Plot: Psychokinetic boy and his older twin attend new school, only to discover it's filled with more supernatural stuff than they expected.
1. I'm a huge fan of Tsuda Mikiyo's stuff; she usually writes things with subverted/examined gender roles, a lot of pretty people whose prettiness actually affects and impacts the plot, family/friendship drama, and general hilarity. Her main characters tend to be well sketched out and compelling.
2. Unfortunately, this volume spent most of it's time on exposition and setup, which left us with very little time with the characters. Sui and Suo were pretty cliche- angry protective twin and sweet as sugar nice twin. For a moment there I was convinced this was a crossdressing thing (because of how Sui is drawn and posed) but no he's just a guy.
3. I mean, I think this is a solid author so I'll probably read more and see what she does with the premise? But whatever we got in volume one was pretty underwhelming.
