No one can save me. I have to save myself.
My mates can’t find me. My wolf doesn’t sense them anywhere near. Rattlecreek finally got what they wanted, the healer right in their hands. And they aren’t planning to let me go alive. If they can’t have me, nobody can. They’ve already robbed me of the ability to walk—again.

Not for long.
They’ve underestimated me, though, and soon they will know by how much.
Because my mates, my house, my great-grandmother, and my life are all waiting for me outside. A future. With or without the ability to run. And I won’t let them or myself down. I am more than my legs. More than my gift even, but I owe the use of that gift to my pack. It, and I, will not be held for long.

Two of my mates have yet to mate and mark me. I will not be denied the life that is my destiny.

Now if I could just wake up.

Dominion is the 4th book in a paranormal reverse harem shifter series featuring a badly injured female wolf shifter, her healing, and the four male wolf shifters who all want to be her fated mate. It is a why choose werewolf romance with a slow burn buildup sure to make your toes curl. Relationships develop over the course of this supernatural series and, of course, Mazzy guarantees an HEA.

Well this was just a disappointment overall really, the author just rushed through the whole thing, the escape, the war, both lasted literally a few pages and the last bit of the book Wendi just changed character completely ! Her grans death she had a page of morning then not mentioned again, bit like oh well never mind and the wedding rushed and not what she wanted but that was ok too, she started out strong but apparently by end of series she was weak ! I also thought it might have been nice that the book showed some disability representation and it would have been nice to show that she was strong to start with, this series is completely ableist, she was ‘healed’ , you know what she was stronger with her disability and before her Mates. The first three books I enjoyed but wanted to see where the author was going to take this, but overall this book and the series was just disappointing and could have been so much better, I feel like they are marketing towards disability rep with the cover and they are letting people down.

Oh damn this book was confusing. I love this series a lot. But this book was really wtf. Moss his house was burned down in the previous book, but was now standing again? And the scenes went from meeting the council to days later. It just didnt add up.

RH MMMM/Shifters/Fated Mates-Insta Attraction

The FC, Wendi, has been stuck in a wheelchair since she was 5 years old when she was in a car accident that killed her parents. She was then looked after by her aunt until there was a fire which killed her aunt. She then decides to start anew at a university and buy her own house in an attempt to be more self sufficient. The house she buys is on the Midnight Alder pack lands. When she is brought into the pack, having never been part of a pack, she meets her fated mates (although she does not know that they are her mates) and discovers that she is been sought after by another pack, the Rattlesnake pack from whom the Midnight Alder Pack must protect her. It turns out that she is a rare healer and the series covers the evolution of her relationship with the MCs and the FC discovering her legacy and background whilst fighting to keep away from the Rattlesnake pack.

Heat Level: 🌶️🌶️🌶️/🍆🍆🍆 The scenes ramp up as the story progresses and there are group and one on one scenes with all centred around the FC and no MM scenes. I found” the writing to be crude and didn’t really work for me “Hot semen poured in to me” - really? That’s not hot that’s just “eew” 🫣

• There are material editing issues including sentences that just don’t make sense and disjoints with parts of the story. One minute the FC can barely walk and the next she can walk decent distances; The FC manages to escape from a house fire that kills her aunt but which the girl in the wheelchair somehow survives? Book 2 ends on a minor cliffhanger with a house burning down yet there’s no mention of it in Book 3, in fact its not even acknowledged; There’s a sudden mention of the Alpha’s twin brother appearing who has never been mentioned before but then no explanation as to where he’s been or why he’s suddenly popped up; The FC is lauded as a rare healer and yet apparently her grandmother has been living in the pack as a healer??

