Nothing is stronger than the power of a soulbond, even the end of the world.

Gabby Gellar is a fire elementalist with an attitude. She has been told so many times by her parents that she's worthless she no longer questions that truth. Pushed away by the only people she's ever loved, Gabby shuts everyone out. Friends, acquaintances, buddies, chums, and especially romantic relationships, are kept at arm's length, or further if she can help it. Gabby knows she could never be good enough to be anyone's girlfriend, much less someone's soulbonded. So why does the thought of a certain water elementalist have her out of bed well past midnight, pacing and cursing, trying to deny the part of her that's silently calling to him, reaching for his magic, thirsting for it like a dying man in the desert. Dammit!

To Liam Nash, life is merely a joke, something to laugh at and enjoy. An endless stream of amusements made even more amusing by the water magic he uses to manipulate the world around him. Liam never thought he'd actually have a soulbounded. He was content to be unattached, a flirt, a perpetual bachelor ... but that was before he met Gabby. Now, he was certain she was his soulbonded, as sure as the sun would rise tomorrow.

Unfortunately, the sun's rising is no longer a sure thing. With half of the royal elementalists imprisoned in the underworld, the earth's climate has been thrown into chaos. Temperatures are steadily dropping, volcanoes are spontaneously erupting, and earthquakes are becoming commonplace. If the light elementalists have any hope of rescuing the planet from the dark forces seeking to destroy it, the elemental academies will have to work together. That means an overeager water elementalist and a reluctant fire-wielder are about to be thrown together and asked to save the world. Could the bond between Liam and Gabby be the very thing needed to rally the forces of light to victory?

Hello, Readers. My name is Quinn Loftis and I am lucky enough to call myself a novelist. In 2011, I self-published my first novel, Prince of Wolves with no expectations, other than my friends and family might purchase the book out of pity. Now, several years later, with 30+ novels and counting under my belt, Prince of Wolves had been downloaded over 1 million times. Though I was hesitant at the time to submit my work to the world for their scrutiny, I'm so glad I did. It made my dream of making a living by telling stories a reality.

I'm blessed to share my household my wonderful husband of more than twenty years (who also co-writes with me on occasion), three beautiful sons, a French Bulldog, and an oversized tabby cat. I love hearing from readers, so if you have any questions about the books or my journey, don't hesitate to hit the 'Contact Quinn' in the menu above. Thank you so much for taking a chance on my books.

This is book 3 in the Nature Hunters series and needs to be read in order to fully enjoy. It will have you on the edge of your seat with the excitement and wanting to know what happens. I enjoyed getting to learn more about Gabby and Liam as well as the other characters from the first 2 books. I can’t wait to read the next book. I have really enjoyed this series.

********** Contains Spoilers**********

I enjoyed this book. I’ve been a fan of Quinn’s since I was first recommended Prince of Wolves (Grey Wolves Series) on Amazon back in 2013. I’ve read that series multiple times since then. Gabby, Tara and Shelly’s new BFFF according to Shelly is a fire elementalist, that has so much baggage as her parents were ab*sive a*seholes, who made Gabby not being able to trust as the people that should’ve loved her unconditionally treated her like sh*t. She pushes everyone away, but she’s now stuck with Tara and Shelly for life. Liam, water elementalist has no filter, and is a flirt.

Gabby tries to push him away as well, as she knows that it’ll destroy her when he realises that she’s nothing, like her parents conditioned her and leaves. No matter how many insults Gabby throws at Liam he just lets them roll right off his back, and keeps coming back for more. As soon as Liam first saw Gabby on the training field, he knew that she was his, and he was hers. He’s completely all in. He annoys the sh*t out of her but he slowly gets her to drop her walls and lets him in. Having their bond partially formed, as they had to share magic while on the side of a volcano as Gabby’s magic could protect Liam from dying. Elementalists from different academies all worked together combining their powers to limit the destruction of the volcano erupting.

Gabby could feel through their partially formed bond if Liam was lying or not I really liked the chemistry between Gabby and Liam. I really love a guy with a sense of humour, so to me Liam is the total package. The banter throughout this book made me smile. The elementalists have suffered great loss in their fight with the dark elementals, the demon lord Dolion and the witches who sided with darkness. I’m not going to give away the ending, you’ll just have to read it to find out what happened. I’m looking forward tor reading the final book, and seeing how they all work together to fight the darkness, from completely destroying the human world. I’d definitely recommend this book, series and author to everyone.

