This book is South African and available from Van Schaik publishers. It nicely introduces the core beliefs of six major religious systems from a multireligion perspective, these being African Religion, Buddhism, Hinduism, Judaism, Christianity and Islam. The authors plainly lay out the defining aspects of each family of religions as accurately and factually as they can. While the book is primarily organised by religion, it also provides a second table of contents organised by themes.

One of the books left to me by my late grandmother and a treasure trove for people who yearn to know more about the religions and belief systems of our pluralistic world.
