An unexpected savior

My only complaint is that this book was over before I wanted it to be. The characters are well developed and easy to connect with. I love how Bear has that instant connection and a strong protective instinct, and his lady love is a force to be reckoned with. This fast paced book was perfect for a quick afternoon read. I’m looking forward to reading more by this author.

Wild County is only a pit stop for her....but maybe not when she meets the protective Bear

Bear is the fourth book in the Wild County Curves series. The story is about Bear Montana and Sylvie Homes.
Bear own the Wild County Creek Lodge. Well he actually started the Lodge and has spent the last years working to make the lodge the best in the Colorado, and working towards the best in the nation. He is old friends with Dane so when he gets a phone call asking for a favor it is done without question.
Sylvie has come to Wild County to stay with her cousin and her husband, Eden and Dane. She has basically run from her home and life in Wyoming to get away from her boyfriend, well now ex-boyfriend. He was abusive to her emotionally but when he got drunk and it got physical she was out the door and on the road the next morning. The plan is for her to lay low somewhere that he does not know about and save money so she can go to New York city.
Bear and Sylvie meet when she goes to the lodge to interview for a housekeeper position. There is an immediate attraction, well actually longing. Bear hires Sylvie having already decided the previous day when he got the call from Dane. When Sylvie goes to leave the office Bear sees the bruises on her wrist and he recognizes what she may be going through. Now that she is his employee Bear knows that it would not be right to do anything but later that afternoon, when he can't stop thinking about her, Bare needs to know what Sylvie's story is, just so he can be prepared.
Bear is very protective of Sylvie and the next day they cross paths early in the morning before she starts work. He cannot stop thinking about her all day and is waiting for her when she punches out at the end of her day. He asks her for a coffee date and to her surprise she agrees. Getting involved with someone is the last thing she wants to do as this is only a temporary place for her on her way to NYC. But when Sylvie's ex shows up and Bear's ultra possessive and protective Alpha comes roaring out to deal with him she starts to have some second thoughts. For Bear she is his woman for now and forever. It seems that maybe Sylvie won't be going to NYC after all.

This is a short story that definitely packs a punch of drama, action, suspense, romance and some sizzling sexy times. I enjoyed the story-line as it grabbed me immediately and the characters are interesting and have some depth. Overall I enjoyed this book and had a nice smile on my face with the Epilogue............little chocolate covered hands and a white pantsuit do not mix!!!

This is fourth book of the In Wild County the Mountain Men series, but it was the first one I have read and I have really been missing out. I don't think I have ever read a book where while reading I have actually felt safe for the main character.

Bear runs the Lodge in town, Sylvie is in town running away from her past. When she comes in to interview she was not expecting her new boss. Bear is taken back by Sylvie, what little he learned from his past, he automatically feels he needs to protect her.

Their story will make your heart race with the suspense and action, and also warm your heart for all the love you will feel.

Wild county series is just a delightful read. It has action, love, suspense and most of all kickarse hero and a sassy heroine. Bear is an all round good guy gives sylvie a job but notices not only is she gorgeous but also that she has bruises on her wrists. Bear is not happy, he can’t stop thinking about sylvie not only because he wants her but because she is in trouble. Will sylvie bear her soul to Bear and clue him into who or why she ran? Will her troubles follow her? If so can Bear keep her safe like he promises?

I have loved this entire series and this one is no exception While the books only take about an hour to read they sure do pack a punch especially this one as it deals with a fairly abusive ex

Sylvie applies for a job as a housekeeper at Wild County Creek Lodge in an effort to get her life back on track Bear the owner of the lodge falls for her the moment she enters his office for her interview He will now do whatever he needs to in an effort to get her love and keep her safe because he knows she is running form something.

Short, but well worth reading! Bear is a massive mountain of a man, a tattooed biker riding alpha with an absolute moral code and a heart of gold. Sylvie is sassy and feisty and independent and running from trouble. Their instant attraction complicates things for both of them, but Bear knows Sylvie is worth any risk. Surprisingly sweet, intensely hot, and wonderfully heartwarming, this is a great book for a quick break!

Running away

Her ex was a cop and he picked a fight hit her and bruised her wrist and threw her down. She ran to her cousin that she never told him about. She meets her new boss and couldn't believe how attracted she is to him and he was hit hard when he meets her. He wants to know what happened and she refused and somehow they made up had coffee and she told him. He even saved her from the ex when he followed her home. By all is good.

An enjoyable book four in the Wild Country Curves series! It is a well written, funny, witty, emotionally deep, and entertaining read. Likeable characters (I cheered for the way Sylvie handled herself against her ex); the chemistry between them is instant and off the charts.

Protective hottie

Love this fast paced romance. Bear sounds like he is a man's man :)
only thing that bothered me was during a steamy scene ... The description made me shudder ( not in a good way) the line referred to her girlie part as a "steaming mound" That description was not attractive to me :( but the book was sexy and sweet!

Loved it

Bear and Sylvie story was awesome. Sylvie is Eden's cousin and she is only passing through. That is until she meets Bear her new boss at the wild county lodge. Sparks fly but Sylvie is hiding something. Bear never wanted love until he met Sylvie. Its a wonderful book and full of surprises. The entire series was great.

A beautiful love story

I love love stories like this. Bear is definitely an alpha male and Sylvie sure needed him in her life. Again I am amazed at the descriptions of the lodge, the area, oh the waterfalls and surrounding areas. Thanks for such a good book.

This story has sensitive subject matter but in a way that’s not off-putting. I love a sexy, protective man and that’s exactly what Bear is. Although the story is short, it does pack a punch.

Short story?

I don't think this is even close to being a novel. It is a short story,at best. It's cute but with no real substance to the characters or the plot.