The Nature Hunters Academy Series is an enjoyable series. Once you read one book, you want to read them all. I recommend starting at the beginning of this series. While you will enjoy any of the books separately, you get the most enjoyment by reading from the beginning.

Cleansed by Water continues the saga of the elementals, the humans who have some connection to them and the world in trouble. Written in Quinn Loftis' unique style, you will find yourself laughing out loud, gasping when you least expect to and remembering why you told yourself not to drink and read at the same time. Fire Elementalist Gabby has baggage. Water Elementalist Liam is destined to love her. Fire and water don't mix. Enough said. Well, not really. Old foes reappear. New ones show up. Young warriors keep fighting and the roller coaster continues. Look - it is good for quarantine reading. It is better for beach reading. It is best for reading just because you want to have a good read, escape reality and just enjoy the adventures of the young folks. There is plenty of fighting if you like fights. Plenty of twists and turns. I would like the book to have focused more on the main characters and at the same time, I LOVED learning more about the older characters. I won't give away some of the plot, but I was left speechless when the book ended. And the point of it all is that THE BOOK ENDED!!!! I needed more. I want more. I need a rewrite of some things. I want the adventure to continue in different ways. Get ready. If you love Quinn Loftis' other books, you will love this one. Grab your popcorn. Don't drink and read. Have someone standing by to pick you up when you fall out. And, don't say I didn't warn you.

3.5 out of 5 stars. Bittersweet experience. I managed to stay engaged despite the predictability that is weaved in to this series. The twists and turns speckled in here and there were a saving grace that kept me turning the pages.

My main quibble, however, lies with the character development. Like in book 2 the central love story didn't resonate with me. I struggled to form a strong emotional bond with them. This lack of connection made it more of a chore to finish this book than a joy. I found Shelly and Gabby’s characters somewhat irksome. Their scenes were a test of patience, often causing me to rush through them to the next segment of the plot.

I usually anticipate the next book when engrossed in a series, but unfortunately, that’s not the case this go around.

To be fair, there were moments I thoroughly enjoyed. Some of the plot twists were unexpected, and these surprises made the reading experience worthwhile. Furthermore, the epilogue piqued my interest, introducing a new character and hinting at potential interactions with the Lord of the Underworld in the final book.

In conclusion, "Cleansed by Water" has its strengths and flaws. While not in a hurry, I do plan on reading the final book in the series to see how Loftis wraps up the narrative.

The Nature Hunters Academy Series.
Cleansed by water is number 3 book on the series. You will start to read it and will not drop it until you finish it. I love all the books from Quinn. The story continuous with Liam and Gaby and from the beginning you can understand their connection. The way that the character of Gaby grows, and learn how to love. I love the way that Quinn can express the emotions that you can feel it yourself. You will laugh, cry, be angry, all the emotions, in one book. You will want to read it repeatedly.

I love Quinn and her stories. She has invented several series that are deeply meaningful. Each addition to her series of her collections are amazing. Cleansed by Water is no different. This book (And series) has been created at the right time. Talk about books taking you on an adventure!! Whether they lead you into a new world for you to leave your old behind. Or simply, add connection and knowledge to your existing life. Quinn has done an amazing job in Cleansed by Water. This is a great book to add to the adventure of the series. Gabby has had a hard life, Quinn has managed to express what it means to be beautiful amongst that destruction. What it means to have true love and support in friends and how to trust people (or open up to people and be vulnerable) again. Magnificent. I loved the hilarious moments, raw emotions and being shocked! Nothing is as it seems in Quinn’s world. I couldn’t put it down! You will enjoy her work!! It’s worth it all!!

This book is a continuation of the story of the elementals. It has become one of my favorite collections in my "Quinnlist". You'll laugh out loud, you'll find yourself tearing up, you'll find yourself saying...just one more page and I'll put it down, and of course you don't want to. This book focuses on Gabby and Liam and you'll love the roller coaster ride. There are so many times you'll say, I didn't see that coming! Quinn masterfully weaves in suspense, tragedy, triumph and humor. If you haven't started the series, run to your preferred bookseller and get it now. As usual, the only 2 words in the entire book I didn't like are THE END. It's gripping right up to the last sentence and leaves you wanting more!Quinn Loftis

BEST OF THE SERIES!