The story as a whole was hackneyed and unoriginal. The “crippled” heroine that was clearly not really crippled but was just too stupid to live - check? (I mean, who spends 15 years taking unknown pills, not seeing or questioning the lack of medical diagnosis or the fact that her aunt kept her sequestered her whole life?) An FC who discovers that she has some incredible, rare healing power that makes her wanted by every pack - check? The old women who pitches up out of the blue to “teach” the FC about her gift who turns out to be related – check? However god forbid she tells the FC that they are related or about her background and her family and once the FC finds out why would the FC bother asking about her family and why she did not know she had other family? Apparently she wouldn’t, only a normal person would ask questions 🙄 🫣

The author throws in so many plot mechanisms purely designed to create some kind of angst that they are just annoying. For example, the FC herself is incredibly annoying as the author insists on painting her as one of those FCs who has clearly met her fated mates but refuses to see that and instead believes the MCs are only attentive because she’s a healer and important to the pack 😡. This is further compounded by the fact that the MCs do not tell her she is their fated mate despite there being absolutely no reason not to other than the author trying for some dramatic effect. The FC also gets given a file about herself and her parents but unlike any normal person who would read the file she doesn’t. She reads a few pages then puts it aside to read later. Of course it turns out to be purely a mechanism so the author can create a lame plot twist when she comes back to read more 😒 However does the FC then rush off to clarify what she has discovered? Apparently not, she goes to plan her wedding. The author’s attempts at plot twists and drama were dreadful and so badly manufactured they were just insulting to the reader.

The FC herself came across as annoying, stupid and weak. I could not engage with her or the MCs to any real degree. I think the author was trying to write a strong character but she comes across as aggressive and stupid in how she digs her heels in over pointless issues and seems to be constantly crying.
Overall this was a badly written and poorly constructed story with an unlikeable heroine that the author insisted on dragging out over multiple books.

Bad conclusion to bad series.

This is the last book in series about Wendi and her quartet. So. Lets mention how cheap the climax was, how ridiculous was HEA, how many untied ends was left. During books so far there are multiple mentions of how Wendis parents died in a car crash that ended in Wendi in wheelchair, how her aunt fed her pills that prevented her from shifting, how her aunts house was burned down with the aunt still in it, how those were all tied and probably someone is behind it. One would think author would resolve it, tidy up or something, but no- that is left unmentioned. Then protagonists get their hands on the same drug to use on Wendi, but again, no explanation how or even why. The opposing pack is dead set on getting Wendi, but there is no explanation on exactly why. Some speculation from Wendi is not an answer. No reasoning given for her aunt. No answer given about "sword" that gets constantly mentioned.
So, when you think author can't get any more cheap and cheesy, our penta is given a dream wedding against their wishes, war gets dismissed and Wendi becomes millionaire. Because, why not? She walked away from wheelchair, became ultra special and wanted by everyone in the world, so money was the last thing author could give.

Now, it may have still warranted 2 stars, but grammar mistakes didn't let it happen. If you can't write well, you can at least make sure it is grammatically and phonetically correct. If you don't do either, you have no business of calling yourself an author. This book is a train wreck.

I not only don't recommend this book, I don't recommend the whole series.
P.s. I will not bother with the next book.

🐲🐲ONE PULSE RACING TREAT🐲🐲
Slaying dragons! Mazzy flat brings it with this spinning debacle, jumping straight into the fray, kicking it up and riding on full throttle, running with this heart pounding, pulse racing, adrenaline pumping, block busting thrill, melding this baby together seamlessly. A swirling vortex chocked-full of vexing exigency and startling events, heeding the taxing trials and arduous tribulations, along with the deadly twists and wicked turns, propel those churning emotions into play front and center, testing our characters in ways they could have never envisioned. Disadvantages are heightened and exploited, laying out all the fervent facts, hard deals and dodging debacles, shifting this baby into overdrive, slamming it into a tailspin with a mind-blowing culmination. Banded, bound and tightly wound, baring the crazed quirks and defying bents, launching this jewel to life flawlessly. The characters are realistic, genuine and complex with qualities and traits that add depth and diversity, blending into amazing personalities. The scenes are abundantly descriptive with colorful details that blend and flow, creating a majestic backdrop that's so rich and lively it feels as though you can just reach out and touch it. Fantastic job Mazzy, thanks for sharing the little gem with us.

