Ryan Smith doesn't know what he's doing with his life. All he knows is football, his motorcycle, and the beautiful waiter at Aunt Marie's diner.
But, with Fourth of July right around the corner, he wants to ask Caroline Miller to come to the Field of Honor party with him. However, in his mind, he isn't good enough for her.

I’m always down for a fun contemporary story. This one, released on the Fourth of July and centered around festivities, was absolutely amazing. I loved everything about it. Faith Lane has a strong writing voice and she flawlessly creates broken characters and great relationships. I highly recommend this as a first read from this author. It only makes me want more. Could we get a novel from this, please? I don’t want to leave these characters yet.
I really loved this book. That isn't much of a surprise, considering I have loved the other three of her books. Faith Lane's books are ones that the are easy to relate to. I'm glad I got around to this book, Caroline and Ryan are perfect in this book. Can't wait to read more of Faith Lane's books.
Faith Lane is a master at creating cute, clean Christian romances. I was ecstatic when I saw she suddenly released this book and bought it as soon as I could.
Field of Honor is about Ryan, the son of a solider, who’s looking for love but struggles with self-doubt. He feels like he’s not good enough for the girl of his dreams because he doesn’t have his life figured out. Caroline, however, would disagree.
It’s another quick read. A snippet of happiness that can transport you from a dull moment in reality to living inside a Hallmark movie. Kane’s stories are so adorable that you can’t help but love them.
This one does have a few more grammar errors than her other books but it’s not distracting. I still highly, highly recommend it.