Quinn Loftis ROCKS the Nature Hunters Academy Series with this explosive third book!

Who says fire and water can’t mix? Certainly not this incredible author, who brings together two fantastic and polar opposite characters amidst end of the world type battles. Throughout the pages, Loftis allows characters to discover their own self-worth and abilities, creates even more depth within multiple characters’ relationships, and provides answers to many lingering questions. The story is also laced with perfectly timed humor from often very unexpected sources.

I think Cleansed By Water is the best of the series so far, with many shocking moments. Be prepared to gasp and then yell “NOOOOO!!!” out loud, several times.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Cleansed by Water is pure fire—pun intended. Gabby is a broken, brilliantly written character whose pain feels raw and real. Her push-pull dynamic with Liam, the flirty and deeply loyal water elementalist, is electric. Watching her struggle to accept love, purpose, and her own worth is both heartbreaking and empowering. The world is quite literally falling apart, but the emotional core of this story—Gabby and Liam’s reluctant bond—makes the chaos feel grounded. The elemental crisis is escalating, and the unity among the academies adds a nice sense of urgency and unity. Every chapter hits hard, and the emotional payoff is huge.

Once again Quinn takes us on a journey of emotions and excitement throughout this book. I have enjoyed getting to know the characters, the friendships, the couples, and this unique twist on our world. This series offers a lot of action and, of course, Quinn’s sense of humor. I was surprised by a few events and was left wanting more!! I can’t wait for the next book because it seems like this is only the beginning of the really epic stuff. If you enjoyed the first two books to this series, I have no doubts you’ll enjoy this one as well!

Gabby and Liam’s story is amazing! we get to see behind Gabby’s tough exterior to a girl who just needs love. And Liam is the perfect person. Under his flippant charm is a good man who loves her much.
Shelly and Tara will always be favorites and we all need friends like them.
I laughed, cried and even felt sucker punched at the end of this book.
The story continues seamlessly from the first book till now. Cannot wait for the next installment!!!

Oh man this book. It’s the third in this series and it still left me begging for more. Following Gabby and Liam was awesome. Their dynamics together really work well. The whole book left me cracking up laughing several times with everyone's interactions. The action and magic being used in this one made me wish I could join their team in person. This book picked up where book 2 left off and really took you along for the ride. I can’t wait for book four and you won’t want to either.

Soulmates Are Everything

Quinn once again managed to draw me in and fall in love with a whole new group of people. I laughed and I cried and I cheered and booed all in the same chapter. I love seeing the relationships of the soul bounded but also those that chose their love. Quinn truly has a thing for sassy blondes and Shelly reminds me so much of Jen. I can't wait for book 4 to see what's in store for these loving characters.

Truly amazing

Quinn is a gift from God with her writing skills. I'm so amazed how she can just suck you in to any story she writes and how amazing her fictional world is. That and the fact that her characters (the females) are usually a bit odd or weird, which I love. I love every one of her characters which she adds excitement to.
No one can go wrong by reading her stories and I can't wait for book 4 to come out. 2021 can't come soon enough ♥️

You won't want to put this down

This series has gotten better and better. Cleansed by Water follows Gabby - an independent fire elementalist with a dark past - and Liam - a water elementalist vying for his soul bonded to accept their fate.

Loftis has, once again, left us wanting and waiting for the next book in the series.

This book is a must read for all Loftis fans.

I just love how Quinn was able to make this book flow from the first two books. It’s had all the right elements that Quinn always gives you in her books. I don’t want to say to much, so I don’t give anything away. But I will say this book and the others to it are a must read. You won’t be disappointed

Doing a re-read of this series to refresh before book 5. I love everything by Quinn Loftis but I believe this series is my favorite. This book is… I want to say beautiful, which feels weird to say when the characters go through so much tragedy.

I love all the couples, but the way Liam loves Gabby is truly beautiful. And don’t even get me started on Shelly and Ra. Perfection.

Book #3 is even better than the first 2 books of the series! I was on the edge of my seat for the whole book. Lots of good laughs from the banter between characters, and some tears as we loose some characters too. Highly encourage this book to anyone who will listen!