Dominion. Book 4

Rattlecreek Pack made the worst decision by having Wendi abducted. Giving her the shot of the medicine that her aunt make her take for years to hide her wolf, was even worse. Wendy's great grandmother had told her that her healing gift could also be used to Take. Wendi uses her power to get away from the two that are holding her captive and hoping she runs across any of her mates before the Rattlecreek Pack realizes she is gone.
She is successful in finding the strongest mate, Escher, who helps to get her back home. Wendi had asked her mates about going ahead and getting married to be more a part of their lives and the pack. She realized how quickly something could go wrong when she had been kidnapped and was afraid she would loose her mates and her future. All her mates loved the idea but before they could let the pack know, the Rattlecreek Pack declares war.
Wendi is successful in teaching the Alpha Samson that times have changed and the women need to know how to protect themselves and the children.
A lot of good and bad things happen within the story.

Wendi has been kidnapped by the Rattlecreek pack who want her gift for themselves – or no one will get it! She knows her mates can’t find her because her wolf can’t sense them near here. Rattlecreek pack has promised they will never let her go alive. They think they have incapacitated her and prevented her escape. Not for long. Her pack and family need her and she won’t let them down. How can she get free? Who is it that is so determined to keep her no matter what?

This is a very exciting story line as war threatens and the packs are feeling desperate. But Wendi herself is also preparing and she will let nothing stop her now. Will she escape? Or will the Rattlecreek pack see her dead first, as they promised?

Ok so my thoughts..

I really liked the storyline and the characters. However I did have a hard time connecting to the characters. I felt like I just skimmed over the surface of the story. Like there wasn't enough depth to the characters for me to grasp an emotional connection to them. And sometimes when things happened I felt left out and unsure on how things happened. Like key parts were just left out and not even hinted at. The character development... was lacking I guess. Once again felt like things were missing and as hard as I tried I wasn't able to become the characters. There was so much information but not enough of the right information for it to really flow for me. I felt like it kept skipping and jumping around a lot. I did enjoy it and even Lol at times that was inappropriate IRL

I've been waiting for this book to be released so I could find out what happens to Wendi and I was not disappointed. She and her mates along with their pack have challenges ahead and with Wendi's help and Christie's determination. the women are allowed to train in case they need to defend themselves. There will be a heart felt loss and a war to win but the Midnight Alder pack is ready to defeat the Rattlecreek pack. When the dust settles and Wendi and the guys get their HEA, Christie remains in the middle between Samson and Tris but we will have to wait for the next book to find out what happen with them.

Disappointing

This was merely a snapshot of scenes that needed to occur to finish this arc of the story. The screens were disjointed and left unfinished in some ways. Like a cut scene and then move on. There was a lot of build up for Christie’s spin-off. Almost no development of the relationships. She had one more guy to check off on the list and that’s all it felt like. Simply checking him off. War was declared and the enemy was nice enough to give them plenty of time to prepare before their attack. How generous of them. And finally the wedding was done in the way that she did not want but oh well right?

Unfortunately what I said In my review of book 3 remains true. Personally, I thought it not a strong ending. The war was over in like 3 pages: why start a war you know you cant win? Why no attempt at diplomacy? Why is FMC portrayed with a sword she can't and won't wield? Why could the FMC be abducted in such a way that her mates coukdnt find her trace (clever rattlecreek) yet they didnt use this skill in the attack (stupid rattlecreek)? Even I could come up with multiple scenarios from the rattlecreek perspective that would have better outcomes and I'm far from a battle strategist.
These were just some of the questions I had while reading the story, which frustrated my reading experience.

A good finish to the series

If you've seen my previous reviews, you'll see I complained a ton about inconsistencies. On the bright side, none really happen in this one, or no big dramatic ones. However, nothing is mentioned again about the fire that took her aunt, or the "accident" that took her parents. Maaaaybe somehow it'll come up in the next series with Christie?

