One of my top favorite Wattpad reads this year! Ah, where can I get my own Warren?


This book has a lot of tropes that I'm a HUGE sucker for:

✓ childhood friends to lovers
✓ mutual pining
✓ first love
✓ both parties thinking that their love is unrequited so the angst level is heightened
✓slow burn
✓ misunderstandingd that are not overdone and actually enhances the quality of the story
✓ just the right amount of tension and build up as the story progresses
✓ very likeable characters (A++ hero and heroine)
✓ extremely devoted hero
✓ hero supporting the heroine in everything that she wants, even at the cost of his happiness
✓ hero doing absolutely anything for the heroine
✓ little to no potholes and inconsistencies
✓ perfect ending (though I want more because the story is just that good!)


I can't wait for this to be published so that I can get my own physical copy of it! Definitely one of my top reads this year!

THIS is probably the CUTEST, PUREST, AND WHOLESOME wattpad story that I've ever read! I coupdn't help but smile as I go along with the story. I'm so glad that there aren't any characters who are very toxic. The consistency of the cuteness, and wholesomeness of this story is definitely *chef's kiss* I'm soooo~ glad that I picked this book up at the book store 'cause the premise really got me intrigued. Will buy the remaining 2 books to complete the series! ☺

This is sooooo good. It was well written in Taglish, a combination of Filipino and English. But the writer shows she’s fluent with Filipino terms used in the whole book.

Basically, the whole Candy Series universe, each book/story will teach you that love is worth the wait.

Warren and Mimi’s story is so pure and innocent. It will make you wish you find your own Warren.
