially during a time where a child leaves the nest to discover themselves into the world that is unknown, scary, and sometimes completely brutal to our heart and spirit. Goes to show that when we find ourselves in our darkest moments, there is someone in our life who wants to know how we are doing and is willing to do anything to help and lessen the burden we tend to carry when we think we are alone and have to carry it on our own. Even when the thing we can do is write a letter a day in showing how much we care. SO thankful in reading this book and so thankful as a daughter myself, to have a loving father, perhaps they may not write books, but they definitely show their love in other ways that makes me thankful to have a loving father just like this great author to write a collection of poems for their daughter. Fathers like these are one of a kind and it was such an honor to read and see this relationship develop through each memory and poem. Tears of joy for father and daughter relationships.
