I absolutely loved this book The only reason as to why it not a five star read is because the fact I had to read so many books in order to get here.

First of Alex my hot little (not whatsoever little) FBI agent, I loved reading his whole story and getting to be invested in it. We truly got to see the progression of him discovering while bringing to justice Dane. I will say I knew something was fishy about Kristan the moment she started to flirt with Alex not even five seconds after her husband died. Like come on girl the body was not even cold yet, plus don’t tell me you couldn’t tell he was already goo-goo gaga for Regan.

Regan my power vixen, she has gone through so much. I will say I admire her for keeping Luca’s secret long after his death. I know it must have been so hard not only keeping that but keeping from her family and everyone that she was in-fact the last person who saw Luca alive. I mean if it wasn’t already hard losing the person you thought was your sole mate. To add on top of that having guilt for two agent getting shot. My poor baby has been through the wringer.

Overall I really really enjoyed this book I just wish it were more accessible in the sense that we didn’t need to read all the other books as-well. I mean reading the same things happen over and over is just in my opinion a bit boring after a while even if it is from a new angle or perspective. Don’t get me wrong there were scenes I was definitely excited for and all but even then it just gets a bit much trying to remember everything. Also I am incredibly disappointed we never got to see them use the sex swing.

I loved this trilogy, and absolutely love having them all in a convenient boxset.

Lady in Waiting

This was a great start to the trilogy. I have been wanting to know more about Regan and Alex since they were first introduced in Isaac and Isabelle's book at the very beginning of the Enigma series.

I loved Regan with her take charge attitude. She really showed her vulnerable side in this book.

Alex is the perfect hero. He wants to do his job, and arrest Isaac, but he also wants to protect Regan at any cost. I loved him.

Alex and Regan's bickering cracked me up . There was so many moments in this book where all I could do was laugh out loud. Their sexual chemistry is sizzling.

Man in Queue
41/2 ☆☆☆☆

In this one we get to meet Alex's side of the family, and see how he grew up. I loved the Roger's clan.

Alex and Regan had even more heat, and sexual chemistry. Their scenes were sizzling. I loved these two together. Their bickering was hilarious.

Couple On Hold
Five☆☆☆☆☆
This was the perfect conclusion to Alex and Regan's story. I loved getting another side of the events that happened in Issac and Izzy's story.

This is a must read couple that readers will fall in love with.

I absolutely recommend the whole entire Engima series. Love every single book. And the Nikolai series too.