I also feel a few things were kind of rushed through in this book that were kind of big. Considering the series, or at the very least this book, was somewhat being lead up to both events.

That said, I'm disappointed that the books are done with Wendi, but I'm excited to continue reading about Christie!

Triumph over everything.
by and1515

From the moment she moved nothing has been the same and all her plans went out the window and she's been fighting to make herself heard.
But now she's having to find the strength to beat back the enemy trying to control her as she waits for her mates.
But when push comes to shove will her mates, friends and pack be able to triumph over an enemy trying to tear everything they hold dear apart?

We have a little self conflict, fear, action and suspence. We start the story were we ended the last book with Wendi being kidnapped by the Rattlecreek pack. What she does to free herself, will she be able to live with it? Will she be really able to get away? Will her mates ever find her? Now they are calling war, will they be able to win? What will Wendi do to protect her family and mates? Will she get the wedding she wants? Who is really behind the Rattlecreek Pack that is trying to keep her?

I’m loving this series and this is book 4 in the Shifters of Consequence. Wendi’s kidnappers believe that she can’t use her legs but they are ohh so wrong and she manages to escape, the Rattlecreek pack kidnapped Wendi and they would rather kill her than give her back so Wendi had no choice but to escape. Wendi gets back to her pack and to her mates who are furious then the alpha declares war on the Rattlecreek pack but Wendi is a healer not a warrior so in the end will Wendi get her HEA?. Fantastic story/ series and I highly recommend this book.

4 stars for Dominion by Mazzy J March. This is the fourth and final book in the Shifters of Consequence series. Wendi needs to save herself because not only can her mates not find her , they are nowhere near her. I will say some parts were a little confusing to me, but it did not take away from the story. The story is getting exciting and all the secrets are coming out. I so feel like if I say to much it might ruin something. But Wendi has grown and grown throughout the whole series and I have enjoyed it.

Wow this series gets bigger and bigger every book. This book has loads more twists and turns and shows the love between Wendi and her guys throughout.
The book starts from where the last book ended with her being kidnapped by Rattlecreek wolves. To then see them go through war to then end on a high with a sweet ending. I could say so much about this book but I dont want to give anything away. So go pick this up today

Only RH I have read,

Only RH I have read and it will remain that way. I love urban fantasy so I thought I would give this book a try. I read all of Wendy's story because the main plot was good. Overall it was just blah. The writing was weak, no suspense, no intrigue. This was a Supposed to be a romance but there really was none. No one swept Wendy off her feet it was all just magnetism that linked them together. I guess this genre is just not for me.

Why

Why does the second, third and fourth book in a series need an excerpt from book one tacked onto the end? Except to add pages read?
The whole series so far is a good story that needs work. The climax of the HEA in this one is weirdly skimmed over, there are threads that end abruptly without enough exploration, and the big 'war' turns out to be one fight that's barely described.

*WARNING* contains adult content
I was worried this series would become repetitive, but I am pleasantly surprised. This book seems to wrap Wendi's story. The next book looks to be the start of Christi's story. I enjoyed this series. It has a lot of happenings. This story has more development of the Wendi character. There are still answered questions, so my guess is that Wendi and her mates will still be in the up coming books, at least in cameo.

OK, so Wendi is finally starting to get a back bone and standing up for herself. She half saves herself and stands up for womens rights. It frustrates me with all the men thinking that women can't do anything though. I know they want to care for their women, but really, they can't cook, can't fight, can't do anything without having someone do it for them. If it was me, I would start to feel smothered. Good series though.

Good Finish to Wendi's Story

Thanks for the ride Mazzy. I look forward to Christi's story in the continuation of Shifters of Consequence universe. You took care of business relative to the main plot and I hope the Good Shifters can help others like the mistreated ones in Rattle Creek Pack
