Look Up: A Simple Habit That Will Strengthen Your Faith
Move beyond the doubts and fears that have been holding you back. There was a young man called Larry, we grew up in the same town but were never friends. Everyone knew Larry, he was one of them guys that was always down on his luck.
Nothing seemed to go right for him. His health was never that good, he didn't enjoy his job, and financially he was always struggling. He was depressed as he could see no way out. So, I shared with him a simple habit that helped me out of many difficult situations. It wasn't the first time I had given Larry advice, so I thought nothing more about it.
About 6-8 weeks later, I met Larry. At first, I didn't think it was him. He had to introduce himself. Up until that moment, any time you would meet him, he would be unshaven and casually dressed. But that day the man that stood before me was smartly dressed and walked with an air of confidence. He asked had I time for a coffee. I was busy, but in a state of shock; I said yes. When we sat down, I expected him to tell me that he had won the lottery or something like that, but instead, he thanked me for the advice. Telling me how his life had completely turned around. He was so excited that he could hardly get his words out. Larry went on the tell me that he was back with his wife, had started a small business and was healthier than he had been in years. Advising me that I should share my simple habit with others, saying that everyone needed to know the information. His enthusiasm was so infectious I said that I would. The advice I shared with Larry is contained within this book. But I'm not suggesting that everyone who reads this book is going to achieve Larry's results. Good book but
I read parts of the book and I begin to give thanks that it is obvious the author has not had a close interaction or good understanding of clinical depression.
To me he talks about depression as in it has only one face, a mood or feeling- however it can be a chemical imbalance that God made his perfect child have and has no intentions of removing because that is their mission on this world, and that's okay; God doesn't have to remove depression he can help you grow from under it (with medication that God had in his plan to be made) and shine a light for hope to those who are similar paths with the Lord. The clouds sometimes pass because your faith has lead you to a chemical balanced life.

This is a book I will keep referring back to. If you want to grow spiritually this is a book you will learn a lot about yourself and will help you on your journey with that Lord. i love this book. i want to share this with my friends and relatives because i want them to experience the feeling of healing and confidence that it will change our perspective in life . i felt relief, secured and no fear in the presence of God.
